That would actually be really funny to include in such a set.

I just don't know that Asgard's enough to warrant a D2C, or more specifically, if Thor's enough. One of the big three of the MCU he may be, but he's always been #3 in that triumvirate. I think the only non-spidey hero who could handle a solo D2C is MCU Iron Man with the Malibu Mansion/armory. I don't see why Thor wouldn't be enough. He's become a huge fan favorite since Ragnarok and Infinity War, Asgard is one of the MCU's most recognizable locations after the Avengers Tower and we've already gotten an 18+ set based on Thor's hammer. On top of that we've already seen several adult themed sets (D2C or otherwise) based on a variety of different Marvel heroes. Captain America has his shield. Black Panther has a bust. Rocket and Groot each have buildable figures. Star-Lord has his helmet. Wolverine has his claws. The Guardians have two UCS-style ships. And as someone else mentioned Doctor Strange has a modular which despite incorporating elements of Infinity War it is still a set primarily focused on Doctor Strange as the central character first and foremost. Lego really isn't the nanny state some think they are. After all the mental gymnastics on here surrounding why a modular X-Mansion would never happen, it doesn't hurt to keep an open mind.

Honestly, if you get a little creative with the scenes, you end up with a killer figure lineup for Asgard Other people have already mentioned Cap and Hulk, which would leave only Hawkeye, Widow and Stark out of the original Avengers Loki obviously is a big deal by himself now too Rocket was with Thor during the Endgame time heist, so that could be an excuse to include him Plus, Thor's supporting cast is maybe the biggest untapped potential in the LEGO MCU sets in terms of brand new minfigures - just off the top of my head, we've never had: Odin, Heimdall, Sif, Volstagg, Fandral, Hogun, any of the Frost Giants or Dark Elves, Skurge, Frigga And then of course they can repeat characters, like Hela (who would be a big draw, imo), Korg/Meik, Valkyrie I think that a Malibu Mansion would be cool, but it's a wayyyy less memorable location (at least imo) and has less opportunity for a minifigure lineup besides just more Iron Man suits. Not as many other characters appear there as they do in Asgard, and even disregarding the explicit canon of who has actually been there, there aren't many Iron Man characters who aren't made yet in LEGO

BrickBob Studpants Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Figure-wise, an Asgard set definitely has the most potential. I mean, 80% of the missing Infinity Saga characters people frequently bring up are Thor-related Even on my list, 8/11 are! (Odin, Sif, the Warriors Three, Heimdall, Malekith, and Kurse, the others being Kaecilius, Kraglin, and Ego). The build would be a bit trickier, given how large the place is. Maybe some forced-perspective trickery could help? Or making it microscale to begin with

Go microscale for the exterior of the palace but keep the interior rooms on the backside of the set in minifigure scale.

Because there’d have to be so many new minifigs, I would love if they did a few sets from the Thor movies you could put together to make a big Asgard like they have done with Hogwarts Exabricks just posted a pic of Iron Patriot - I’m guessing this is for the hall of armour next year Update: hall of armour comes with four figures plus Igor, two of them are Iron Patriot and Endgame Rescue! Edited August 12, 2024 by HadesKing28
poisonbricks Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 (edited) Edited to avoid being redundant, HadesKing beat me to posting the hall of armour rumour here haha Iron Patriot and Rescue are really exciting! I wonder if the fixed MK6 will be reused from the Marvel logo set too, that'd be cool. Edited August 12, 2024 by poisonbricks
Legocentrico Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Mark 46, mark 6, Iron Patriot, Rescue :-O 2025 looks super exciting!!!
BrickBob Studpants Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 While I would’ve preferred new suits, updated versions of these two will be cool to get I guess the third figure is Tony (either in a suit or a shirt), so fingers crossed for a new suit as the fourth figure!

With the Wolverine video game from Insomniac coming soon, I wonder if we could expect any tie-in sets, although Spider-Man never got any tie-in sets. Just the exclusive minifigure. Lady Deathstrike, Sabretooth, Mystique, Omega Red, and Mr. Sinister are the main villains in that with protagonists Wolverine and Jean Grey, so it would be nice to see some comic or show sets featuring those characters that could technically cross-promote the video game as well. Wait, is that true? Spoilers! On a more serious note; where could I find legitimate info on the game? I've been really excited for it for a long time but haven't seen or heard anything after that teaser about a year ago (i believe) Regards, Mitch

A bit underwhelming IMO, because those suits aren't for Tony Stark, I wish we got the MK 4,27,31 that means 2 figures left, I fear they will be reuses. 3 hours ago, BrickBob Studpants said: While I would’ve preferred new suits, updated versions of these two will be cool to get I guess the third figure is Tony (either in a suit or a shirt), so fingers crossed for a new suit as the fourth figure! Scarilian Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Exabricks has also remarked on the Captain America 4 set: $55, 223 pieces. Red Hulk (Current mould, movable head), Ruth-bat Seraph, Falcon Torres, Captain America Sam Wilson (New wing mould similar to the CMF). December release date. Small fighter jet build with stud shooters. 18 minutes ago, Lego Nostalgia said: Always reuses with superheroes Iron Patriot is interesting though given that is from Iron Man 3... my hope is that this is teasing the figure will be reused for an Iron Man 3 Final Battle set and/or hopefully a Malibu Mansion set.

NXS7 Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Avengers Endgame final battle At least 7 figures, Falcon (looks like same suit as Avengers Tower), Wasp (same suit as Avengers Tower), Chitauri (at least one), Iron Spider (brand new) and Ant Man (FINALLY a new minifigure). Plus more currently unknown Builds include lots of portals, terrain and Avengers HQ ruins (from Exab)

There are a few variants of the plot, but the core story is the same with the major characters I listed before. There are subreddits dedicated to the leaks for this game if you Google it, but I'll pm you the storyline as well. 29 minutes ago, NXS7 said: Avengers Endgame final battle At least 7 figures, Falcon (looks like same suit as Avengers Tower), Wasp (same suit as Avengers Tower), Chitauri (at least one), Iron Spider (brand new) and Ant Man (FINALLY a new minifigure). Another reason to one day make a D2C on the compound.

I suspect that some the unnamed 2+ Minifigs will be villains, though I do hope that we get Ronin finally! Maybe this will depict the part when they are playing keep-away with the Nano Gauntlet? That would allow for a good amount of dynamic poses, as well as require less focus on the villains (freeing up space for Ronin and other new/updated heroes).

This is my suspicion too, that it'll be a uniform for the future X-Men who influence young Cable, which are Cyclops, Jean, Wolverine, Storm, and Morph. It would look really out of place for the X-Men stuck in Ancient Egypt (Xavier, Magneto, Rogue, Beast, Nightcrawler). In theory, they could wear the Morrison suits when the two teams are reunited in the present again but I'd hope not. The black leather look isn't well suited to animation imo. At most, I hope they're one-off uniforms, like an easter egg, the way the 70s/80s classic looks were in the S1 finale. And with Sabretooth and Lady Deathstrike being confirmed for S2, that increases their chances of appearing in sets. But then again, S1 focused on Mr. Sinister and Bastion and it doesn't seem likely we'll be getting either of them although Sabretooth and Deathstrike are definitely more high-profile villains. 2 minutes ago, HadesKing28 said: Or the Leader! To be fair, LEGO had the Mansion (and Blackbird, obviously!) in development since before the show released (Mansion Storm even has her ‘92 hair!), so we will probably not see any spoiler/explicitly S1-based sets until at least mid-2025. I do expect more X-Men sets, though, given the popularity of the series!

Odd.
