Season 4: Lazarus Tournament set ideas

Batgirl’s Arena Racer: Tournament Batgirl and Lady Shiva. Build is a black and gold motorcycle.

Tournament Training (£14.99): Tournament Yara Flor (black leather armour with silver accents), Shadow Assassin and Tournament Batman (Zero Year suit)

Tournament Participants Character Pack (£19.99): Ravager (Rose Wilson), Arsenal, Beast Boy and Starfire.

Nightwing’s off-roader (£24.99): Tournament Nightwing (Agent 37 inspired), League of Shadows Assassin, Redhood and Tournament Batgirl (Orphan Inspired)

Shadow Chopper (£44.99): Kyle Rayner, Supergirl, Talia al Ghul, Deathstroke and a Shadow Assassin.

Trigon the Terrible (£64.99): Tournament Nightwing, Demonic Raven, Evil Superboy (New 52 Jon Kent design), Tournament Yara Flor, Damian Wayne (Robin), Etrigan and Tournament Batgirl.

 

This season’s storyline is an amalgamation of sorts of the Lazarus Tournament and New 52’s “The Culling” storylines. Supergirl and Kyle don’t have Tournament suits because they are seen as too OP to be invited.

I know this probably isn’t as strong as the previous season. But I believe that Season 5 will be a banger.

Great to see the return of non-Batman DC sets! 

I hope the Superman Mech will feature a Superman with the newer symbol, but to get him again after so many years is already a great start.

The Tumbler sounds intriguing too, especially if it really comes with a TDK Two-Face

I don't know that I agree. I feel like given how little focus anyone other than batman gets, a comic-based superman set implies they aren't planning on going as hard for the Superman movie. I can't see them suddenly turning around and putting out both film and comic sets for non-batman heroes across multiple waves after nothing for years.

What's a better opportunity to expand LEGO DC to... well, DC instead of just Batman than this?

Like yeah, Batman sets will still technically make more money as of now, but if Superman is a success, DC as a whole will be back in full spotlight. So the merchandise has to reflect that.

Really excited for that Tumbler! I know the part count is only a handful of pieces more than the 2021 version but if the design team found a way to squeeze a Bat-Pod into it, I would be so happy (especially given the humongous price increase since 2021). Given the buildable figure scaled Bat-Pod from this year, surely they’re aware that people would love a minifigure scaled one.

I can’t imagine Lego refusing to cover anything for the Superman film, especially after the intense lull the cinematic side of DC has been in for quite a while now.

I worry they'll reuse that 2012 Superman torso that was last seen in a magazine in like 2021 or something.

I was all set to buy it until I found out that the set only includes physical instructions to build the Bronze Age Batman while the instructions for all the other Batmen can only be viewed digitally on the Lego Builder app. Now I'm highly considering to wait till this goes on sale or just bricklink the unique printed logo bricks and buy the pieces to build the ones I want (particularly sad Battinson).

I mean whilst I understand that is a disappointment but TBH they're not complicated, most of the build could guessed pretty easily from the pictures there, all you really need is a picture from the back.

I'd still say get it over brick linking the unique parts, the rrp is only twice that off an individual Brickhead and I wouldn't be surprised if get sold for 25% off at some point.

Polls are for matters of opinion, it is a matter of fact that both of these statements are false. Given the 2025 regular retail set list has more DC sets in January than we had all year Lego DC might the least dead it's been for years, and noone is forcing TLG to make DC sets so if they hated DC they simply wouldn't make any DC products.

Marvel has dominated the box office for the past dozen years. DC had four box office bombs last year alone. It’s really not that difficult to understand why Marvel gets plenty of sets while DC does not.

Hear me out. What if the Superman in the mech is Absolute Power Superman. Therefore it would make sense for him to have a mech also it gives a reason for Lego to not include a cape. And what if Lex has been confused with the green Amazo from absolute power.

And yes I know I’m crazy. But a jonkler can dream.

 

Either way I’m hoping for a brand new superman print. And Lex, if that’s who it is, to have a power armour print.
