Inoltre, se D&D può includere più teste per cambiare il sesso del personaggio, qualsiasi Spider-person pertinente DEVE includere una testa e un capello extra per smascherare

I think a double head without a mask and with accurate hair is a must for almost every spider-character…

I'm not enthusiastic about this theme, but I'm sure that the minifigures will be very cool as in every cmf line! And at this point I think that it could actually be the theme of the great d2c anticipated by a set in January (if this tradition is also respected in 2025). I'll have to watch the movies to try to imagine a possible subject

Imma be honest. I’m thrilled at the prospect of a spiderverse CMF, it’s probably the only way the characters’ minifigs could be done justice. Though I admit I’m a bit miffed that it isn’t a DC Series 2. I guess a small, delusional, part of me hoped that it’d happen to commemorate Superman starting the new DCU.

At this point, it looks like we might not even get a proper movie tie-in set for Superman.

I’ll weigh in with my opinion on the potential reuses in this Spider-Verse CMF:

For Miles, while I do want THAT version of Miles, I’d also really love the version from the “What’s Up Danger?” scene or from the final battle with Kingpin. That suit is my absolute favourite Spider-Man outfit period—Bombastic Bag-man notwithstanding—and deserves CMF treatment in my oh so humble opinion. (Plus, if LEGO and Nike are friendly now, Miles could get the swoosh after all.)

For Gwen, I’m gonna go on a limb and suggest her non-Spidey, “Hobbie’s jacket” outfit. It’d make for some differentiation, and make something that would appeal to non-Spider-Verse AFOLs.

For Peter B., I’d like his AtSV pink bathrobe attire, since his ItSV look can be easily replicated. I’d also love a Mayday babyfig.

I’m okay with Spider-Noir, as long as he has his Rubix cube. (Another copyright-mess, yes, but it’d be great for use outside a Spider-Verse CMF.) Spider-Ham should be excluded, since he’s in the Daily Bugle, and not much different from his look in ItSV. Penni would be a boring minifig without her mech, so that leaves two options open.

My predictions/hopes for the Spider-Verse CMF:

 1. Miles Morales (ItSV)

 2. Gwen (Casual)

 3. The Prowler (ItSV)

 4. Peter B. Parker + Mayday (AtSV)

 5. Spider-Man Noir (ItSV, baby)

 6. Spider-Man 2099 (AtSV) with Lyla Hologram

 7. Spider-Woman (AtSV)

 8. Spider-Man India

 9. Spider-Punk

 10. Scarlet Spider (AtSV, h-e-double-hockey stick yeah) + Spider-Cat

 11. Miles G. Morales (if you know you know)

 12. Spider-Byte or Doc Ock (ItSV) or Vulture (AtSV) or Spider-Metro Boomin’ or Bombastic Bag-man

While I see this is a realistic proposal for the CMF, this really would not excite me so much since only Prowler, India, Punk, and Byte would be new minifigures - who are mostly very obscure variants and could easily be thrown in a set like the new Spider-Verse set.  I purchased the entire roster for the last two Marvel CMF series, and I doubt I would collect the entire roster for this.

Before there's too much more discourse on the idea that "a Spider-Verse CMF would just be repeats of minifigures that already exist," lets not forget that in the two existing Marvel series:

  1. Series 1:
    1. Scarlet Witch: Already included in other sets.
    2. White Vision: New
    3. Monica: Reused in another set (albeit much later)
    4. Winter Solder: Slight update on existing model
    5. Falcon Cap: New
    6. Loki: Arguably a variant of an existing character.
    7. Sylvie: New
    8. Zombie Hunter Spidey: No all that new
    9. Zombie Cap: Arguably a variant of an existing character.
    10. Captain Carter: New
    11. T'Challa Star-Lord: Could argue either new or a variant.
    12. Gamora: Should have been in the set.
  2. Series 2:
    1. Agatha: New
    2. Moon Knight: New
    3. Mr. Knight: New
    4. WBN: Arguable already exists in Lego.
    5. She-Hulk: Already exists in Lego.
    6. Hawleye: Already exists.
    7. Kate: New
    8. Goliath: Arguably an Ant-Man Variant.
    9. Echo: New
    10. Beast: New
    11. Storm: Already exists, and recently reused.
    12. Wolverine: Already exists, and recently reused.

There's definitely arguments to be made one way or another on these, but the same arguments of "they already exist in Lego form," "they're already in sets," "they should be in sets and not a CMF," or "there's not interesting things they could include with them" also apply to the other Marvel waves (and, heck, even the DC one, or even most licensed CMFs).

Same (Except and Loki instead of Psylocke) but you're also right that we were never getting Born Again characters.

Noir We’ve had plenty of those too. Spider-Man 2099? Honestly, glad to have him again for those who missed out last time, but he’s also not a character who needs the CMF treatment.

