Since they started to celebrate their Harry Potter day last year, I think it is save to asume that both the Set and the GWP will be released on September 1st.
Lego Nostalgia Posted April 24, 2024 Posted April 24, 2024 I wish we got a Hogwarts like the UCS one but minifigure scale instead of micro.
mirkwoodspiders Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Friends, I have a confession: I've been a HP completionist since the theme came back in 2018. But, I reached my breaking point. This latest wave costing upwards of... I can't even remember how many 100's of dollars is just too much. I've decided to sell it all (every set is unopened), excluding the D2Cs I've already opened and built. It'll just be D2Cs going forward for the theme. Great sets, just too much to keep up with, and too many to choose from as far as what to get and what to pass on. I love this theme and will be excited to see what they continue to churn out. But, with kid #4 on the way and money super tight, I had to draw the line somewhere. Anyway, confession over. Now, I can't wait to see the latest reveals!
Jaromir Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 I think that something is coming. We getting more info about Buckbeak set, that it will include small brick build bird and pumpkins. Also, the Aragog set will have small forest which you can attach to forbidden forest set.

No, you‘re correct, @Brick Clicker said the bird would be brick-built He also said a reveal would likely happen next week, which makes sense. We‘re running out of opportunities this week since they don‘t typically reveal sets on weekends
Accio Lego Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 40 minutes ago, Roebuck said: I that the latest leak? Was hoping for the new raven mould even if the chances are small It’s not new info at all - we’ve known that the Buckbeak set will contain some brick built pumpkins and ‘a bird’ since before the Dreamzzz sets with the new ravens were revealed. It’s been debated since whether the bird is brick built like the pumpkins or not because the grammar is just ambiguous enough for that kind of speculation.

We‘re running out of opportunities this week since they don‘t typically reveal sets on weekends Odd choice. 1. May is a bank holiday for most of Europe (not Switzerland apparently). Falling as it does in the middle of the week means plenty of people will take the first two, last two, or full week off (we are), leaving many offices short staffed. lego have 4. May fixed in their calendars, on a Saturday, no less; it seems odd to deliberately plan things for the week if they aren't forced to. If so, here's betting on Monday or Tuesday for HP to spread the workload. Edited April 25, 2024 by krimimimi

Considering the number of themes with new releases in June, it‘s gonna be a busy week Apart from HP, we have Star Wars, DC, Marvel, Jurassic World, Ideas, City, Friends, and Ninjago, maybe even more. Not gonna be easy to spread them out
MaxHeadroom Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 All past reveals have been on weekdays, but do we know what time they usually are? Next week is certainly plausible but this week isn’t really over yet.
Huigberts Builds Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 These reveals are usually on a Friday, so I'm gonna guess next Friday is the most likely day for a reveal, if it doesn't get leaked before that.
strangely Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 (edited) It just leaked on Insta. New wand molds, it looks like potentially it's a wand handle add on (like in Hogwarts Legacy), but not completely sure. New Troll mold too. Edited April 25, 2024 by strangely
MaxHeadroom Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 HOORAY! Looking good so far although I’m not sure about those underground sections
Seaber Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Looks like Vector is in the Great Hall to me?! Dark hair witch on right. Can't see a ghost though yet..
MaxHeadroom Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 I’m only seeing 6 photos. Great Hall interior, Malkin’s, lifestyle photo of Ollivander’s, buck-beak without accessories, and two mandrake pics. Do we have more than that? The general shape of the Great Hall is the first time they’ve got it right since 2010. Definitely a worthy upgrade of the exterior looks good.
BrickBob Studpants Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Looooove that new troll!! Can’t tell if that teacher is actually Vector… And no ghost in sight! The GH itself looks cool Also, nice repurposing of Pince‘s hat for Malkin!
MaxHeadroom Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 (edited) Woah hold up are those new wands in the Ollivander’s Display wtf? Edited April 25, 2024 by MaxHeadroom
Gorilla94 Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 (edited) Wow... that troll is one of the best Big figs ever made. Not too impressed with the rest... Yeah, it is big. But the visible sky being 2 cheap cloudshaped Tiles on the Underside of dark blue Plates is more than dissapointing. I don't recognise the Hufflepuff common room. Is it Vector? The hat is nougat, not brown. But I am pretty sure it isn't sprout Edited April 25, 2024 by Gorilla94
Jaromir Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 OMG the troll is amazing <3. Not sure what to think about the great hall itself.
brickbride Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 (edited) Great Hall: Huh. Underwhelming at first glance, which is good because there's no way I'm going to want to start collecting yet another Hogwarts Castle iteration. The troll admittedly looks nice. And so does the Fat Friar. The middle removable section is I don't even know what, and the Hufflepuff common room looks, again, underwhelming. The Great Hall seems to be taken straight from the last Chamber of Secrets set just with a (which is definitely a plus) higher ceiling and some banners. But basically the footprint of the entire thing seems to be about the same as in the Chamber of Secrets set, so I don't see the justification for the price increase. Also, I'm sorry to say but the buildable sky ceiling looks kinda bad. Mandrake: Between the large printed leaves and the face, my first thought was "4+". But to be fair, I don't care for botanical sets on the whole. And it does look kind of cute taken from the pot, though I'm not sure how you'd display it that way. Madam Malkin's and Ollivanders: That's the only thing so far which I think looks good and (somewhat) worth the price, though I'd like to see the outside of MM's and the inside of Ollivander's. Buckbeak: Honestly, my first thought was "He's the king of the hippogriffs, he has a crown!" But then, LEGO's buildable creatures generally aren't for me. Nice "bowing" posture, though.
