@Renny The Spaceman What have you done?!!!

Do you realise what evil you have set in motion?!!!!

He’s coming. His oven is piping hot, just like his lust for plastic. No one is safe from his dangerous delicacies.

Even Darkseid cowers in fear at the sound of his name.

Turtle was but the beginning. The true Aslume-level threat lies in Luigi and his Pizzeria.

Aslume Assemble!!!

Idk, I think he's just Italian

That still annoys me. Infinity War is my favourite Marvel movie, but the scene where Thanos calls Spidey an “insect” and he doesn’t reply with something like “Actually, my moniker is based on an arachnid” still bugs me (pun intended). That’s totally something he would say  But I digress.

In my soon to be 20 years on this forum, this has to be my favourite running gag/meme ever created here. The fact that guy was suggesting it unironically makes it even better :laugh_hard:

I feel like evil Thanatos didn't even know Peter had a bug theme, he just called him and insect because he thought he was an annoying creature that he could squash him easily.

Talking about how long we've been on the forum I was looking at the old thread @RedHoodPug posted, I do show up eventually talking about M&Ms ( of course ) and it got me thinking, I joined in 2016 so I've been a member of these forums for a third of my life! It'll be half when I'm 32.

He put fear gas in his pizza....

Also I've just had an epiphany! Those fools in the marvel thread (us) have been discussing the next superhero modular. People have been arguing between the daily planet and the Baxter building (Lex Corp might be a better superman choice though for less overlap with the bulgy Bugle) but of course we know what's coming don't we. It's been obvious,it's here this whole time! It's gonna be Luigi's pizzeria. Now that I see the truth I can't understand how any other option seemed possible, this is the only end!!! Praise Darkseid!

Doesn't inherently contradict me

Why would you praise a lesser power in the presence of not only Luigi but also the one who lurks in his basement?

Also, here's the final results for the poll if anyone's interested

The thing is batman and joker would absolutely survive driving a tank out of a plane mid-flight or half the other stuff Murdock does.

Joker wouldn't bother with parachutes for it though, because there's no fun in safety features. Batman wouldn't bother with a parachute because it's the quickest way down and someone will scoop him up and carry him really awkwardly to safety.

Aren't Brickheadz roughly the same size as the Mario/Luigi digi figs? The reason we don't know what Luigi looks like is because he's a massive man in a regular sized world, controlling his pizza-villain black ops empire from the basement of his restaurant, because he's given up trying to get through the door. His original beef was with the people who work in ergonomic and anthropometric design in Lego City having moved there from the more liberally designed Fabuland, but he needed sustenance and couldn't break the Italian stereotype so started the pizza restaurant as a front. Not only is he behind the Secret Six but his time in Fabuland and his warped mind led him to mastermind Cheetah's Menagerie.

Oh my god, I believe you've cracked this case. The LEGO Luigi's are linked. His digital disguise could mean he's actually a bigger threat than BRICKHEADZ Joker

Those are the movies where he kills a buttload of aliens, too. Great movies but unless you're Captain America, Iron Man, or  in the first half, Thor, the individual characterizations can be a bit off.

Or Batman just falls and tanks the hit. He's done so from orbit before.

Turtle's final mystery unraveled.... LUIGI IS BRICKHEADZ JOKER

Parallels between the Dark Knight and Monty Python's Black Knight are far from coincidental. 'Tis but a scratch...

People don’t hate the Schumacher movies because he didn’t understand Batman. They hate the Schumacher films because he understands Batman far too much.

It's also how he got back to Gotham in TDKR, he simply stowed away on a nearby rocket then jumped off and glided back into Gotham

The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!

Of course! It’s the only thing that can defeat Luigi.

Damn. I believe that wraps up all of the Aslume Storylines. What now?

And some people have the audacity to claim Nolan’s Batman wasn’t a faithful adaptation. 🙄

What Coventry Market character are you?

Exactly, when Bane traps every single cop in Gotham in the sewers it's actually a reference to the insane leaps in logic Batman and Robin would make when deciphering riddles in the Adam West series.

I was thinking of the Failsafe arc in the comics but yeah he's done this surprisingly often.

The Aslume never sleeps, and it's waking dreams are violent, twisted night terrors.

Babel, Justice Buster, Zur-En-Arrh, Failsafe. It's almost like one of the smartest people on the planet who is known for his solidarity and attachment issues, also has issues with trust - including himself.

''Is it just me, or is it getting crazier out there without turtle?'' -Jonkler

''We live in a society, where turtle is a distant memory'' -Jonkelr ZSJL

I heard in the original script of The Dark Knight, Joker's master plan was to steal all of Gotham's Lego supply and use it to make his own sick, evil Shadow Box, shame they went with a different direction instead with the script.

Looks like Lego is trying to sweeten the deal on the Batman 8 in 1 BrickHeadz set after people found out there's only physical instructions for one of them while the rest are all on the app, and the printed logo pieces are doubled sided instead of being their own individual bricks. It's a bold strategy Cotton, let's see if it pays off for them...

Why GL would make great sets in one page:

dc-vs-vampires-world-war-v-1-page-5-john

Unfortunately, since this is an elseworld, so they get brutally slaughtered 2 panels later.

Why??! It’s not even 5 pages in.

(At least Guy should still be alive (I hope))

All Lego (and WB) sees is that there’s no Batman.

Kind of annoying how poorly Lego has executed so many characters that are unlikely to be reproduced ever. Professor Zoom should have had dual molded legs. Cheetah 2018 looks terrible with no arm or tail printing! She needed her spots it looks so awkward having plain arms with her spotted torso. Shazam never got his boot printing, and given they should be golden not yellow, we can't use the Flash's legs as a substitute the way we can for Firestorm. Who by the way, needed printing as well. Just so many characters who will likely only have mid interpretations for as long as we'll know.

And then the characters I'd love to see! I would love Circe, Giganta, Star Sapphire, Kilowog, Larfleeze, the Metal Men, Doom Patrol etc. Sucks they'll likely never be produced. Such a shame how DC in general has been handled, but Lego DC especially. Hopefully next summer wave surprises us.
