But it is still the 20€ Set, isn't it? The classroom needs the 50€ price tag...

Jedi JAC Penguin, who wasn't sure first, now has this updated. The classroom is the 20$ set, according to his website.

Can you tell me, where the Info is from, please? Instagram "legoleaks" and so on seems dead.

@Brick Clicker‘s main outlet is his YT channel. He has an IG account too ^^

I was afraid the bike would not be minifig-scale… I’m looking forward to Malfoy Manor and the Duelling Club instead then. Fingers crossed for Narcissa Malfoy and a new Lockhart, but they are almost guaranteed. Leaving out the matriarch and the founder respectively would be pretty stupid. This ain‘t the Marvel theme, after all! :laugh_hard:

According to @Brick Clicker, Hagrid‘s Bike isn‘t minifig-scale and instead includes brickbuilt versions of Hagrid and Harry. Dangit  So much for more Death Eaters!

No!!!! I was so looking forward to Hagrid with googles minifigure face.

Lego bricks and pieces has had an update with new parts, of note:

Fat Fryer grey hair, troll blue arms and hands and Professor Vector hat/hair from The Great Hall set

Mini owl number 22

Gold and trans orange unprinted mini dragons from Ninjago

Brown Hair, Igor’s torso print and Krum’s torso print also surprisingly from the Durmstrang Ship

The new potion bottles and bubbles from the Potions class (very expensive though)

For those who don’t know “Mini Owl No. 22” hasn’t appeared in a Harry Potter set yet – it first appeared in a Friends set this summer (but delightfully has normal printing) which is why it isn’t IP locked like the new owls from the Owlery set in March. So if you’re like me and want every owl you can get your hands on to expand the parliament inhabiting your Wizarding World, it’s a great opportunity.
I’ve already grabbed a couple, as well as some of the unprinted mini dragons (I’m planning on using the trans orange ones to add to the Feindfire in the Room of Hidden Things set), and a whole bunch of parts to redecorate the new Great Hall for Halloween like it should be.

The confirmation that the upcoming Hagrid’s Motorbike set isn’t minifigure scale is a bit disappointing but completely unsurprising. The parts to price ratio for 76443 was always more in the buildable object/character range instead of a playset. I’ll hold out on any further judgement until we actually get pictures – the Harry Potter line doesn’t have the best track record here, but the buildable characters released recently for Wicked and Wednesday are decent enough. The Charms Classroom being half the size of the Potions Classroom is more worrying. We probably shouldn’t expect it to be fully enclosed this time – it will likely be open fronted like the bathroom and Hufflepuff common room modules from the Great Hall.

Good to know. Thanks!

Thinking about the price increase I am not 100% sure, what to expect from the dueling club. I guess the build will only be the table. I think 4 figures (Harry, Malfoy, Snape and Lockhard)+ a snake should be included for 20€ then at least. Knowing lego I expect 3 :/  They will probably skip Snape, so he stays exclusive to the potions clasroom... hopefully they give Lockhard a fitting hair piece.

Well, it seems in the end I guessed what it was... but I'm not happy about it :hmpf_bad:

By all rights a proper rendition of the dueling club should bring back the cobra from the Series 13 snake charmer. Lego skipped it in 2021, but the dueling club didn’t get its own set back then, it was basically just an extra play feature hidden in the Chamber of Secrets set. When you’re doing an actual set called Hogwarts Castle: Durling Club though, I expect to be able to properly act out the pivotal moment where Harry talks down a rearing cobra.

A good point, will be interesting to see what mould they use there🤔

I don‘t mind the motorbike set as such, but it does annoy me that this likely means we won‘t see a minifigscale version for quite some time :hmpf_bad:

You never know – with Malfoy Manor on the release list we could get a Battle of the Seven Potters set at any time

Sure, minifig- and largescale models have coexisted on shelves before, but they weren’t released in the same year  We were robbed of a potential DH1 set! Good thing the Manor is there to make up for that :sweet:

I know, no word has been said yet about whether it‘s based on PS or DH1, but since it‘s a display model, I guess it‘s the former. Baby Harry takes up fewer parts and the DH1 version is kinda pointless as a larger model. Who‘d be pursuing them? :laugh_hard:

As we approach the holiday season, I am reminded of how disappointed I am about this year’s HP Advent calendar (in contrast to how much I appreciated last year’s version). While some people are celebrating that all of the minifigs in this year’s set are new, I don’t think those minifigs are particularly useful. Yes, it is novel for the students to have scarves but not robes, but I can’t recall a time when the movies actually showed them wearing scarves without robes. (Logically, if the weather is cold enough to warrant a scarf, wouldn’t the student be wearing a robe too?) The Dumbledore and Flitwick minifigs are nice, but not that distinctive. The caroling ghost is easily the best item in this year’s calendar, but let’s remember that this ghost only appeared in one movie for about two seconds. The non-minifig items may be the most disappointing of any HP advent calendar so far. I like the crackers, but the house statues look odd to me, and the house-colored tables have no basis in the movies or books. Why couldn’t Lego have instead included the fun cereal boxes from the Chamber of Secrets set? I’d welcome more of those. The best HP Advent calendars have enhanced other regular sets such as the Yule Ball and Hogsmeade, but online reviewers have pointed out that it is very difficult to incorporate pieces from this year’s calendar into the new Great Hall set. So I will not be getting the Advent calendar this year. Instead, as a substitute, I purchased the Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes set and will be doling out portions of it for my daughter to build each day in December since it has lots of fun shop items and minifigs.  As for next year, while the movies never showed the holidays there, I am hoping Lego makes a Diagon Alley-themed Advent calendar that complements the shop sets.

