Also, only one CA:CW set is confirmed, but I suspect that if we get any additional ones, they will include reuses from the airport battle in addition to new 'figs, in order to offset the cost of the new prints.

A “water truck” with exploding function, and bits of debris with clear sticks for posing? IMO, that would be a good set, but as a less expensive add-on, not a $100 main display piece.
doclord Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 I have a feeling we may see something unique with Black Panther. Don't know why. Or the main draw of the set will be a new Iron Man and War Machine for collectors, as per the norm.

But I agree we aren't seeing them all in a single set- I'd be surprised if we saw even this many across the two. 7 hours ago, Agent Kallus said: If not partially giant-man what would the build be for then $100 set be? A combination of airport terrain and a small quinjet, probably, similar to the first one.

Lego Nostalgia Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Jonkler said it best in Zack Snyder's Justice League, ''We live in a society, where Quicksilver is a distant memory, isn't that right, Man ?'' We'll never get him now at this stage, I remember being excited when I saw the leaked Torso but I guess that was fake. And I hope we get a new Ant-Man figure, if not then idk why, a Micro Figure as always.

Me when Quicksilver and a new Ultron aren’t in the rumored set list: “Next time, baby.” (The irony of that quote is 100% intentional).

Not that specific torso, but I suspect that we will get a new Quicksilver in the next couple of years, as a Battle of Sokovia set is a pretty obvious follow-up the AoU opening battle set(s)!
BrickBob Studpants Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 According to exabricks, there‘s a new type of set coming next year: buildable logos. There‘s gonna be a Marvel and a SW one Could be pretty neat to add to a collection! Hopefully they make one for every current licensed theme
HadesKing28 Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 Buildable Marvel logo coming in early 2025 according to exabricks An odd choice, but maybe it comes with some cool minifigs to display around it.
BrickBob Studpants Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 Giancarlo Esposito‘s character appears quite prominently in the trailer for CA:BNW, despite seemingly only having been added in reshoots. Too bad the set likely won‘t be updated to reflect that change
Agent Kallus Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 TLG could always make a Ross head and then reuse it for their next TFA Han. Or I suppose they could reuse the head he has in the UCS Falcon for the Ross from this movie.
benderisgreat Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 New Cap trailer gives good look at Sams new suit, which let's face it won't be nearly as detailed as Cmf Sam. Curious to see how Red Hulk will look with new bigfig mold.

Honestly I don't see it coming with any - if these big 'item' sets come with figures, it's always just one reuse, like with Mjolnir and Cap's Shield - and other times they don't at all, like with either of the gauntlets.
Themadpatter Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 Is there any expected time frame to hear about the X Mansion? Super hyped

Super hyped Iirc it's gonna be a November set, so the earliest I could imagine any official hints or reveals would be October ( or the month before if I've misremembered which month it's due to release). Unofficial information is less predictable. Edited July 12, 2024 by Agent Kallus
Classic_Spaceman Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 (edited) Just watched the trailer - It looks they are leaning into it being a spy thriller-type movie similar to CA:TWS, which is a good choice IMO! Sam appears to have two suits in the trailer: the main ‘stealth suit’ one with more dark blue, and one with more white (though not the same as the FatWS suit, as it lacks the cowl). - During the battle between the Japanese air force and the American 5th Fleet, Tiamut’s hand is visible in the background! Maybe that is where the rumoured Adamantium is coming from? Regardless, I like seeing Eternals acknowledged and continuing Tiamut’s body in the ocean as a plot point! - The Leader is well hidden in the trailer, but he is visible at 1:05 (note fedora guy’s green skin). - The female Secret Service agent who stands behind Sam’s left shoulder during his conversation with President Ross appears to be working with Sabra, and they are both on one of the ships that Japan attacked. Given the rumour that Sabra will be CIA, could she actually end up being an antagonist (since the CIA is controlled by Val at this point)? Also, that head tilt was creepy! - It is covered by title cards, but there is a shadow of a woman fighting a taller (presumably) man in a jacket - Maybe Sabra vs. Sam? If it is just a background character, or Sabra/female Secret Service agent vs. Moff Gideon, then why only show obscured shadows? - Lots of destruction around cherry blossoms, and they can be seen when Red Hulk slams Cap’s shield into the ground, so it looks like we are getting Sam vs. Red Hulk in Japan (likely round 1, since their final fight is definitely at the White House). - Also during the Japan scene (1:30), the back of a somewhat interestingly-designed jet (almost like the AoU Quinjet) can be seen flying in front of Sam - Could this the the jet that appears in the set? - Sam and Torres are part of the battle between the U.S. and Japan near Tiamut’s body; I am curious to see how this plays out, and whether it leads to a rift forming between Sam and Ross. 10 hours ago, BrickBob Studpants said: According to exabricks, there‘s a new type of set coming next year: buildable logos. Hopefully they make one for every current licensed theme Do we know if these will be part of the Marvel and Star Wars lines respectively, or the Art line? We already know the names of the six January Star Wars sets, and we are getting Art sets in January as well, so I am leaning towards the latter. Edit: Apparently Ruth Bat-Seraph (Sabra) is not CIA but a former Black Widow turned “high-ranking U.S. government official who has the trust of President Ross”, according to an official synopsis. This description makes her seem even more suspicious, IMO (why bring up trust unless she is going to betray Ross?), and her having been a Black Widow means that she will definitely have a fight (maybe the shadow scene?).
