If I had to guess, it's probably gonna combine all the main characters from both of those movies, adding some villains for good measure (or maybe not). Like this:

1. Miles Morales (ITSV; hoodie outift)
2. Gwen Stacy (ATSV; dual-moulded arms and printed shoes)
3. Peter B. Parker (ATSV; pink robe with a child carrier and Mayday)
4. Peter Parker – Noir (ITSV)
5. Peni Parker (ITSV)
6. Peter Porker (ITSV)
7. Miguel O'Hara (ATSV)
8. Hobie Brown (ATSV)
9. Pavitr Parbhakar (ATSV)
10. Margo Kess (ATSV)
11. The Prowler (ITSV)
12. Doc Ock (ITSV)

Hopefully everyone includes an additional head with a hairpiece. I am so excited to hear more. This is the best LEGO news I've ever heard.

It's nice that we will get Spider-verse CMF next year, but I wish Lego would just do Mcu Infinity Saga series to give us some missing charctares from Mcu golden age. Oh well, Spider-verse is a solid  choice too

It's for sure exciting for fans of these films, I'm happy for you guys... but man, I'm kinda bummed that it's not gonna be a more general Marvel CMF - little concerned that this'll be just like... Spider-Man, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Spider-Man, etc etc. until all 12 slots are filled 😭

Yeah this seems very random in my opinion, it will be a shame not to get characters like Wonder Man and Wiccan. However this could be a brilliant opportunity to give characters like Spider Punk good quality minifigures that they wouldn’t get in sets.

Hopefully if this is true it isn’t just twelve spider people and includes some nee villains like The Prowler

Since we‘re also getting a comic-inspired set (allegedly), I‘m fine with that :classic:

same here, tbh that galactus set is gonna be hard to beat

Huh... Did not have a Spider-Verse CMF on my bingo card! (throws away Animal Crossing and Fortnite predictions)

There's definitely a lot they could do for this - several Spider-Verse minifigs do exist, but I could see them getting updates here (like Spider-Noir or 2099). Lots of different Spider variants they could go with, too. And hopefully they pull a D&D Series and include two heads for everyone - one masked, and one unmasked (for those it would apply to). That could also give a reason for those who aren't into Spider-Verse to get the series.

Potential for Miles, Gwen, Miguel, Spider-Punk, Spider-Man India, Prowler, Jessica Drew (finally!!!), and so much more.

I’m pumped!

All I care about is Spider Punk. I was thinking he might've been the exclusive figure in the upcoming book (either comics or ATSV based) since the upcoming wave are giving us a new Spider Woman figure, I thought new Spider Verse variants are back on the table so what better way to sell the book than by including one of the most popular new characters from the second film

Also the exclusive book figures never seem to be villains, so it's basically guaranteed to be a Spider Man variant anyway

Didn't they do a series with Batman variants for one of the LEGO Batman movies some time ago? I wonder how that one sold

It wasn't exclusively Batman suits, there were 5 suits, one Batgirl, casual Dick, Barbara and Commissioner Gordon, a reused Joker from Arkham (new face), nurse Harley and 9 new villains

The only reason I bothered listing them all is so we can reflect that both TLBM series had 20 figures. I understand chasing down 20 figures could be frustrating, but imagine if both Marvel CMFs had 20

Series 1 could've filled out Agatha, USAgent, Zemo, Strange Supreme, Infinity Ultron, Yellowjacket, Zombie Scarlet Witch and Watcher (beast mode)

Series 2 could've had Ms Marvel (in place of Agatha), God Loki, Daredevil (yellow suit), Scarlet Scarab, Kahhori, Talos, Nightcrawler, Jubilee and Cable

The upcoming Star Wars one will be Episode IX Palpatine, and the last Harry Potter one was Rita Skitter.

Do-do-do, dooby-do, here comes the Spider-Man

I’m so hyped for the Spider-Verse series. I was hoping for a general Marvel one, mainly to give us the missing characters from ‘97, but this is a worthy substitute. As others have said, there aren’t a whole lot of build options, so this is a great opportunity to get a bunch of the characters. That being said, I do hope that Peni and Vulture are left out of the CMF and get their own respective sets.

I have no idea how he’d fit, but I’d love Kingpin in the CMF, too.

At some point in the second spiderverse movie they show all kinda villains trapped, right? A lot of them are comicbased. I hope that they pick some of them too.
and this cmf series will be a series with 100 figs, right?

