Oh yeah, that's definitely gonna be made into a set, just gotta debate on what dino it could come with tho

I hope so, cause it really does jist look fantastic! Could come with anything, but i think it would be nice to have a Parasaurolophus!

What’s the most affordable way to get these? I’ve never seen these in my country (AUS) so I assume you’d need to import?

Really depends mate, im also from Aus lol, i've seen them in Big W, Target, coles sometimes, Kmart might have them too. I think you can buy certain ones straight off the Lego store as well, not too sure though. Also bookstores, Dymocks or QBD Books.

I've gotten the magazines from Woolworths as well before. Haven't personally seen the magazines at Big  W or QBD, but have gotten the bigger books from them before. Those cost a lot more though. The magazines I have only seen on rare occasions but they are a lot more affordable.
Will keep my eye out for the JP ones.

That's interesting, I thought the Magazines were just a European thing, but it's nice to hear they're more widespread and available in Australia too.

They mainly are i believe, the proper books are everywhere, magazines a bit rarer, i dont think most are translated, but im not too sure, i've only seen them a few times but i've never bought any magazines

When do guys think we'll hear more about the T-Rex skeleton set or even get pics?

Hard to say, since we sometimes get leaks surprisingly early and others we have to wait a long time for. Given it will likely be D2C and Jurassic Park got leaks rather late compared to other themes lately I would guess it will take a while.

There are some new information on the summer sets, I found them on brickmerge, so they should be legit.

76970 - 339 pcs 7+

76972 - 286 pcs 6+

76973 - 582 pcs 7+

76975 - 199 pcs 5+

76976 - 984 pcs 8+

They don'y really give us that much information, and with Jurassic you can expect that this could be all we will know untill the official reveal(but let's still hope that this won't be the case)

This also feels like how the movie waves usually look like, so for that comparison I even added the sets from the dominion wave that match these type of piece counts:

76975 - $20 Atrociraptor chase, 76972 - $35 Blue and beta dinosaur capture , 76970 - $50 Plane ambush, 76973 - $100 T-rex and atrociraptor breakout, 76976 - $140 Giganotosaurus set(it does also match with the previous 2 Jurassic world movie waves ). So with that this definitely is for Rebirth

Awesome find! Cheers for sharing mate, hopefully we get even more info!

Btw Mantax, i like how you compared sets at the bottom! Though usually set numbers go from lowest number being a smaller set to biggest number a biggest set from my experience, with exception to juniors, d2c sets etc, so 76975 gets me intrigued as it is the second biggest number and only has 199 pieces, makes me wonder if it'll have big molds that drive up the PPP, only time will tell! Even the Brachiosaurus set had 512 pieces, so unless its just a small set in general with a small dino out of the number order pattern, (which that id a little flimsy as it is tbh lol) then i am thinking we might get something massive! Perhaps two big dinos, that is the plot of Rebirth after all, finding the 3 biggest creatures from land, air and sea

Also worth noting that the sets are releasing in June.

Kinda weird since the previous movie tie-in waves were all released in late April, but that explains why we‘re only hearing about them now

That never really was a rule though, and while in general there were waves where you could say this worked (like the Jurassic Park one), there are enough examples where it didn´t and after a bigger set a smaller Set came with a higher number again. In the end that can have several reasons of course, like they decided to add more sets after they planned the first but overall and especially if we look at other themes too I wouldn´t put to much thought on the numbers itself.

The problem with your guess here is though, that as you mentioned above the sets are somewhat sorted by piece count, but not by price, and there are more than enough examples where higher priced Sets with lower piece counts got a smaller Set number.

Since it was rumoured to be 9 Sets this year and we got two in January and will get the T-Rex D2C Set, and the 5 Sets we got the numbers above, we are still missing one. Wondering if that one will be a 4+ Set, since we have non this year yet.

The sets for the first film were released in May though and all films had a June release, while Rebirth is planned for July - so a later Set release isn´t that surprising really.

Not really—the movie releases a month later than the previous ones, so it's only fair the sets do too.

Actually, I just noticed how weirdly the biggest July movies are treated by LEGO: Superman isn't even getting a set, Fantastic Four is getting only one, and Jurassic World is getting a whole wave.

Yeah, i meant more as in a pattern that i've seen throughout the years, i can only really speak for this JW theme however, as its the only theme i really collect and dont follow the other themes too much.

Also my bad i reread my post and i worded it bad, i meant that generally from my experience, of course not solid and probably varys from different themes like you mentioned, that set numbers relate to price of the set, so the smaller set numbers generally are the smallest and cheapest set, vice versa. Thats why i think 76975 being the second biggest set numer with only 199 pieces suggests that it is one of the more expensive sets, and if thats true, means it probably has an awful PPP, (which these sets are infamous for lol) leading to larger pieces, and hopefully a larger Dinosaur.

But i do understand what you mean though mate, it is all speculation and isnt too accurate with the continuity of Lego set numbers skipping numbers or having them mix-matched, so hopefully we get a good set at the end of the day!

Also i thought the exact thing about there being 9 leaked sets, perhaps one got cancelled? Or it is a 4+/retail exclusive like you said

And that is just not the case. If we take a look at all the old waves, you can see that they are rather sorted by piece count, than price. Of course they could sort them after price for this wave anyways, but I don´t see why they should change it for this theme here, since in other themes it still seems to be the same as before - but as mentioned above there seems to be no real rule behind all of it and we also have seen waves starting from the lowest piece count going higher and then dropping low again to ad an other higher Set - that beeing said my best guess for how they are doing it might be that they maybe start with some sets they want make and are the most important ones, of different sizes. And aftwerwards they plan additional Sets they want to do. But in the end, all we can do is guess and it doesn´t really matter anyways - and we will likely not get any infos on the sets in the near future, but the prices could drop like anytime.

Yeah, retail exclusive would also make sense, but I would actually be surprised if we don´t get a 4+ Set this year. But anyways, time will tell.
