Yeah, only time will tell, i hope we get as many sets as possible so one of each would be the best lol, hopefully we can get set names asap! Though that info would probably be heavily guarded for the film right?

Well, retailers usually get them earlier though, but we have seen with the January wave that we still had to wait a long time - and given other themes already have prices and set names/describtions of some sets it seems the same goes for the summer wave of JW.

Summary of recent Jurassic World: Rebirth leaks,

 

Here is a summary of the recent ongoings from various spaces, set photos, etc. I’d post this on the Jurassic Park subreddit but don’t want to get flamed xD

 

# Official Plot Synopsis

 

* Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet's ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in **isolated equatorial environments^(1)** with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The **three most colossal creatures^(2)** within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.

* Covert operations expert Zora Bennett, contracted to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world's three most massive dinosaurs across land, sea, and air. When Zora's operation intersects with a civilian family whose **boating expedition was capsized by marauding aquatic dinos^(3)**, they all find themselves stranded on an island where they come **face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery^(4)** that's been hidden from the world for decades.

 

# Summary of Leaks

 

* **1**: Rebirth will introduce a new island that was used for all kinds of different experiments. Like the Velociraptors in Jurassic Park 3, a lot of the dinosaurs featured will have new designs that are more colourful and less crocodilian.

* **2**: The big three are the Quetzalcoatlus, Mosasaurus, and Titanosaurus.

   * The Quetzalcoatlus will have a colourful beak like a tropical bird.

   * The Titanosaurus will have a small sail on the back of its neck.

* **3**: This may be a Purussaurus according to merchandise leaks. Purrussaurus is like a big crodocile.

* **4**: The “sinister secret” is not a hybrid or some sort of human dinosaur cross but some kind of mutant dinosaur. Further leaks suggest it will have long forearms and an extra limb or two that are not supposed to be there.

* There will be a scene from the first Jurassic Park book in the movie. Leaks suggest it’s most likely the River Raft sequence however the raft may be substituted for Kayaks.

* Not many new species are introduced in this movie.

   * Among the returning ones of course the popular ones like the T-Rex and Velociraptor will appear. The Spinosarus will also make a return with a more “paleo informed” look.

   * As for new dinosaurs, Maisaurus is rumoured to make an appearance as well as Aquilops, a small dinosaur added in mainly for marketing.

 

 

If these are true i feel very confident in 3 of those new species coming to these sets! 😁

Out of that list, Maiasaurus would be the Dinosaur I would be most looking forward to get in a Lego Set.

I pray that the 'mutant dinosaur' is not made into Lego form, and just pray that it's not in the film in general. Me and many others are sick of hybrids.

I would assume its the main 'villain dino' we've seen leaks of, mattel leaks i believe they are, also having

It's honestly criminal that we've had to wait a whole decade to see that thing get the lego treatment

Eh, i don’t want mutant dinosaurs to be transitioned into lego form. Honeslty, iit would be a waste of money on creating a mold. Who wants mutant dinosaurs over relistic ones?

This. And that's without mentioning that mold would most likely never get used again after its debut

Exactly.  Although I-rex body parts are quite useful for other dinosaur species. I jsut don’t think S-Rex and other mutant dinosaurs body parts would be useful.

Yeah, we clearly need more herbivores. I mean Mosa is fine too but it will be huge and expensive and I am not even sure if I would be getting it anyways. Well not granted on herbivores either, since I didn´t got the Brachio either, but I just don´t like how they made it. I want dinos in the style of the T-Rex, Raptor, Ankylosaurus, and Triceratops.

Yeah, they are one of the biggest issues I had with the new Films actually. I mean, the whole plot about normal dinosaurs got to boring so they had to make hybrids because of that was nonsense from the start.

Legit, but it is what it is, so hopefully we can get him soon, although im not sure which style they would go for? JP3 or JWR rumoured design? Maybe they could make it in a way so parts can be reused for both

Yeah, they are one of the biggest issues I had with the new Films actually. I mean, the whole plot about normal dinosaurs got to boring so they had to make hybrids because of that was nonsense from the start.

 

True, i'd rather Parasaurolophus than Maiasaurus, but both are welcome!

I reckon we will get that little Acquilops, as its rumoured to be like the mascot of the film, sorta like how Bumpy was for CC

Ok, might as well ask. Will they keep the raptors and the rex the same or will they be updated too?

Not too sure about that buddy, from what i've heard they will redesign some species, quote possibly t-rex and raptors for this film to show genetic mutations/evolutions etc, and also have some more paleo-accurate designs, but i havent seen a confirmed answer yet

Welcome to the club, those 1993 raptor designs are not only too iconic for JP, but pop culture as a whole to change. Also we have Pyroraptor and Utahraptor from JWE2 to fill the feathered raptor role, so that won't bother me too much

Yeah same here. Also wondering how big changes between the Brachiosaurus and Titanosaurus will be, if we get the later one in a set.

Hopefully. They are rumoured to appear in the movie next year, so it would make sense for the sets to have them.

We don't know anything about the sets themselves though, apart from the set numbers and piece counts.

I’m reallly hoping the movie has pteranodon because it’s my fav animal, additionally I want an actual propper designed pteranodon not necessarily 100% science accurate but I want it to look like a pteranodon and look good unlike jp3 and jw
