TheFriedChimken Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 (edited) Photo is available to be seen in a video by The UniBricks' YouTube if anyone hasn't seen it yet and wants too. Look so amazing!!! I love what they have done with all the included characters. I do think Sebastian and Flounder look out of place without Ariel, but hopefully this means we may end up with her later on - similar to how we got Gaston and now Belle. As for Belle though, her face looks new but also looks somewhat Cinderella's. I hope it's an original print. Nonetheless, I love the dress and actually works without the wider piece! **Edit** Did a comparison with a side on shot of Cinderella alongside the leaked Belle. It seems they do have the same face print, but I hope I'm mistaken. Also do we think her hairpiece will be plastic or rubber? Edited September 4, 2024 by TheFriedChimken

Apart from the lips, the shape of the smile and eyebrows are what made me think they could be the same head piece. If not the same, then they must just look extremely alike.

It looks to me like Mickey has printing on all of his parts - I don't see any of the usual "sticker edges." if I'm correct, that means that there's at least 16 new prints! Mickey Eyes Sorcerer Hat Lower Sorcerer Hat Upper Geppetto Head Geppetto Shirt Lilo Head Lilo Troso Lilo Skirt Simba Belle Head (I think it's different from the other princesses, due to the brown eyebrows) Belle Torso Belle Skirt Rose Stained Glass Window Bruno Head Bruno Torso Bruno Legs (I think the prophecy piece, Sebastian, and Flounder are all returning prints) I do think Mickey's pose is a little odd. The staring straight forward with a smug impression reminds me of the missile scene from the first Iron Man. And I think Simba looks a little odd - probably the lack of whiskers? At very very least, the nailed Belle, and the other minifigs all look great too!

We'll know when we get a clear photo I guess. So far the lack of being able to see the lips and that her eyes seem a little higher than Cinderella's (though could just be the eye printing placement being slightly off) are keeping me hopeful that they are different. If you want to compare for yourself, here are the images I used. In a separate collage, I had these two photos either side with a screenshot of Belle up close in the middle. **Edit** You can access the photos on my flickr, hopefully my most recent photo will help in case these don't do. Ah - I looked at a photo quickly for comparison, and I thought that Cinderella's were black. Hopefully it's a new print, though... It'd be odd for Cinderella, Wendy, and Belle to all have the exact same face.

I wouldn't mind if it was just Cinderella and, if they happen to be the same, Belle - however, the thought of three minifigures sharing the same face printing is a tad annoying. At least for Belle it would work seeing that she is more older than Wendy and closer to Cinderella in age. I'm also surprised that they didn't give Belle strap printing on her arms in the same way they did with Aurora... Edited September 4, 2024 by TheFriedChimken
Lion King Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 Did….someone….say…. Belle and Simba in minifigure form?????? About darn time!!!!!! But no Beast yet….t
Jarreth2 Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 @Lion King Belle in minifig form yes .. Simba .. no .. he looks like a ‘Friends’ mould .. which as much as I don’t like it I can understand how it looks better 👍🏼

Lego_ofme Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 In the new Pharrell set with the mountain of heads there’s one head that is pretty perfect for Mirabel so that plus Bruno today makes it seem very likely we’re getting some more Encanto!
karrit Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 Finally a Lilo! I was a bit meh on the original submission but this is awesome. I'm glad they went with different minifigs and gave us ones we don't already have.

I have to agree with some of the comments on Reddit about Bruno not being iconic enough.

The audacity, the utter disrespect!! Yes, the eponymous subject of the record-breaking hit song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is not iconic, got it You can’t even argue that the song should be separated from the character, given that his green eyes and the rat are clearly nods towards the song
Aramar Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 (edited) The set comes with a little girl, an adult male, an adult princess, an old man, a protagonist animal, 2 secondary animals, 1 extra rat, 3 animated broomsticks and the mouse himself. While some of the choices could be discussed, the representation of all kind of Disney characters is excellent. Maybe the only missing thing is a villain. Edited September 4, 2024 by Aramar

The right leg is important, but how about the left? 48 minutes ago, Aramar said: The set comes with a little girl, an adult male, an adult princess, an old man, a protagonist animal, 2 secondary animals, 1 extra rat, 3 animated broomsticks and the mouse himself. Now you have me wishing for a Lady Tremaine or Mother Gothel. Looking at it, its odd there is not Silver era representation. For one of the more iconic eras, its missing representation in the set.

