11 mechs then! Nice

Unironically, I expect 2-3 of these to be mechs. Hopefully they at least make sense for the characters (like the War Machine mech), and that we get some cool new characters and/or variants (maybe some X-Men? Brown Wolverine, perhaps?). A Cable mech would actually go hard (bulky mechanical left arm, ridiculously oversized gun, brickbuilt pouches everywhere, etc!), though it is a less likely possibility.

I assume that ten of those are Marvel and one is DC (Jonkler mech?)!

In seriousness, I assume that one of these will be the CA:CW set (probably airport battle).

I swear to God if I see another Groot,Venomized Captain America's @ss or a Spider Car Ima go nuts or crazy like an Aslume patient if you will.

A Spider-Gwen car is a distinct possibility, since we got cars for the other two of the Spider-Trio (Miles and Peter). 🫤

No, that would be the 4+ Thanoscopter!

The fact they haven’t done this yet is a damn shame :laugh_hard:

11 sets sounds like a huge wave! Maybe they just merged it with the usual Spidey March wave

Since Gwen was in the Peter car, I could see them doing like... Venom car

Minisuperheroes today received the whole August wave today, so I have to imagine we’ll start seeing reviews pretty soon. Dunno how much we’ll find out from this, but I’m at least looking forward to seeing the Milano and the Benatar together.

Gwenom maybe? They love Venomised variants but a Venomised ghost-spider has precedent, and could be pretty rad as a minifig.

If we can't get either comic Spider Mechs (SP//dr or Leopardon) highly doubtful we'd see any legitimate Venom variants either

So I hear your actual comic variant that would make for a cool figure, and raise you... Venomized Sandman

Fateful on Instagram says 11 sets for Superheroes in January

Can't believe we're getting a Batman set this January. Groundbreaking news (watch me still be wrong about this)

@Agent Kallus, there another Venom thing you'd like to see? Something of an equestrian nature?

A Venom car could actually be interesting if they lean fully into the concept and give the car a face with a giant mouth and tongue, lots of tendrils, etc; just a regular car in black and white (which is more likely, given how plain the Venom mechs are) would be boring.

Gwenom would actually be a cool and new Minifig/character, and not a reuse of the same ‘figs that we have been getting for a while, so that is obviously off the table!

Equestrian? Like a (Venom) Horse? A Venomised (Venom) Horse, Venom Horse? No that's absurd . Ah who am I kidding, I love absurd .

But if Venom 3 isn't gonna be him fighting and then joining forces with Spider-Man ( Preferably Garfield as that would've made the most sense) then I suppose Venom Horse is the only way to go. The ONLY way!!

But the Morbster was included in a set post Morbing so it's possible we'll get some more symbiotes post Venom 3. Of course a Lego Venom horse would make my month ( my year should hopefully be made in celebration Japan) but TLG are probably too cowardly to embrace our new god (Venom Horse).

According to exabricks, there’s indeed a CA:CW airport battle set coming, priced at $100

The AoU opening battle set is $100, and includes eight Minifigs and a Hulk; five of these are reuses/overlaps (Cap, Tony, Nat, Thor (new cape), HYDRA soldier), with Hawkeye and Hulk being exclusive.
As such, I can see the airport battle having a similar breakdown: New Iron Man Mk. 46, New Cap (torso print), Wanda (Endgame battle reuse), Spider-Man (Sanctum reuse), Falcon (Avengers Tower reuse), Vision (reuse, but with new legs and cape), New Bucky (torso print, reused tactical legs), New Hawkeye (torso print, reused legs), New Black Widow (new torso, reused legs), Black Panther (possibly reused from Shuri’s lab, despite the set being retired); I can see War Machine and Ant-Man being skipped, as they need at least three new prints each (helmet, torso, legs).
Ten Minifigs seems a bit optimistic, given that the AoU battle set included three of the same Minifig, but a Bigfig is probably worth 2-3 regular Minifigs, and characters like Clint and Nat can be made with only a single new print each. Additionally, we could get repeats of some of the characters (along with any missing ones) in an expansion set later in the year.

AoU battle new element total: 10 (counting Iron Man and the HYDRA soldier)
CA:CW airport battle hypothetical new element total: 11

I’m glad to hear a more concrete rumor.

Sounds like a perfect set in the making, so I’ll lower my expectations, lol. But it’ll be a guaranteed purchase anyway they strike it. In the worst case scenario, we still get a new Mark 46 and Bucky.

I think it's more likely that he gets the buildable figure treatment again. Him growing big is pretty iconic to the scene and adds a lot of playability. At the very least, they could throw in a microfigure without breaking the budget. A regular minifig is more likely to be passed, though.

Curious if the Airport set appeals to anyone who's been in the theme long enough to have the old sets?

The August wave is tough for me to justify (though I'm tempted to get the new Hulk and a second leviathan after the Tower set.) I'll be surprised if the new Civil War set is better than the old one with the Antman buildable fig, and curious whether anyone with existing figs from that movie really want a new one.

I have the old airport battle set and yeah I don't really care about the new one, if they spiced it up with DC characters based on the hit show 'Young Justice' then that'd be another story. In fact what if rather than an airport battle it was a martian bioship? Now that would something!

But keeping things *Ahem* marvelous, since this set is bound to include a big ant-man, I'd like a set with a big Sentinel. X-Men sets should hopefully exist beyond just the overpriced jet and the mansion.

Maybe he could be the centrepiece of the build, with crates, some flames, and a broken airplane wing surrounding him? I can also see the new curved clear stand piece being attached to his back (like Surtur) for Spidey’s ESB move.
