Also there is no small raptor in this set which is weird, since the desctiptions were really accurate, except for only this part.

The raptor is there, but eradicated from nearly all the other main photos.

Shame there doesn’t seem to be any articulation with the stegosaurus’ head, jaw or tail though 😥

I don’t think the veggie-sauruses get enough love from Lego, to be quite honest.

Just about to say the same thing unfortunately, its a shame but it is what it is.

Allosaurus also has a blind right eye like in BABR/CT which is a good detail.

Box arts look bloody fantastic!

And im not sure if its just because im on the Australian site but it says pre-order and be shipped by june 1st, so im assuming thats the AUS release date in general?

The 3 sets look great overall! Bumpy looks cute, the Stegosaurus set has good builds, though if I'm being totally honest, the Stegosaurus itself is kinda disappointing and I can't believe there's no articulation in the tail. Why was it not done like the Ankylosaurus? I'm still glad we're finally getting one though. The Allosaurus set looks great and the new head mold is excellent.

Not on American Lego.com, the new sets are shown thg no pre-order and will be released in August. So it’s nto realy general. I think Australia aand Europe for June.

With the official reveal I'm even more of a fan of the sets.

The Allosaurus set is actually $90 which is great. The unknown character is just a regular guard. I like the truck even more after seeing it from more angles, and it's nice that it has some more room inside. It's also really great that you can store the side vehicles on the truck, you won't be able to fit both the quad and the Allo inside, well at least not in a official way, I'd probably find a way to fit it in there somehow. The trailer from the description appers to have a function to open the cage by pushing a lever, so that could be fun.  Now I'm relly thinking about getting this set.

The stegosaurus set felt perfect at first, but they somehow made it even better. you can fit both figures in the front, so that's great. It does apper to have some interesting stuff on the inside, with I think a bed and some fun stickered detail on the wall. All of the terrain builds can be cannected, which is great, since I'm not a fan of having a lot of small side builds being just all around the place. Now I'm definitelly going to get this set at some point.

The buildable bumpy actually does look quite neat in some angles, especially in that one life style image with the plant. But I'm not interested in getting her either way.

Now all of the minifigures look great, They all have really accurate torsos which look just great.

There is still one detail in the sego set that I'm not sure on what it means.  On the tree there is a heart with I think C + D(or maybe it is an O i'm not too sure) I could see there being a Y + S or K + B, but I have no idea on what the C and D could stand for, except that maybe the D could be for Darius. But either way it's not really like a big deal, but I'm still interested in that.

I just hope that parents don’t cancel the stegosaurus set because of the box number and piece count

The sets blew me away, the allosaurus looks PERFECT! It looks so damn good probated wrists but that’s a staple that I doubt LEGO will fix, the rest of set is also pretty cool and 90$ instead of 100$ is a win, the stegosaurus set might be better overall, but I can’t deny that I’m a little frustrated with stegosaurus, the plates don’t feel right the tail is too short and I’m just sad that they didn’t reuse the ankylo body structure they had it RIGHT THERE

Why parents should cancel Stegosaurus set becuase of box number? It doesn’t make sense.

I could understand that the price is little high due to piece count.

Looking at the tabletop photos of the sets has completely sold me on the Allosaurus - very similar colouring to Isla Nublar graphic and I actually don’t mind that it’s Rex sized!

We could get a teenage Allosaurus with the Indoraptor body eventually but I’m not taking any chances and will buy it as soon as there’s a reasonable discount

Sorry I think I went too crazy on the 69 that I forgot all sets have it 💀my b

Since we have Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Raptor babies, i feel it’s long overdue for other dinosaur babies, such as Stegosaurus, Pteranodon, T-rex, Gallimimus!

I really like this tiny wave. It introduces two very desirable dinosaurs, and surpsingly includes all main characters from Chaos Theory without any repeats (which this theme is known for).

Bumpy is easily the weakest set of this wave tho. It does a great job of looking like a Pokemon, but it's a poor representation of a dinosaur. There's also just nothing particularly thrilling about it.

Stegosaurus Discovery, on the other hand, is my favourite set out of those. There's a lot going on here, and I like what I see. Minifigures are cool, the dinosaurs are great (even though Stegosaurus could've used a little more articulation). The builds are great too — the truck, the tree and the campsite work well together.

Allosaurus Transport Truck is really good too. The additional guard is a surprise, but not an unwelcome one. Allosaurus looks really good. The build has a unique look and colour scheme, which I like.

Honestly, I am kinda disappointed in the Sets. When I look back at the T-Rex and the Raptors, those are really great Dinosaurs, Triceratops and Ankylosaurus, Gallimimus, Stygimoloch, Dilophosaurus (the movable one, not the statue) also. Last years Brachiosaurus was already very disappointing without movable legs and the big gap to move the throat. It is just much more conspicious that with other Dinosaurs - and with the Allosaurus it is quite visible too, though not as much as with the Brachiosaurus. Aside from that the legs seem a bit to big to me and the colour just isn´t doing great in my eyes.