Some of the figs included pair great with figs from the Disney 100 CMF, but yet there's no way to get that for the average consumer now. Agreed. It's such a shame that you can't pair them with a simultaneous purchase. I think Mickey suffers from being scaled down a little and I'm kind of sad that Aladdin was removed. Not including Ariel seems odd, and I think the composition of the set would have benefited from the shape and colour pops that a minifigure would bring on the right-hand side. Pride Rock looks much better, and I love the inclusion of the enchanted broom sticks - that's the idea I voted for in the original competition.

The brooms could arguably be a "villain," but they're more of an antagonist than anything (and, yes, those are different). 51 minutes ago, OttoRiver said: Looking at it, its odd there is not Silver era representation. For one of the more iconic eras, its missing representation in the set. Throwing in Pongo would have been a nice touch, and could have even acted as a "pair" for Cruella. And as far as who did make it in - yeah, Mirabelle would have made more sense if it was the only character we're getting, but that just makes me think even more that we have an Encanto set on the way, and they wanted to have a good mix of "really desirable" and "middlingly desirable" minifigs in this set pulled from upcoming sets - if that makes sense. Otherwise, this set could have been a one-stop shop to get all of the main characters, and the draw to get the single-movie sets would be much less.

Jarreth2 Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 @Lion King for me Simba isnt like Bambi and Dumbo .. whilst they aren’t minifigures they’re ‘look’ and aesthetic is minifigure related for me. The ‘Friends’ styling is much more rounded and cutesy. For Simba as a cub this fits quite well.
JeanGreyForever Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 Very psyched for the minifig lineup. Geppetto was on my wishlist. Was expecting him in a Disney CMF Series 4 with the Blue Fairy. I do wish they had included Figaro with him though. Feels very odd to have Pinocchio, Jiminy, Geppetto, and Cleo but no Figaro. It would have been nice for one more animal mold to get us Cleo so the whole family can be together. Simba is cute and I was hoping for The Lion King's anniversary this year, we'd get some minifig set so this is the closest to that. But I agree he looks too cartoony/Friends style for me. Like the mini Pride Rock. Lilo was someone I predicted we might get since we're getting her house soon. The hair does not work for her at all though. They cheaped out and just gave her Pocahontas' hair, I guess because you can insert a flower in it. Hoping she has a more accurate hairpiece for her house set. Belle is also long overdue. Very psyched to get her but it's hard to tell from the lighting if she's had sparkles thrown over her or not. I like that her dress isn't monochromatic yellow but varying shades, which is accurate to the movie (although her dress should really be gold). 6 hours ago, hikouki said: I have to agree with some of the comments on Reddit about Bruno not being iconic enough. Lilo & Stitch is the last bonafide Disney classic anyway. 5 hours ago, OttoRiver said: Now you have me wishing for a Lady Tremaine or Mother Gothel. Aurora didn't have dual molded arms. They were just pink so they were able to print the white sash, flesh skin, and and gold detailing on the pink arm. Belle has dual molded arms so maybe it was more difficult to print yellow bands on the actual flesh molded parts. And I'm just seeing now that Lilo seems to not have dual molded arms to portray her red sleeves. It looks like she's sleeveless. Between the generic hair and the lack of sleeves, that's very disappointing. I don't think there's any minifigure with dual molded red arms and her particular skin tone.

I wonder which brick they used for Lilo's skirt? Is it a regular 1x2 brick? Or perhaps a slope? The very slow release of Beauty and the Beast characters is killing me - They released a Gaston. Now a Belle in a different set. When is Beast coming??? Other major princesses have had their princes released already.

I guess it should look great nonetheless, considering when you look at Cinderella they printed her sleeves on the torso, leaving the arms as plain dual molded pieces, and it works fine.
