I highly doubt that would be the case. Three I think is the bare minimum, six is probably the most, and only if they reuse prints. And $90 is still pretty expensive. Based on the price of the Peter Pan and Up sets, I think we're looking at 800-1000ish pieces. I imagine some of those will be used for some kind of foliage, beach, side builds, or maybe even Bubble's car/the space pod, but that still leaves, at worst, 600-800ish for the main house. It's no mansion, but it's at least bigger than the Up house. It's not going to as big as the BDP Series 2 Ocean House either way - I think a dollhouse/facade in the same vein as Up is the most likely. I know it is not Disney but the Marvel Hoopty was 89.99 with only three minifigs - two exclusives. I could see Lego trying to get away with only three minifigs with this set, and I am even thinking two of them will be repeats from the Target set.
Aramar Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 I think that if we get Jumba too, he could be similar in size to the Lotso figure from Toy Story. They woul only need to change the head and printing, because the body shape could reamin the same.

They usually aren’t that stingy with Disney sets. Look at the Snow White cottage! Sure, it’s “just” a $90 set, but I can’t imagine them doing only the bare minimum here.
THELEGOBATMAN Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 I don't want to be pessimistic about this set. They managed to convert the Up house into a 55€ set, and it was perfect. Sure, they could make it a minimum effort 500-piece 90€ set with three minifigures, but I want to believe they won't. Disney sets usually are of higher quality. Stitch, Lilo and Nani are a must. David and Bubbles would be a great addition. Jumba and Pleakley and/or Gantu would make it truly incredible, but two of them would probably work much better as bigfigs—but I wouldn't mind them as minifigures, if it was between them or nothing.
JeanGreyForever Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 Disney has officially started making Tarzan merchandise again, including a Jane doll and a 25th anniversary collectible. I'm assuming this has something to do with Tarzan lapsing into the public domain. I hope this means that whenever we get another Disney CMF series, we can expect to see Tarzan and Jane as minifigs. For that matter, Tarzan's an easy enough minifigure to make that maybe if we're lucky, he can even pop up in the Target Ideas set.

Tarzan is one of my favourite Disney movies, so fingers crossed.

With the new gorilla molds, now would be the time if they wanted to make a set. Turk might need a unique mold, but Kerchak and Kala can probably be done with the existing molds. If we're going to speculate about another Disney CMF, I would really like to see Meg and Phil from Hercules. The Aladdin squad got split up between waves 1 and 2, so there's a chance. Third pick would probably be Max Goof - the internet seems to be getting really nostalgic for A Goofy Movie, so I could see him being reasonably popular.
OttoRiver Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 Lego really just needs to do a yearly Disney CMF and it would answer pretty much all of the needs of the minifigure gang without stepping on the ongoing minidoll line.
jonwil Posted August 2, 2024 Posted August 2, 2024 I would love to see Tarzan content. I would also love to see Monsters Inc and Wreck-It Ralph content.

I would love that! Anyway, the earliest we could expect for Disney CMF 4 is 2026, right? They usually come every 3 or 4 years I think. Also, when can we expect to see something about the Nightmare Before Christmas set releasing in less than a month? And for the 100th anniversary set releasing in October? I need some Disney news, please!

That gives a bit of breathing room from the new August releases to have a bit of the spotlight. I doubt it would be any later than Tuesday the 13th. No idea on the Target set, though. Those ones are pretty hard to guess. I think the Viking Village set was about three weeks before release, so we may not see that one until next month (though hopefully leakers will give us a better idea of what it is soon).

jonwil Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Yeah I want all the remaining official Disney Princesses to get minifigs.

Lego must know there's a demand or Disney was more pushy with this IP than the Marvel and Muppets ones.

Apparently, the new Jane doll can only be sold at Disneyland in California due to the copyright issues. I don't really understand the situation about the rights (especially considering that Tarzan is now on the public domain) and why they can sell merchandising on Disneyland but not on the D23 expo next door or any other Disney parks. Therefore, if this is true, I don't think we'll get any Tarzan lego figures sadly.

Disneyland used to be home to Tarzan's Treehouse so I wonder if Disney had some agreement that they could continue to merchandise Tarzan in Disneyland for perpetuity, even when they lose the rights, because they needed a way to keep promoting their attraction. Maybe that's why both the Jane doll and also the collectible can only be sold in Disneyland, not online, at D23, or any of the other Disney parks. The funny thing is that the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse was converted to Tarzan's Treehouse because Swiss Family Robinson was considered too outdated and obscure for contemporary audiences. But now, Disney's lack of being able to do anything with Tarzan prompted them to convert it back to the Swiss Family Robinson theme. The 1999 film is considered a relic of the past, not the 1960 movie. I was really hoping for a Tarzan set featuring him and Jane and some gorillas. I guess that's never going to happen. 6 hours ago, OttoRiver said: I mean it says a lot that Lego limits CMFs to 12 figures in 2021 and The Looney Tunes, Muppets, and both Marvel CMFs abide the rules and Disney gets to break it with 18. I think that was more because this was Disney's 100th Anniversary celebration and that was the marketing used for the CMF series 3. I personally am not expecting to see 18 figures in a Disney CMF series 4.

Hong Kong Disneyland still has the Tarzan treehouse and Professor porter's shop, and the Tarzan musical is still playing in Germany.

BrickBob Studpants Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 The TNBC set has leaked! Looks fantastic in my opinion and the minifigs look great. Zero is absolute perfection My only point of criticism is Oogie being omitted, but I saw it coming
OttoRiver Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 The fact Sandy Claws but not Dr. Finkelstein is an odd pick and odd how The Mayor was an added figure without Oogie. I'm hoping they are saving him for a CMF and not a gift with purchase instead.
JeanGreyForever Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Very happy to see that the Mayor was added. He was the biggest omission for me from the original submission and they've done a great job translating his unique shape and design. Zero looks amazing and I like that Sally is upgraded too from her CMF figure. While Santa was not absolutely necessary imo, I'm glad they included him. Would have liked to have seen Oogie Boogie and especially Dr. Finkelstein. I can't imagine the latter showing up in another set or CMF so he’s the biggest loss for me. I'm wondering if the moon might have a light-up function. I do think the original submission was superior though. There was greater scale to the height of the house, hill, and fountain. The final set feels almost shrunk down. I also liked how in the original design, everything was connected on one plate like it really was the entire Halloweentown. But what we have here feels more like separate pieces that can co-exist but don't feel truly connected. 41 minutes ago, OttoRiver said: The fact Sandy Claws but not Dr. Finkelstein is an odd pick and odd how The Mayor was an added figure without Oogie. A potential gift with purchase I can see is Jack as Sandy Claws with his sleigh and reindeer skeleton.
astroboy75 Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 A bit disappointed but day 1 purchase for me, I’ve been waiting for this set since the movie came out 😻. Do we know if a GWP is scheduled?