Quìddich game crowd ? I agree they are the least usefull, but still quite neat.

Well, that is no big deal for me to be honest. The first two are the best in my opinion. I hope we will get other singers in future calendars.

But you are correct. Anything besides the figures is pretty bad.

Also, after having built some of the new Dreamzzz sets, I‘m still baffled they haven‘t used the dual-moulded smoke piece from Hidden Side for the baddies yet.

Do you mean the one they've used for the Dementors here? Honestly, I was never a fan of the movies' tendency to have people who Apparate turn into mist, so it doesn't bother me at all.

Most people seem to think it's the latter, since the set is apparently known as "Motorbike and Sidecar" and the sidecar only appears in DH1. Also I'm not sure who this set is meant for in the first place, but assuming that kids like this kind of stuff, an adult Harry probably has more play value than a baby.

In 2021, the EUR 20 set for the modular Hogwarts gave us a really neat and complex build as well as four figures (with extra hair-/headpieces for three of them!). Just saying! That said, I fully agree that the most we're likely to get now are three figs and one of those crappily designed so-called modules reminiscent of the Hufflepuff Common Room in the Great Hall set.

Lockhart and Harry for the Dueling Club are a given - the 2021 Chamber of Secrets also did the Dueling Club and somehow left out both Draco and Snape. I also suspect that for the new series of playset Diagon Alley stores we'll get Flourish and Blotts next, and for the modular Hogwarts we'll get the Chamber of Secrets soon. Both would have to involve Lockhart so if they invest in a new minifig for the Dueling Club they can then easily reuse parts of it.

No, he means this one that doesn't replace the legs. It could look nice as an addition to match the movie effect.

Exactly! They could do it in black and trans-black for the baddies and in white and trans-clear for the members of the Order that join the climactic battle in OotP :sweet:

I feel a set based on that scene would work the best. It‘s long overdue anyway!

Re: brick-built Motorbike with brick-built Hagrid and Harry: Rumour has it that the Marvel subtheme will scrap the buildable figures by the end of 2025 because they don't sell. Given that, I find it baffling that they are only just now introducing them here! At least many Marvel characters wear helmets or cowls that partly cover their heads. After the atrocity that was the buildable Chewbacca over at Star Wars, I really don't want to know how the designers'll attempt to recreate Hagrid's shaggy hair and beard.

Reported by a guy without any track record, so we can‘t really trust this information  Besides, nobody said anything about the buildable figures in this set being in the same style as the Marvel and DC ones. They might be more akin to the Harry & Hermione figures we got in 2021, or their own style :shrug_oh_well:

Yeah, the buildable figures can’t be going too horribly – they just released a buildable figure set each in the new Wednesday and Wicked themes, including a new dual molded piece for the forearm + hand.  That to me suggests that the concept has tested well enough that Lego is confident at being able to sell plenty more similar sets.

I've heard quite a few sellers complain about them as well, since they're basically subpar action figures at a too-high price point and therefore don't sell.

They also would not lend themselves to representing Hagrid's bulky figure (the Green Goblin that supposedly represented the Willem Dafoe version was bad enough). Still, they're the most poseable kind of buildable (human) figure we've got so far. The Wednesday and Wicked ones wouldn't exactly lend themselves to sitting on a motorbike! The Harry & Hermione ones were at a completely different price point, so I think we can rule those out.

Honestly, now I expect the entire thing (minus Harry) to look much like this:76245.png?format=webply&fit=bounds&quali

Malfoy manor leaked.

a very nice minifig selection, though i’m disappointed that it doesn’t come with ron…

the building seems more like a facade… but with all minifigs having legs instead of the dress slope, maybe there are some playfeatures on the otherside. I also find it a shame they decided to reuse narcisa’s old hairpiece…. But we are getting a new one for luna.

I like that it seems like we are getting new face prints for harry, bella and lucius.

overall not the 10/10 i’d hoped for, but still an easy day 1 buy

Kinda surprised we see Voldemort there. Would rather expected Greyback than him, but well. Anyways looks quite flat, like how is there even any place to play in it? Well I would expect that the middle part has a bit more space, but can´t really say much unless we see the backside of it. But for now it looks rather disappointing. Looks actually more like a fake to me to be honest.

Might just be a budget thing. Unprinted dress slopes look bad and no-one but Dobby and possibly Bella seems to have leg printing.

Have you seen Gru's house from Minions? Or the Emerald City leak from Wicked? Paper-thin facades are LEGO 's new thing.
