Me neither. I would love if they would bring back the Ankylosaurus for instance, though actually I really like the colour and wouldn´t mind if we would get the exact same one. Sadly he is expensive as hell (almost as expensive as the old goat). But yeah, very unlikely they would do the same colour again, so we can just hope for a new on that isn´t too colourful.

As for the T-Rex, that one and the Velociraptors beeing the main Antagonists we have seen many colours of them and I actually wouldn´t mind to get a wave without either of them.

Agreed. 

I am up for differnet dinosaurs other than Ptera, T-rex, Veloci, Atroci that shoud deserve recolor IG. Like Ankylo, Galli, Therizi, Gigan, Quezta, Pyror, that haven’t been recolored yet.

It feels like TLG is experimenting with this wave, trying out different marketing tactics i mean. Splitting the 2024 sets into two wave releases, which i am on board with that, and it looks like they are trying to make the sets that are actually released varied, like this wave is quite diverse have the 2 sets that already came out be on both ends of the collector spectrum, 4+ set and the collector skull, and the new sets will be the same that we are getting another set, building bumpy which will probably be catered more to children with the two bigger playsets for inbetweens and older collectors.

Also anyone remember when the set numbers for the three sets were first leaked, i believe the leaker said we should be excited for the two bigger sets? That with the names which are either a dream or very coincidental, are quite promising to me that hopefully they are TLW sets!

Also, if these were based off Chaos Theory, Stegosaurus and T Rex would be weird choices in my opinion, considering the supposed main antagonist dinosaur will be the Allosaurus, but only time will tell

I’m pretty sure Lego is experimenting  with ALL themes, not just Jurasic World alone, when it comes to marketing. It seems sales decline just bit last year, according to Jay’s Brick Blog. But it’s pretty odd to see splitting up waves for this year - two sets for January and three for summer. Im curious if their marketing stragetic goes well. 

I see wo buidlable sets this year - T-rex fossil and Bumpy.  And one new dinosaur speices this year, Stegosaurus. We got one new speices - Brachiosaurus - last year.

Really? Huh. Strange, since last year‘s wave was one of the strongest we‘ve had so far, in my opinion. Of course quality doesn‘t automatically result in sales, but still surprising to hear

I think Stegosaurus will be made on the same way as Ankylosaurus. It will have Ankylosaur's bottom part and will have a new top part. That is why they are on the one wave (IMPO)

I think this was more a general comment, for their sales in general, not JW - since they don´t publish any information about how good themes are doing aside from the 5 themes they mention every half year, it would be hard to make such a claim anyways.

Since the Ankylosaurus is going to be brickbuild, and they rather tend to use less parts to built the dinosaurs, I have my doubts that will be the case. I just hope the stegosaurus gets movable legs.

Oh, i am not talking about sales for Jurassic World more spied if ally. Just general sales for all themes. I’m pretty sure Lego does experimenting different things for all themes, including JW.  I would understand why they keep changing marketing strategics.

I can basically live with every new dinosaur they design as long as it looks good and especially actually exists. Some more diversity instead of more raptors and T-Rex would be great.

Agreed. I’m pretty tired of seeing Veloiratpor (not general raptors, mind you), Pteranodon and T-re being recolored more often. Tricera, and Dilo have been recolored  few times. I’m open to Atri, Pyro, Gali, and Ankylo. I’m aware that Atricoratpors had been recolored in Dominion sets and i understand they don’t show up in Jurassic Park sets (becuase they ddin’t exis in the movie) last year.  So I am okay wiht Atroci show up in new colors in near future. 

And I’m totally okay with TLG improving/updating molds for creatures. For example, Dilo and Raptors’ sizes and arms for I-Rex (the hybrid dino with new arms showed in 2020).

It has been pretty quiet here for some time, does anyone know when the Instagram set photo leaks will be posted? Isn't it usually around this time that they are revealed?

Well the last post was just wednesday, but I think once there is something to talk about people will do so ;). We always just know when leaks are posted, once they are, so all we can do is wait and see. 

Anyways, I would guess it won´t be that long, and actually it shouldn´t be that long to the official reveal either.

No idea. But I would assume we would see offical reveals in May. As we get closer to its offical reveals, we would see juicy leaks. 

But I might be wrong if they are meant to be revealed later than May.

Yeah. I am just excited to see image of Stegosaurus. It’s all I am very eager. And I’m quite curious to see what black-and-blue T-rex really looks like.

Yeah, I probably should have use specifics. 

Other than the Nth T.Rex recolour, I have great interest in seeing.... (In no particular order)

1): A Ceratosaurus mold in the JP3 pattern

2): A retooled Velociraptor mold in the Mantah Corp, yellowish-green pattern (Bonus if it comes in pairs)

3): A Mosasaurus mold in the JW pattern

4): A new Gallimimus in a teel pattern

5): A new Ankylosaurus in a white and grey pattern

But that's just me being a wee bit wishful
