Dreamzzz had a EUR 200 playset!). That's really odd. It will probably be more like – this year’s polybag for $XX Harry Potter purchase, the B&B Floo gwp for $XXX Harry Potter purchase, and [unknown Weasley clock item] specifically when you purchase the Burrow. I don’t think any Harry Potter gwp in the past has been tied to the purchase of a specific set, not even the Gringotts Vault one last year which was very specifically an extension of the D2C set. But Lego has done that with several other D2Cs, so I can see them dipping their toe in with this theme too. May the Fourth seems to be profitable for them, and has frequently included some non lego promotional items, with Back to Hogwarts day becoming a more permanent fixture in recent years it makes sense that Lego might want to try similar tactics.

This exactly. Based on last years, I would say 40€ for the Polybag and 130€ for the Floo Network GWP. Of course they could aswell go higher, but given that HP is still a kids-aimed theme and they usually have lower tresholds, I would guess the chances that it stays like this aren´t that bad.
BrickBob Studpants Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 A picture of the Burrow‘s box has leaked, showing both sides! Love the interior, there‘s so much going on!
Micmac Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 (edited) Better picture out of the Burrow showing it opened up. Wasn't expecting it to open in the middle just past the pig enclosure but the interior looks really detailed, lots of stickers. The rooms look a bit small though, awkward to access. I'm not sure I like that the mystery portraits from the castle are in this set, seems odd. There must be another opening to access the front bedroom, looks like the roof comes off the front part .Hopefully official pictures are coming soon. 13 minutes ago, Jaromir said: Where? :O Its from a discord group but its on facebook, try a.clay.brick account on insta Edited August 7, 2024 by Micmac

Jaromir Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Thanks for the info @Micmac. I am not sure but ground floor of the Burrow looks smaller to me than the 75980 Burrow. Looks like there is only kitchen there and the chimney, no living room.
Accio Lego Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 1 hour ago, Jaromir said: Looks like there is only kitchen there and the chimney, no living room. The fireplace/chimney is in the living room. Sure, it takes up a lot of the space in said living room, but you can still see details like the chair with the self-knitting needles off to the side. I think it’s interesting that they clearly went with CoS based heights for the younger kids, but they still seem to have references to later installments like the WWW products and Percy’s outfit. Still not sure why they wouldn’t just do a GoF based set, since the outfits would be similarly unique as the CoS arrival ones and the twins had already started their business by then in the books, but maybe they just couldn’t squeeze Hermione into the budget. Charlie seems to be the one with the recolored Hawkeye hair - the pattern on his shirt seems to match the extra at the back of the PoA family photo. That would make the fellow in the brown vest Bill, although I can’t say I’m a fan of the hobbit hair for him. I might see about picking up the ponytail they used for Yaxley in dark orange, if he can’t have accurate movie hair he can at least have accurate book hair. Returning to the fireplace, the Floo play feature looks like a screw lift that will let you suck characters into the chimney by spinning a knob. Assuming the gwp has a matching set up (like the 2010 Burrow and 2011 Diagon Alley did), then it will need to be on the taller side for a promo. I think there’s still a good chance we’ll see a shelf of merchandise attached though, if for no other reason than that’s the easiest way to build in pin connections that would give it a way to attach to a hypothetical future Borgin and Burke’s set.

Harry and Ron center bottom, Ginny above Harry, Fred and George with the pink pig on the right. Arthur a bit left of them. I think your right about Percy who should be on the left of the image. Molly next to him (?), Bill in the dooropening and Charlie on the balcony I think. Not far off. All outfits are based on CoS, except for Bill and Charlie offcourse. Percy is on the balcony, Molly in the dooropening and Bill and Charlie left of the boximage. Hat for Arthur is unfortunately just a recolor of the sorcerer hat. I was hoping it would be an hat/hair-mould. He has an extra hair-piece. Some leakers suggest that there were only prints, no stickers. I see a lot of graphic stuff inside, but can't see if those are stickers or prints.
Jaromir Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 I think Charlie has Corban Yaxley recoloured hairpiece.

Jaromir Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 I wasn't expecting Hogwart's portraits in this set, but it seems there is at least one of them in the set.

The striped torso on the fig in the upper bedroom does look like the pajamas Percy is wearing in that CoS scene. In that case, the fig with the dark clothes could be Bill – upon looking closer he seems to actually use that Yaxley hair instead of the short wig I originally thought. That would mean the character in the brown vest is actually Charlie - which fits the rugged clothes and gloves a bit better.

Pointed out by JediJacPenguin on Instagram; Molly had both leg- and armprints. Edited August 7, 2024 by mark1991t

The Hobbit hair makes no sense for Bill since we actually see him on-screen, whereas Charlie‘s never depicted outside of that photograph in PoA, so they can give him whatever dark orange hairpiece they desire I hope this leak forces their hand a bit. I need clearer pictures asap
mark1991t Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Looks like there's something on the balcony on the right side of the open pic of the Burrow. Can't see what but has the shape of a cat. Front door of the house is the new door from Medival Town Square.
THELEGOBATMAN Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Yeah, that's an incredible looking set. Glad they are focusing on chaotic and pleasant family vibes instead of "Oh no, it's Bellatrix; and she's burning the house!" Weird that the only picture from the movies' is a HBP shot with Harry and Ron tho, since both of them as minifigures are based on CoS...

mark1991t Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 There's another picture of the movies from the floo powder scene from CoS. That picture is above a picture of the flow powder scene in this set. The picture of Harry and Ron is in the bedroom of Ron, next to a picture of the LEGO version of that room. I think that's what they are going for.

I know I do. Came in useful when the Diagon Alley D2C didn’t come with any wands other than the ones in the boxes in Ollivander’s.

I have gobs of wands - filling out the set with them should be no problem. I'm really excited for this set. The interior honestly doesn't look much bigger than the system scale set, but the details look pretty cool, especially the fireplace.
Roebuck Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Is it possible to use minidoll hats for minifigs? If so there is a potential new witch hat in the set I think
