Doubt this would happen but imagine if LEGO is a Licensee but just isn't making sets, like they do a crappy direct to dvd movie and a backpack then call it a day

I’m more of a Marvel guy, but as far as LEGO goes this was always only 2nd to Avengers Tower on my wish list.

Very excited for this!

Will it be a better value than the Shadowbox? What if it's an Arkham shadowbox

FINALLY! So excited!
question is comic/BTAS/legos own spin/other

by legos own spin I mean like Lego Batman movie where they were not based on anything in particular

I can see any of the above. I hope it’s based on Batman Arkham series it would fit so well but it’s so unlikely even if we did get Arkham knight batsuit.

Batman

Joker 1

Joker 2

Joker 3

Catwoman (reuse)

Two Face (reuse)

Harley Quinn (reuse)

Batgirl (reuse)

Mr Freeze (reuse)

Penguin (reuse)

Only Lego DC could bring me hope (Arkham), then do a 180 and give me despair (no superman sets) within the span of 20 seconds.

Doubt they would reuse the Dark Knight Two Face with the BTAS Catwoman. Think it would be all BTAS reuses (Max 5) or comic reuses (MAX 4). Or certain Parts, probably will use the mold for two face's hair but with a new torso

Don’t forget those Arkham guards!

Do you all think that the villains are going to be in their more recognizable outfits, or will they have Arkham jumpsuits?

I'm actually scared about the Minifigure selection, I just don't know if Lego is capable of giving us a new Red Hood,Nightwing,Robin,Bane,Killer Croc

If it's BTAS based then that limits the selection

For once Lego please, don't be cheap, you get billions per year, please just give us new versions of characters

Even take the budget out of Star Wars and put it into this, Star Wars has gotten enough love

Might as well put me, @CloneCommando99 @Renny The Spaceman @RiddlerDC @Mandalorianknight and @BrickBob Studpants in the cells

@RiddlerDC should be put in a high containment unit cell since he's the craziest one here

Batman, Harleen Quinzel, Joker (Prison), Security Guard, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Penguin (for some reason), Mister Freeze, Nightwing, Bane.

I'm batting about .800 on this one.

Sad thing is, even this amount would be asking for too much lol

Hopefully we get a Cop Car or a Prisoner Transport included

Hopefully their main outfits. With how little we get out of DC these days it would be incredibly cheap to have all the villains reuse the same torso. The only character that should come in the Arkham jumpsuit is Joker like the 2012 set.

This is roughly the line up I'm expecting. I think Batgirl (existing comic figure) or Robin (BTAS) are probably more likely than Nightwing depending on what source material the set will be based on. If we get Poison Ivy I hope she has a unique face and leg printing again. Her last figure that came out around 2019 with the Mantis head was really underwhelming.

If it includes TNBA Batgirl (we're in an Aslume, let the maniac dream!), I shall buy it entirely... TBH, there is little to no hope it would. But still very interesting, another proof Lego doesn't hate DC.

I doubt it's going to be the comic version, since comics tend to be very inconsistent. More probably B:TAS or something...

But how would they do a figure of him, we have no idea who he is :P

Which is why they'll do exactly that! I mean they weren't willing to do unique prints for all the figures in the endgame wave, if one is in an orange jumpsuit I think at least half will reuse that torso (perhaps even being the inverse where there's only one figure not dressed like that)

This all depends on source material though, if it's based off BTAS the. I think there's a real chance of them all having their proper costumes as that's 5 figures already done.i

Though with comics I suppose it is almost the same amount with us having 4 currently in production, given how Mr Freeze refuses the BTAS head it COULD mean some budget is saved by using existing prints from the non comic DC sets on shelves but that really only gets us a potential completely reused Harley, Two Face's head and MAYBE shadow box Penguin's one too. As both the Burton and BTAS Catwoman seem far to specific to their media to be used for a general comics set.

Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky here though

I mean most movies have no spider man. In the vast scheme of things he's in a relatively negligible amount of movies. I mean let's takes some random examples.

Source? I have seen men and/or spiders in most movies.

We've come full circle and yet I still laugh as derangedly as if it was the first time. You do a lot of good real life customs, is there a physical lego Man in the works?

Again you are relying on some DC marketing guy being able to distinguish lego minifigures of comic and film superman.

This is an undisputed and massive win for society.

Arkham's actually a genius move figure/print budget wise too. With just two new torsos and one new leg print (if they even do that lol), you can make a ton of new figures with the only exclusive prints being heads and hair. Hopefully a few villains will be costumed up attempting to break their friends out of the aslume, or maybe we get some bat-family members stopping the breakout.

The last time a set included 'over 10 Minifigures' in actually included just 10 Minifigures. :sceptic: which for $400 ain't all that spectacular

I doubt it‘s just some marketing person calling the shots here. The list of license partners comes from higher up in the foodchain. It‘s not like Jeff from marketing randomly saw the mech and decided to add TLG to the list for the announcement he personally put together

Maybe a Gunn Superman set is a retail exclusive set?

I know retail exclusive sets could be exempt from some set listings since they're obviously retail exclusives. But I'm trusting someone from WB/DC marketing over Brick Reporter TBH.

Anyways, since Other people are doing this, here are my guesses for the figure list for the Arkham set:

Batman (reuse), Harley Quinn (reuse), Mr. Freeze (reuse from the 2024 Batmobile), Commissioner Gordon, Joker (prison outfit), Two Face, Poison Ivy (prison outfit),  Arkham Officer #1, Arkham Officer #2, Clayface, Batgirl

That would make 11 minifigures, which is technically over 10 lmao.

Here is my guess: one of the 10 characters included will be Batman

Just a gut feeling

Might not be some random intern, but it's still a suit somewhere. I think there's a pretty high chance that they asked lego to make a superman set, they did, and they didn't see fit to enforce it as specifically a superman movie set.

I'll do you one better- At least two other characters will be from the DC comics franchise.

Not yet. But I shall seek an opportunity...

HELL YEAH. This is my dream set (in theory). Would settle for being on the lower end for the fig count (around 10) if it means a higher quality building and better figs.
