Either way, we've gotten set numbers and names for Ninjago and Star Wars, so maybe we'll get more info before too long.
Lion King Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Please, please, please just give me a minifigure-style Beauty. And the Beast set and I will be happy….

My top three most-wanted minifigs would be: Belle Beast Prince Philip (Sleeping Beauty). ----- I also have to say that since Lego decided to scrap that Maleficent dragon set (instead made it into minidoll), they should have given us an alternative set for that.
Aramar Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 Do you think that Lego could make new Inside Out sets after the massive success of the new film? I think they wasted an opportunity to have very interesting sets when they released only 1 poor set with 2 minidolls.

I think Lego has wasted a lot of opportunity by not offering more minifig sets in general.
Aramar Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 It seems Disney is pushing back Pirates of the Caribbean with the arrival of the characters to Fornite and now to Disney's Speedstorm game too. Do you think we could we get a new Lego Pirates of the Caribbean set in the near future too?

BrickBob Studpants Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 According to exabricks, Lilo‘s house is coming as a $90 set. With minifigs. Effin finally!! Fingers crossed it comes with Jumba and Pleakley!
THELEGOBATMAN Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 (edited) Minifigures? Oh my oh my. Another set which I am insanely excited for. Bought buildable Stitch two weeks ago, and he look incredible. Having a minifigure scale set is gonna be amazing. I love this movie so much. Edited July 29, 2024 by THELEGOBATMAN

Fingers crossed it comes with Jumba and Pleakley! Instant buy for me even without having seen it yet. I'm super excited and I hope it's true. Lilo and Stitch would be included for sure, but I hope Nanny, David, Pleakley and Jumba are included too. I think Jumba would need a new moulded piece like Dumbo or Eyeore had.
JohnTPT17 Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 I'm not going to but much stock in Pleaky or Jumba being in the set for now. I'd love to have them, but the Up house only had two minifigs (plus Dug) for $60. Lilo, Stitch (maybe a blue four-arm variant this time?), and Nanny are basically guaranteed, and David probably the next pick. I could see Myrtle or Bubbles being added in as well, since their minifigs would be pretty simple and could act as a bit of an "antagonist." Pleaky and Jumba would be better, though. Still waiting for Belle, though...
karrit Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 Finally! So happy to hear this. I wonder if it will be the original yellow house or the post alien battle rebuilt blue-green house with observatory tower? My Stitch minifigs will finally have a home and Lilo!
Rwbricks Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 My friend and I joke that Ned from the No Way Home Statue of Liberty set looks just like David, so he’ll fit perfectly here! I’m really hoping for Jumba and Pleakley, as they’re the most iconic characters outside of the main duo. Five figures (them plus Nanny) seems reasonable for $90. My unreasonable hope is for a buildable Gantu, but that’s something I’ll likely have to make myself. Exabricks said it was for winter 2025. My first assumption was December 2025, which would be a long ways away. Logically, it seems like it would be January or after, which I like a lot better.

JeanGreyForever Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 This is great news but I can't help noticing that this is yet another Lego Ideas set, like the Snow White cottage set, which was rejected but ends up becoming an official set after all. Finally we'll get Lilo. Jumba and Pleakley would be pretty hard to adapt into minifigs but the set would feel incomplete without them. I'm expecting Nani and maybe David or Cobra Bubbles. Possibly some of the experiments from the TV series and sequels like Angel, Stitch's love interest who gets a whole lot of merchandise in Japan. I hope they include Lilo's bike, her Scrump doll, and the Ugly Duckling book with some little ducklings.

The Peter Pan set was $60 with three minifigs but two were repeats and one exclusive (so far). Would they repeat the recent Stitch CMF? Or recolor? With a $90 price tag, and if it were all new and exclusive minifigs, I can't imagine there to be that many or it being a substantial build. Would very much welcome a Lilo minifig though!
OttoRiver Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 I'm excited and somewhat curious if this is meant to coincide with the Live Action remake. We had the clamshell for Little Mermaid, the Dwarf's Cottage which would have been releasing alongside Snow White, late 2025 could line up with Lilo and Stitch. As long as its the original animated, this is day 1 for me. Lilo has been missing since 2016 and needs to be on the shelf next to Stitch.

Still waiting for Belle, though... I'm guessing 3-4. That seems the most likely number based on the Peter Pan and Up sets. Stitch seems to be popular enough with Lego, between two minifigs and a brick-built set, that they might be willing to invest in a new mold like they did with Dug in Up but I'm not sure we'd be lucky enough to get both Jumba and Pleakley so it's more likely we might not get either. The Target Ideas set is also supposed to feature Stitch and I'm wondering if it might not be easier for them to shoehorn Lilo into that as well since she'll have an existing minifigure now. The $90 price-tag is a bit worrying because Lilo's house is fairly big. It should be a least the size of Snow White's cottage, which was more or less the case with the original Lego Ideas submission. For only $90, this means we're going to get a house more along the size of the Up house or Winnie the Pooh's house. It's going to be tiny and I don't think a $90 set can do justice to the size.

The new Stitch from the third CMF with the space costume doesn't really fit the house, so I think the basic Stitch from the first CMF would be better. Or maybe a Hawaiian stitch with a hula skirt. Lilo will be a new minifigure, and Nani and David are kind of easy to make, so I hope to get at least 4 minifigures. The camera set was only 10$ more expensive and had 5 minifigures including two new moulded ones. There's hope 🙏 Maybe they could add a side build with the iconic red space, but with the price tag this seems less likely. Maybe a second separate set?
BrickBob Studpants Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 Not including Pleakley and Jumba would be such a missed opportunity. I mean, where and when else would they ever show up in a set?
JeanGreyForever Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Stitch is popular enough that his red spaceship can probably get its own separate set in the future. Maybe with a brick-built Gantu.

Good point. Totally forgot about the Target set. I think for that Target set, they will probably reduce the number of themes featured. Say only Sorcerer Mickey, Lilo & Stich, one more, instead of the four or five on the original submission. Then this Lilo and Stitch set will already have one repeat minifig. Jumba = bigfig? Pleakley = brickbuilt. OttoRiver Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 What if we only get a Lilo and Stitch figure with the set? Would explain the lower price point if there are less figures and could open up more bricks for the build.

Three I think is the bare minimum, six is probably the most, and only if they reuse prints. And $90 is still pretty expensive. Based on the price of the Peter Pan and Up sets, I think we're looking at 800-1000ish pieces. I imagine some of those will be used for some kind of foliage, beach, side builds, or maybe even Bubble's car/the space pod, but that still leaves, at worst, 600-800ish for the main house. It's no mansion, but it's at least bigger than the Up house. It's not going to as big as the BDP Series 2 Ocean House either way - I think a dollhouse/facade in the same vein as Up is the most likely.
