Kinda sucks that you guys have to wait a couple months, they are everywhere over here

So I was working on a jurassic park visitor centre, on stud.io. It would be full UCS/MBS scale, but came to the realisation that if it did get enough votes on Lego ideas, they wouldn't approve it due to the play scale one existing. What are you guys thoughts? Is there a chance it could still become a thing?

No chance at all - they don´t allow Product ideas based on IPs they are currently selling. So Jurassic Park/World wouldn´t be allowed. However, if you decide to still work on it I am sure a lot people here would love to see the result.

Thanks, now I know not to try something that will never happen, hopefully they make something like that themselves some day.

With the USC Sets for Star Wars, and Sets of the same scale for Harry Potter and other Themes (that often only get one set) it seems quite probable that this would happen. I am actually waiting for it to happen and am still undecided whether I should get the actual Set. Probably I will skip it and wait for a big, detailed version of it.

Cheers for the heads up mate! I wonder if thats 2 extra sets or 2 from the 9 we already know of. Either way they most likely wont be based off the new film, so i would guess more Chaos Theory? Or like maybe JW 10th Anniversary like you guys were discussing before? Im quite intrigued! 😁

They kinda have to be part of the 9 we heard of because those were said to cover the entire year. I doubt the leaker somehow managed to miss those 2

So, now the question is how many of the remaining 7 will be based on the new movie  My guess would be 5. The waves for JWFK and JWD both included a set based on the first movie, so there’s a chance they’ll do that again, plus it’s the 10th anniversary of JW, so they might release a set based on that film as well.

Or they simply do a JW anniversary set instead of a JP one, leaving us with 6 sets based on the upcoming film ^^

I won’t be surprised if one of two Janaury sets will be another dinosaur skull but that would be cool!

 

I’m still not sure about the 10th annivesary of the first Jurasic World movie… i don’t think they will do Jurassic Park set as we already have 30th annivesary wave last year. The one JP set in Fallen Kingdom set is for 25th anniveary. And we had a Breakout set in 2022 that was not exaclty 30th anniveary YET until last year 

….Actually…. I think we had so-called ‘5th anniveary” set in 2020 for the first Jurassic World movie. - I-rex vs Ankylo set. So I gues it might make sense for 10th anniveary for JW next year.

I feel like they'll focus on more Chaos Theory stuff since striking whilst the iron is still hot seems like a logical choice considering that it's pretty successful last time I remember, and with some leaks suggesting that Suchomimus will be the next big bad dino of season 2, it's bound to get the same treatment that Allo has gotten recently. As for what dino will be in the other set, that's anybody's guess

Not that suprising, since we got the same last year and also would fit to my guess what Sets we will get:

I am wondering if two sets in January wave ae “less” exciting since there won’t be some new molds jsut like we have one this past January. Just a bunch of recolored dinosaurs.

Same here, such as adult and bab Anylosaurus, Gallimimus, Atricoratpor, Pyroratpor, et.  I’m fairly tired of T-rex Triceratops, Pteranodon, and Velociratpor themselves.

Yeah, likely there won‘t be any new dinos in that wave since the sets for the new movie will devour a vast chunk of the budget  The JWD wave included an impressive array of new dino species, so hopefully they can repeat that! Of course, that depends on what dinos will star in the movie itself

Exactly, spot on. 

2023 wave only has one new dino (Brachiosaurs)

2024 has one new dino (Stegosaurus) and just one new head for Allosaus. 

So I could not see how likely they put new dinos in January 2025 Wve. I will be happy to collect recolored existing dinosaurus!

I would like to see a new Ankylosaurus, though if it will be the same colour as the buildable one, I wouldn´t like that very much honestly. wonder if they would use a new mould for the head, or just use the old one.
