Oh absolutely it wasn't intentional, I have long since come to terms with the fact I think harder about his character than most people who write him, I don't think anyone thinks too hard about including him in anything but far too often in comics the most consistent character work is likely entirely coincidental

Have the Ghostbusters ever depossessed anyone? Just saying the people who's strat is "shoot ghost with big Lazer" might cause some collateral damage if said ghost is in a person.

Remember how all the DC sets have Batman and Joker as the only figures? It was me Renny. I bought 25,000 copies of 76119 in 2019.

I was sick and tired of all those woke “heroes” that plagued the other Batman sets. The weird woman with the lasso, the overpowered alien with laser eyes, the fast man and the half-robot. I’d just had enough of those boring characters.

Remember how Brickheadz Joker was terrorising Lego City? It was me Renny!  I banished your precious Demolition Dummy from Lego City. Brickheadz Joker is merely my Mech Suit.

Superman IS a boring character. Bruce Timm pointed this out when creating STAS. Batman's rogues are either psychotic or miserable and very interesting to observe; Superman's enemies are alien invaders, superpowered mutants or random criminal masterminds in business suits. They are boring.

I am currently watching STAS, and the insane amount of creators' effort put into this show is obvious. And it's still not as good as TNBA or BTAS.

Yeah that was a long shot, WAIT technically LEGO made a non-batman DC character this year, they had a version of Clock King in the Skyline, he's a Green Arrow villain. On a technicality what has been driving us insane hasn't really been happening

Sofia Falcone, Carla Viti, Fish Mooney, Talia al Ghul, Lady Shiva, Catwoman, Magpie, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Riley the Ventriloquist, Minerva Queen of Diamonds, Black Widow (Adam West inventions but still), Jewelee, Tarantula, Nocturna, at least one Copperhead, and that's just off the top of my head.

Half of Batman's entire Rogues Gallery are dudes in suits...Scarface & The Ventiloquist, Mad Hatter, Carmine Falcone, Two-Face, The Riddler, The Penguin, The Joker, some depictions of The Clock King (including BTAS), Black Mask, The Eraser, The Calculator, shall I go on?

Meanwhile, the only suit Superman battles is Lex Luthor, and sometimes Bruno Mannheim. Outside of that, he's got a cyborg, a zombie, an energy vampire, a creepy doll, a literal banshee, an alien intelligence, and a literal god. I'd say Superman takes the gold if that's you're metric for interesting villains.

Batman's villains serve a purpose, as do Superman's. They are dark reflections of the hero's personality traits. Bruce Timm did not understand Superman. To be fair, a lot of writers don't understand Superman. What makes Supes compelling isn't that he's a god among men, it's that he's someone who embodies everything humanity can and should be, using his insane powers for good when most men like him would use them for evil. It's why Lex hates him so much. His issues with Superman are projection, he sees Superman as a threat because that's who he'd be with Supe's power.

I love Batman over Superman, but no Man of Steel slander will be tolerated.

I actually agree with the theory that the half-baked DCEU dealt a terrible blow to Lego DC. Sucks that a comic book theme needs movies to sell, but this is where we're at I guess. It's why I stopped collecting Marvel.
