Glad we’re getting another Tumbler. But I’m surprised they’re including Two-Face, seeing as that’s the least child-friendly design in TDK.

I'm not really excited for anymore batmobiles, much rather get comic based cmf series 2. And it seems as for dc sets, lego is targeting dc fans that are older kids and adults- so a comic cmf would have appeal.

 

The only accurate bat vehicle sets I'd buy for sure would be:

1. New batman adventures with batgirl figure (really any set with new adventures batgirl)

 

2. Batpod/the bat tdk trilogy with ledger joker (doesn't need arm printing, pls don't defend lego keeping this guy ucs exclusive)

 

3. 2022 batmobile but it doesn't look like an oversized playset

There’s three set numbers (76304, 76305, 76306) between the DC and Marvel sets. This is just speculation, but I’m guessing those will be DC and probably Superman movie tie-ins.

Set numbers are out there (check, for example, BrickClickers insta). 76301-76303 are the three DC sets. 76307-76314 (except 76312, which is skipped) are all the Marvel sets.

It might not sound like much, but it looks like a LEGO DC renaissance might be on our hands — the last DC set we got without Batman was in 2020.

Let that sink in — DC, a franchise full of hundreds of popular, colorful characters. For four full years, not a single set without Batman.

As for the sets, they are not particularly innovative, but there's a few exciting things for sure.

Another 4+ Batmobile sounds boring. Hope at least it includes Robin or someone other than Joker or Harley Quinn. 

Superman mech is still another mech, which does not interest me in the slightest, but we're finally getting a new Superman minifigure. Lex is a great bonus, too!

I don't think they can improve much on the Scarecrow system Tumbler. Since the piece count is basically the same, I don't think they'll even try — but the price is 20€ higher, hate that stuff right there. TDK might be my least favourite live-action Batman movie (controversial, I know), but it's great they're not keeping the movie exclusive to D2Cs. Fantastic that we're getting this Two-Face variant.

Hmm,🤔 Very interesting! With these in January and then a potential Superman legacy wave in march ( or anywhere between there and august) and our usual summer Bat-wave and potentially a D2C or 2 (. And a logo set I guess 😐.) this could be the start of a full on Lego DC renaissance!!! ‼️‼️‼️🤯

I was thinking the same thing! hopefully there is one more DC set for the Jan wave.

Quite the opposite, re-introducing Superman to LEGO DC (feels ridiculous to even say it) at the beginning of the year is the logical move beforehand making more sets in the Summer.

It’s been out of stock since the morning, and allegedly the limit on s@h is TWO copies  I’ll wait for someone to determine the easiest way to build all 8 before buying any copies anyway  Or maybe it’s actually cheaper to buy just one and bricklink all the other parts

Yeah, I'm actually really curious to see how they'll do it. A new mould will be necessary, otherwise it won't look any good.

Since they can't do half a hairpiece, the burnt side of it will have to be smooth.

The Marvel wave doesn’t sound like it’s gonna require a ton of new pieces, so they should have some budget for that  And give Ledger Joker a better hairpiece too, while we’re at it!