Disagree on these two- we've have ONE Noir, and it'll have been more than 5 years since then when the series releases. As for Spiderverse 2099, he seriously benefits from arm printing for his gauntlets (Or new molds since they really spike out of his arms pretty far), as well as being able to continue the cell-shading/spot printing onto his arms and even just his legs. I never liked how the 2019 figure looked because of that- all the spot detailing just stops at his waist.

Unrelated to Marvel but does anyone know if keeping sealed sets near a radiator that's not that hot, will it affect the pieces in the sealed box ?

The radiator is not hot, it's a tiny tiny bit warm when you touch it but that's it, barely hot at all

I'm worried my sealed sets might get damaged from the small heat, maybe I'm paranoid

Lego puts their sets in ovens (Assumably not to like pizza making temperatures, but still). I wouldn't worry.

Here's my idea:

1. Miles Morales (ATSV suit with the bleeding armpits) - energy blast effects and web effects

2. Peter B parker (Trenchcoat and pants): Baby Mayday figure and pizza slice. Sort of both movies here.

3. Spider-Gwen (From her own universe): Pastel shading on the figure to stand out from the other 50 billion gwen figures in circulation. Comes with the Hobie universe hopper

4. Spider-Man 2099: Comes with cape and an alternate hair/head with one side of the head having the fangs and red eyes.

5. Omniversal Spot: Has new molds for messed up, jagged (to the extent lego can make things jagged) limbs. Comes with spot portals.

6. Spider Man India: Comes with a cloth waistcape and his yoyo.

7. Spider-Punk: Comes with Guitar

8. Peni Parker: Comes with spider.

9. Ben Reily: Comes with web effects.

10. Prowler: Comes with cape and gauntlets

11. Spider-Man Unlimited: Comes with cape

12. Spider-Noir: Comes with minecraft head printed like a legally distinct rubik's cube.

And if the Sony part's wrong and it really is just spider verse in general:

1. Spider-Man (60's cartoon): with picture of himself and web

2. Cosmic Spider-Man

3. Supaidaman, Emissary from Hell: with tommy gun (He is canon, have a look)

Spoiler

Screenshot%202024-11-18%20173209.png

4. Ben Reily

5. Kaine: with alternate spider head

6. Spider-Noir: With revolvers

7. Superior Spider Man (With iron spider arms)

8. Miles Morales (ATSV)

9. Spider-Man 2099 (ATSV)

10. Spider Gwen (pastel colored shading like in the other CMF to differentiate her)

11. Spider-Man india

12. Spider-Punk

I dont think the critcism that gwen keeps being done to death is very "fair". Lego has only given her 1 torso and faceprint despite spamming her in spiderman sets. Furthermore, let's be honest, non-spidey chracters like x men wouldn't have appeared in those spidey based sets anyways (besides venomised versions and ghostrider for some reason, but not xmen im pretty sure because of previous merch mandates)

Again, admittedly her itsv suit might be very similar so I hope to see her atsv suit

Didn't the rumor say that the CMF would be based on the Sony films?

Perhaps it’s Morbin time 2: electric boogaloo

Only good thing I could see out of that possibility is a Knull minifig.

No, it specifically says "Sony's Spider-Verse" CMF series.

And we all know what people mean by Spider-Verse. The rumour would've stated otherwise then.

Kingpin using a new Eggmanlike torso would be cool. Heres my Ideal series.

1 - Miles ITSV with hoodie over spider suit, includes spraypaint cans, alternative head and hair, computer monitor and bagel.

2 - Peter B Parker ITSV with alternative head and hair, Fries and Mayday from ATSV

3 - Noir With rubix Cube

4 - The Prowler with gauntlets, Alternative Head and hair

5 - Liv/ Doctor Octopus

6 - Kingpin ITSV

7 - Spider-woman with motorbike.

8 - Gwen ATSV with package with Hobies universe jumper in inside, alternative head and hair, plus drum set.

9 - Spider-man 2099 with alternative head and hair, plus hologram trophy fig and 2*4 printed tile with a display of canon events.

10 - Spider-Punk with alternative head and hair

11-  Spider-Man India

12 - Miles G Morales/prowler

Plus Peni parker mech set as well. £25 With a SP//R mech, spider-Ham, Tombstone and a scorpion with brick built legs.

We don‘t have the 2HY set lists yet, so I‘m not sure where this sentiment is coming from. Also, the official tie-in merch announcement would be a bold-faced lie then

Technically, you’re incorrect: all of these minifigures would be brand new designs, thus new minifigures. If you mean characters, then yes, you’re correct, but JohnTPT17 (TPT17 feels oddly specific, by the way) has already shown that previous series included repeats as well. The only reason why anyone was excited about those repeats was because of the source material, in my opinion; I’d argue that such is the case here.