I am very happy that the Stego got movable legs but sadly it seems like that is the only thing that can move, not the jaw, the head nor the tail. I don´t know I just expected more but I think the biggest issue I have is the plates the middle ones seem a bit to big, but overall the biggest issue is that it is just to plain, the Stego would hugely benefit from prints for the plates.

Altering reading some disappointing comments in regards to Stegosaurs’s immovable tail or head, have you ever submitted your feedback to Lego (through Lego.com) before?

I already turned my feedback in for Brachiosaurs’s immovable legs before. I feel it’s best to share your thoughts with Lego and that dinosaur molds might eed to be improved.

All 3 look nice.

Seems I'll get the Stegosaurus set for sure. Maybe use the van parts to upsize the truck from 76948.

Baby ankylosaurus, might be too cute to resist.

Allosaurus, maybe? If goal is getting atleast 1 dino of each.. then buy, sooner or later.

My thoughts

Allo set - this one was what i was looking forward to least. I was excited for the new mould, but hearing how it was just a truck, I’m not really a fan of JP sets when they’re just Dino’s and vehicles… in saying that, I really like this one??? Not sure what it is, but it’s great. Allo looks good, the eye caught me off guard and looks weird at first, but it’ll grow on me

edit: just saw on images the Allo mimics the show, with having one orange eye and a “blind” milky white eye - I love the eyes now haha. Great attention to detail

Stego - very happy with this one too! Love that there’s more set pieces outside of just a vehicle. But like others have said, it’s a bit sad the Stego doesn’t have articulation, but oh well.

Bumpy - Ankylo is one of my favourite Dino’s, and this is really cute! Don’t really have much else to say

overall, I like this wave! Much more exciting than the Jan ‘25 wave earlier this year. I also like how they just did 3 sets which are all rather good, it makes the wave a lot less overwhelming IMO, tho that’s just personal preference.

I quote myself becuase i forgot to mention.

Other day, after submitting my feedback, I got a response from Lego team. They said they appreicate my honest feedbackk regarding Brachiosaurus’s legs and size of non-avian dinosaurs.

So we sha wait and see if they actual take it over to designers. I can’t offer you a glimpse of hope…

I don't see much talk of this but is it bothering anyone else that LEGO has decided to take a page out of Mattel's playbook and stop painting the claws on their dinosaurs? This is a trend that I hate and it's really disappointing to see LEGO being cheap and sketchy like this when they already charge a premium for these sets and continue to make record profits every year. They can absolutely afford to paint the tiny claws on all their dinosaurs.

Not only dinosaurs. I think the dont’ bother to paint stripes down tiger’s back (where the rare two studs on it) for City’s upcoming Jungle subtheme. I feel that Lego is getting lazier and lazier - mos of 18+ sets have stickers instead of printed pieces (such as Artemis I, Medieval Twn Square and other sets I could not remember).

What’s up with Lego lately.

I'm thinking about submitting some dino related feedback to Lego too, y'all think I should do it?

Sure why not the worst that can happen is they ignore you. Tell them the Pteranodon should be able to land and not just always be in flight.

I think they missed the opportunity to make an Apatosaurus by making the brachi with removable legs they could have reused them, maybe even use the smaller legs for the hind legs of a Parasaurolophus

It's not laziness though, that's always the go-to complaint but LEGO isn't lazy, it's worse: they're stingey. They're sacrificing quality to save tiny fractions of a cent for each set to maximize already consistently high profits and they've been doing this across the board.

Finally we've got the Stegosaurus. I love it, I only wish it had red plates like it has in The Lost World. I'm sure they'll do Anniversary sets in 2027, but four years is long to wait to get an even more accurate movie Stego, so I might have to go with this one in the meantime.

I remember I was very disappointed with the Brachio on this forum when it was unveiled, as I wanted movable legs. I have now finally come to understand why they didn't do it. Or I think I know the reason why. I looked at my brachio the other day and realized that if it had had movable legs, the bulk and the size of its body would've been much smaller and flatter. I now absolutely love it as it is, with the roundness and size of its tummy/body. Hence, I might also grow to love this Stego, despite the plates not being my desired colours.

As they've given us both Ankylo and Stego the last few years, I now only have a small list of dinos remaining on my list that I absolutely need them to make: Parasaurolophus, Spinosaurus, and an updated Gallimimus. The Mosasaur is sadly just too big to realistically make in moulded lego form, but I'd love a Plesiosaur. Though it hasn't been in the movies yet, they did do concept art for them.

Sure you can! It’s worth for your shot. I like submitting my feedbacks on sets.

Yeah it’s the worst that the could ignore our helpful feedback. But they might realize upon noticing the common problems like Brachiosaurus’s legs or Stegosaurus’s tail if we submit our feedbacks.

For me, the Lego Brachiosaurus as a playable figure for kids etc is impractical without the basic articulation, however as it is, the sculptin, printing, size and colours of it look beautiful, so hopefully in the future TLG can revisit this species and redo the body to allow for movable legs, they can at least reuse the head and neck molds this time 🤣
