A bunch of people are speculating that it might be Magneto. Nothing concrete, though.

Well, Star-Lord's helmet is EUR 80 and only about 600 pieces, so at least the price-to-pieces relation doesn't seem far off. But maybe it's less a helmet and more a cowl or something, thus fewer pieces? Or maybe it's a tiny Ant-Man helmet.

Fixed it for you. The monkey’s paw doesn’t need to give us the same Wolverine and Rogue.

I didn't watch the Kraven movie (seemingly no-one else did either), but do people think there's a chance of a comic Kraven minifig showing up in a Spider-Man set next year? Similar to the Morbius set soon after that movie came out

I could see Kraven coming in A Oscorp Modular.

How many more Wolvies can they make before they run out of versions to make?

You boldly assume they won't just put the same wolverine figure in sets for five years.

Now I'm curious what is the most number of times Lego has re-used an IP figure in sets/ releases?

It's got to be one of the spider-men. TLBM Batman would be a threat, but he's got a ton of minor variants with different faces.

Looking at some of the Christmas-themed minifigs, Lego was kinda messed up for this one fr

The B1 Battle Droid would be the cop-out answer, but for individual characters I think it might be the current version of Chewbacca

Minecraft Steve with purple legs is in 28 sets. But then in another 4 sets as the exact same figure but with iron armour and an iron helmet. And 3 more sets with just the iron helmet. 2 sere with full diamond armour ( that does mean different legs unlike any others I've listed so far) and in another set with the diamond armour but without the armoured legs so purple again this time. And then in diamond armour with the legs but no helmet, and in another set with full hold armour including legs, one set with full leather armour. One set with iron leggings and boots and no other armour.  One set with iron armour head to toe. 2 sets with leather armour just on the legs. One set with iron armoured legs, the diamond armour piece on the torso and an enchanted helmet. One set with gold legs armour only. One set with full netherite armour. One set in full green armour ( idk what green armour except maybe a turtle scute helmet).

Steve received an updated skin tone last year so it's no longer the same figure but the original Steve has appeared in 50 sets if you are willing to count the different colour of legs. ( The armour on the torso and head are separate removable pieces with the standard Steve parts underneath.) or 36 sets with just the standard purple legs.

For just super heroes the TLBM batman appears in 18 sets as the exact same figure other than 3 different heads. Ultimate Spiderman with plain blue legs in 14 sets.

But I think Minecraft Steve has won this.

Truly the best Lego marvel advent calendar ever.

I hadn't considered star wars, just cause here on EB it's a separate section. But I doubt Chewbacca will beat Steve. The B1 probably will though.

Yeah the standard battle droid appears in 54 sets, a few different arm configurations and parts on its back but basically the same figure.

Modern Chewbacca I'm his standard design is only in a measly 19 sets.

So my data would put the B1 as number one but that represents a whole type of droid not an individual so in my head I'm calling Minecraft Steve the winner. (Minecraft Alex isn't doing too bad numbers wise either).

Yeah, that is a wild choice for her specifically to wear.

Chewie's apparently in a lot but @Agent Kallus did the math and it's Steve, which I should have expected.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Totally agree. The problem with the rest of marvel's ugly sweaters that they are too subtle. The nebula's one is dark but I dig it.

I've ordered the advent calendar's Miles figure as he is the last of their kind.

Careful, he might try to rizz you up, even after you say you're not intersted

That meme where Miles sniffed the Window where Gwen was has aged poorly, Bro really is down bad xD

Peter Parker will always have rizz, but do you know who has more rizz than Peter ?

PAULLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

What if, Paul is Mephisto ?

Paul mech in 2026 ?

Lol.

(But realistically, while obviously we'll still get figures of comic or Spidey and Friends miles, I doubt this even stops us from getting specifically sony spider-verse miles for two reasons:

1. It's not that bad yet. His behavior's terrible and is the exact sort of thing I've had to deal with in real life, don't get me wrong, but it's not yet criminal or particularly explicit. Hypothetically speaking, you could just have him and Hailee record their lines separately (and/or remove the romance subplot between the two, which honestly I'd root for even without the BTS stuff. They just don't need it.)

2. Sometimes the studios just kind of... don't care? Like sure, usually they're pretty quick on the trigger if someone tweets something they don't like, or more justifiably if there's any allegations of criminal conduct, but sometimes they're just fine with it? Ezra Miller is the craziest example because he did pretty much every crime and DC just didn't care (though lego did drop him) but it's not the only time they'd just rolled through and kept someone on despite concerning or criminal behavior.)

He's just angry that he's the only spider-man to not have his love interest fall for him IRL

Given that Mephisto is responsible for breaking up Peter and MJ's marriage, I think this actually works as a legitimate theory that he created or influenced Paul as part of his interest in keeping Peter and MJ apart.

I think last of his kind, meant last marvel advent calendar fig. Especially seeing as we are getting the spiderverse set and cmf next year.

I'm so confused. Who is this in reference to and what happened?

The guy who plays Miles in the spider verse movies keeps hitting on Hailee (Gwen, also the best human in the transformers movies) despite her being engaged and uncomfortable with it, and while I don't remember the exact details I think something similar happened with the lady who played Liz in homecoming.

Ohh, since he specified Miles I didn't realize, but I guess that makes sense.

The idea of Miles' voice actor having such negative rizz that Lego would put an embargo on the character was the funniest possible way to interpret that

Some of this seems to be alleged though, according to my limited understanding of the situation. Hailee (also the world’s greatest archer, the only other person to take down Kingpin, and, most importantly, proud owner of a pizza dog) and Shameik seem to have fine chemistry in most interviews I’ve seen; nothing awkward or uncomfortable.

Now the part with Shameik posting a photo with the actress who plays Liz with a weird caption and refusing to take it down… that’s a little sus. Nothing crime-worthy, though. Hope everyone, especially Shameik, can move past this. (By Shameik specifically, by growing up a little bit, lol.)

Before the new year comes and this thread closes, I want to ask a question that’s been on the back of my mind:

Why do we care about whether or not the Fantastic Four are comic-based or not? Does it matter from what source material they are, so long as we see the FF as LEGO minifigs at all? It seems to me that some wouldn’t buy the FF set if it was MCU-based, although I may have misread the room on that one.

Hope I don’t come off as offensive or obtuse. I think I kept bringing this up when we got initial rumors and nobody responded, so I figured I might as well try again.

Thanks for explaining. I googled it but couldn't find anything because I assumed that Hailee had issued a public statement against him, so I wasn't sure if I was missing something or not. That is a little skeevy if it's happened twice.

Tbh I probably won't buy the set if it's MCU-based. I generally only buy the comic sets and my attachment is to the comic book FF. I'd like a comic-book FF team to match the X-Men minifigs and Daily Bugle Spider-Man characters. An MCU Torch will stand out if you put him next to the Daily Bugle Spider-Man, Firestar, or X-Mansion's Iceman. And I have little interest in the MCU, especially future MCU movies, including the FF movie after the Silver Surfer gender swap. I say this as a woman btw before I get accused of misogyny by anyone. Disney/Marvel needs to stop these bizarre recastings.