LEGO doesn’t throw minifigs into any set at random. They could, and according to us as consumers they should, but as a business they need to enforce limits to protect their bottom line. It would take three to six more sets to provide all the necessary characters, which replaces what could’ve been an X-Men, Spidey, or Avengers sets. I’ll repeat: there’s not much set-material from the Spider-Verse films.

Plus, to do each character justice, with each having immaculate detail and unique design elements to their character, a CMF-budget would be required for printing all over, new molds, so on and so forth. If in a retail set, most of these unique characters would probably be missing all that detail. It would be acceptable, maybe, but not ideal.

Obscure variants? Maybe, unless your introduction to some of these characters was the Spider-Verse films. The designs in these films are probably the strongest and most definitive versions of each character. They will be make for some wonderful minifigures.

Of course, save your money as you like. As for me, I’ll probably buy the whole series, something I’ve never done previously, because I know I’ll appreciate every single character.

Exactly. Nobody ever refers to the Raimi trilogy, ASM, and/or Spider-Man-less Spidey universe as the „Spider-Verse“. Also, a 12-figure series based on three distinct universes wouldn‘t make much sense, even after they technically are connected now thanks to NWH. Sure, you could have 4 characters from each universe (Spidey, MJ, Gobbie, JJJ; Spidey, Gwen, other Gobbie, Captain Stacy; Venom, Carnage, Morbius, Madame W… sorry, can‘t say it with a straight face :laugh_hard:), but that‘s not all that appealing to me as a CMF series.

I‘d rather have the Spider-Verse CMF and then actual sets based on the Raimi movies  And mayyyyybe the ASM movies. As for the other universe, no thanks

I'm not really arguing for or against the CMF here but this just made me think about what you could make from the SV films. I reckon they could come up with a fair few sets.

Green Goblin's big enough to be a mech/surtur-esque set.

Peni Parker's robot.

Aunt May's house with the spider base and/or Sinister Six attack.

The Collider.

Alchemax, maybe?

Probably a fair few things from Across but I can't remember it well enough to say anything definitively (something from the Spider-Base and Spider-Man India's reality, perhaps?)

Some of those may sound like generic buildings on the face of it but the one set we do/will have is the Bodega. Maybe that's just me wanting more buildings though!

For a playset I think Lego could actually make, I think a set centering around the Spider-Man T-Rex (apparently named Pter Ptarker?) could work. Throw in 3-4 other minifigs of other spider-people, and boom, easy way to get a few more. And it wouldn't even be the first weird Marvel Spider-Man T-Rex set, thanks to the Venom Rex.

That being said, Peni's mech is such a no-brainer I'm flabbergasted Lego hasn't made it yet. Maybe it'll come out in the fall to compliment the CMF.

A version of Spider-Rex is coming in the next Spidey and Amazing Friends wave (only set of that wave not to leak yet)

A Spider-Verse CMF is excellent news, I only wish it would release sooner than September. It makes complete sense to focus an entire CMF series on this as the number of detailed prints and new moulds for characters spanning the two films so far could never be accommodated within the Superheroes budget anyway.

@JohnTPT17 I always find it amusing how minifigure-compatible mechs / buildable figures that actually make sense in the source material are often overlooked by LEGO. This year’s Surrey and Sentinel, and the Ant-Man from next year’s Civil War set are definitely a step in the right direction at least.

I believe claybricks said as much when he leaked the Asylum. Falconfan has also hinted it might be the only set. Nothing definite, but I wouldn’t go off and vow to eat a Lego minifigure if DC doesn’t get any more sets.

Good points all around. Don’t forget Prowler’s motorcycle too! If he’s not in the CMF, I’d love a small $11ish set similar to the set with Venomized Doc Ock this year.

I’m going to campaign for a Collider set in the near future. It would feature most of the unique villains from ItSV that don’t quite deserve CMF treatment, per se. Build would be a half of the full chamber, with plenty of studs to pose Minifigures, making it an all around great display piece for anyone’s minifig collection, just like the NWH Liberty Battle.

That's such an obvious one! Not sure why I didn't think of it.

Considering the initial No Way Home wave, if this CMF doesn't end up featuring many villains I wouldn't be surprised if we got at least one or two of these, maybe around the release of Beyond, now that Spider-Verse sets are actually a thing.

The Collider could also feature a bunch of items being warped, which would make for a more visually interesting set.

2025's modular building (Tudor Corner) has leaked. It has about 200 pieces more than the X-Mansion and costs EUR 100 less, just in case anyone was still wondering whether the X-Mansion is overpriced.

Something, something, Licensing costs, more exclusive pieces and prints, more baseplates with a large mould, more larger pieces in X-mansion, Tudor Corner being smaller than X-mansion.

Licensed sets are inherently more expensive than unlicensed ones, so these comparisons never make much sense  Since we don‘t know how the fees actually work (e.g., if they charge a fixed amount for the whole license or if certain subthemes cost more than others, or if characters even have individual fees), we be can never make an unbiased comparison.