I meant books from the Super Heroes theme, I should've specified

Maybe we'll be lucky and have a CMF in 2026/2027 so that we can help fill the Avengers film roster.

Only if they focussed on the Raimi movies  The SMCU or whatever the Spider-man-less universe is called doesn‘t deserve sets in my opinion. Those movies are watchable, but that‘s about it.

I'd love to see them revisit the Raimi series. They have to know that there is a market for that.

I wouldn't mind a Spider-Man CMF series but I have zero interest in one based on the animated movies. Would have liked one based on the comics, since so many classic Spider-Man characters still don't have minifig representation, or one based on the Sam Raimi and ASM movies.

This doesn't surprise me though because Marvel's Disney+ show offering has been so meager lately that I really didn't think another CMF series would be justified. Even Lego seems to realize that a standalone Spider-Man series would sell better.

Yes! This is what I'd like to see.

So many of the minifigures from the first two movies deserve to be remade. Like Green Goblin, Harry Osborn, and MJ in her red Chinese dress. Or maybe MJ in her wedding dress from SM2 since that would be new.

Would also like to see black suit Spider-Man from SM3 and Harry as the New Goblin. Also Gwen Stacy, Eddie Brock, Eddie as Venom, etc.

Yeah I'm a little torn on this. A comic CMF would be cool but knowing TLG half spots would be taken up by Venom, Carnage, Green Goblin etc.

Spider-Man has always been my favourite comic character and I love the first Spider-Verse movie but I dont have much interest in a whole CMF series based on these movies specifically.

However, it does make me hopeful we might finally get a comic-adjacent Spider-Man with (at least partially) printed boots (surely one of the variants will have them), like the Sanctum figure. A Miles based on the first movie would be cool too.

That's true. As much as it would be nice to see some characters who haven't had minifig depiction yet (a comic accurate Electro), my guess is that any such comic-based CMF would focus on all the Spider-Man characters we've already had dozens of depictions of. Lego can't seem to get past Venom and Green Goblin.

I think a few minifigures from the Spider-Verse movies would make sense, especially since we're getting sets from the movies now. But a whole series with 12 minifigures dedicated to just those two movies seems like overkill.

If we're really getting a CMF series based on the Sony films in general, I think it would be ideal to do about 4 minifigures from each franchise/universe. 4 from Spider-Verse, 4 from the Saimi Raimi films, and 4 from the ASM films. Maybe make it 3 each instead so that the last 3 can be from the MCU movies (although I think those are already properly represented in minifigure form and don't need anymore).

Sigh, this is sad news to hear, I don't get the hype for the Spider-Verse movies, there goes my hope for Daredevil and Marvel Zombies in the CMF, at least if it was a comic based CMF we could get characters we haven't gotten before but nooooo, lets make the CMF based on an animated movie .......... well at least I can save money now

Well, the concept could still be improved if you want to combine all the desirable elements. How about, say, robot Spider-Man in a police car vs flying space dinosaurs? 😉

We need to smuggle you into lego HQ immediately.

Very excited about the spider-verse CMF. It's probably just Sony, which is still INCREDIBLE, but one with the comics too would be like the best lego marvel thing ever.

Marvel Zombies is, in fact, animated

If Spiderverse CMF is true maybe a new mould like Hagrid/Axl (i.e. taller and bulkier) could be used for a Kingpin figure.

Also why is no one excited by possibility of a Tombstone minifig in the series!

A Spiderman 2099 fig could come with a mini statue of Lyla as the accessory.

Also if it is true and combined with Spiderverse set in Jan then Ill put forward my guess for Kingpin Tower with Collider as a Marvel modular next November.

I know, I just mean why base it off an animated movie about spider people with no peter parker

It's just a wasted slot IMO, A comic based CMF has so many more options for figures

I mean, we'd just get Miles,Spider Gwen,2099,Noir and some other spidey versions, it's a bit boring imo, if it was based off the comics then we could have more options like (Kingpin,Electro,Shocker,Bullseye,Mary Jane,Tombstone,Scorpion,Kraven

We've gotten so many Spider-Gwens,Miles that it's just getting boring now

Perhaps Marvel CMF series 2 didn't sell well so they chose this route

Have... have you seen the movies? It kind of seems like you haven't even watched the trailers or anything. Peter is the deuteragonist of the first film and there's a billion peters in both.

Does Oscorp have a definitive look in the comics? It seems like the most well-known visuals come from the TASM movies or the PS4/5 games, and I can't see them going all-in on a massive set based on those.
