Just let them get the Trinity out of the way. DC appears to be cooking with Absolute Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter.

Can’t wait for absolute Family Guy. No family, no cutaways, no Meg. Along with his ex-military partner Brian, he must defeat Glen Quagmire and redefine what it truly means to be a Family Guy.

But I’m even more excited for Absolute Porky Pig and Absolute Kermit

Even when he was at his Lois, he was a true Family Guy.

It's insane that bricklink doesn't list the Demolition Dummy pop badge from Legoland but does for most of the other series one characters, it definitely exists but someone doesn't want us finding it...

The only reason he's on the justice league is while trying to hit Boomerang he just so happened to klonk Luthor on the head and take him out

This conspiracy goes deeper than you think. The whole reason they bought BL was to make sure no listings for that ever saw the light of day.

Absolute(haha)ly correct, but you buried the lead- Luthor got hit in the head with a brick. The League told batman he was in a holding cell to preserve the "no kill rule" thing, but he's DEAD.

There are actually two of them, the first of which being leaked was the worlds first look at the dummy, neither a listed because they can't let them be found

Exactly, and they keep him on the payroll because even though Bruce is useless against his own foes he keeps accidently killing all of their villains. The Absolute version of the court of Owls is just a secret society of heroes and various accomplices in positions of power whose only goal is to make sure Batman never finds out he's broken his rule.

The Absolute Court are easy to spot in public, because if you greet one of them they'll always reply,

"Good morning, and if I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night".

This being the Absolute Bruce, it takes him an exhausting amount of time to decipher this tricky code. In fact his almost superhuman detective inability is the reason that he doesn't have an Absolute Alfred anymore.

Absolute Nightwing’s origin story.

Absolute Flash is just Ezra Miller.

Instead of being rich or a detective, Absolute Batman has the superpower of if he hits someone with a brick they "fall asleep". Turtle would be enraged.

Identity crisis is actually super uncontroversial in this universe because the extent of the story is that batman found out he'd been killing people, somebody instinctively went "nuh uh", and they didn't even have to mindwipe him because he just believed it.

He wanted to pursue a different construction based career and set up as a carpenter in Blüdhaven where he met Catalina Flores, who scarred him so badly he became Absolutely Nightwing, flamboyant costume and all?

I feel there's a very dark part of the story where it's revealed that an as yet untold childhood trauma leaves Absolute Bruce with a very limited vocabulary, his only words now being, "I'm Batman", like Groot but sad.

We, as a matter of fact, never stopped.

The Aslume storylines (so far)

January: Rise of the Aslume

February: Turtle: Month One

March: Aslume Knights: Stupid Metal

April: The Diss of Superman

May: Secrets of the Shadowbox

June: The war of Jonkles and Polls

July: Turtles in Crisis

Early August: Battle for the Shell

Mid August: Court of the Turtles

Late August: Absolute Aslume

September: ?

Which storyline is next? Insanest Night? Sanest Day? Aslume: Age of Mandalorian? Kingdom Insane? Crisis on Infinite Aslumes? Aslume: Earth One?

Or will we go sane? Nah that’s unlikely.

Moon Knight was somewhat mature for a TV-14, but TV-14 isn't MA, and it's been pretty clear they draw the line at the American R and MA ratings.

5. Daredevil (X men '97) with escrima sticks. This isn't very likely but the closest we can get to Netflix Matt.

10. Scarlet Scarab (falcon wing piece)

11. Khonshu (staff)

12. Jake Lockley (gun)

Exhibit A)

(Unrelated note but I think Daredevil from She-Hulk or friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is more likely than from X-Men, and Daredevils show may be inappropriate for kids but unlike punisher the character in general isn't so I hope we do see some more versions after the Bugle one, unlike Punisher who I don't care about getting other versions of ( he's my least favourite marvel character)).

It all makes sense now. Mara Jade was supposed to be one of the SW anniversary figures but when they made them @Mandalorianknight's cravings would overpower him and he'd steal them all straight from the factory, and a bit like a werewolf on the night of the full moon he'd awaken with no idea of what he's done except for a compulsive need for Lego Mara Jades . In the end they had to replace her with Nein Numb who would have otherwise just been a standard fig.

Now you're on MY hit list. I'm a completely innocent Mara Jade fan with absolutely no criminal activity going on. Any resemblance this story has to the fact that I can't open that one cabinet in my house, or why I'm so tired all the time and the sand circle around my bed always has footsteps when I wake up, or that dream I had last night where I woke up in Europe and this Arthur Harrow guy was trying to take a lego kyber crystal from me and I kept blacking out and waking up with lightsabered bodies around me- it's all purely theoretical.

I am going to suggest that one of these things has already begun. A Marvel character has infiltrated this thread. Jake Lockley AKA Mandalorian Knight. Now I will admit that I've never actually read a moon knight comic ( the only marvel stuff I've  read is either FF, X-Men, Spider-Man(or related characters) or Avengers) but in the show his two other personalities have M-something Knight alter egos. Moon Knight for Mark and Mister Knight for Stephen so maybe Jake's is Mandalorian Knight.

Of course @Mandalorianknight doesn't even know that he is moon knight but it explains the blackouts and the Arthur Harrow fight. The Mara Jades is his subconscious influence on the other personalities.

Edit- WTF? I should've been more careful about doxxing someone. Sorry. @jakeLockley

I mean we did just find out that the riddler is robotnik's grandfather, it must be a family catchphrase.

Dude that Tarantula joke is DARK. I do like the idea of absolutely nightwing being full on 80s disco nightwing.

The childhood drama was he threw (I mean he was like 10, so it went like three feet) a brick at a mugger and accidentally hit his parents instead. He got it from the police saying his parent's killer was a "bad man", and young Bruce tried to confess- but no one would believe that a 10 year old killed his parents with a brick.

This is completely unrelated but I'm kind of fine with the more kid friendly stories' version of Talia just having stolen Bruce's DNA to make Damian. Still creepy, but not as horrible (Which helps with the "potentially redeemable Talia" stuff they sometimes like to do with Damian), and since they're never gonna have batman actually be effected by that happening to him. Invincible handles the attack a lot better by really showing us how much it haunts Mark.

Bravo. Though your detection of Jake Lockly will undoubtedly lead to the brutal and imminent execution of everyone on this thread.

But still well-done. You should be the brains for Absolute Batman.

This thread being the Aslume is living up to it's name, for a second I couldn't think if I was on the DC or Marvel thread considering you're talking about Marvel CMF 3, well done guys, you managed to make me question my sanity, What are we, some kind of Aslume Squad ?

Even without Turtle, the insanity continues, and I'm all here for it :D

GUYS GUYS GUYS, WHAT IF SUPERMAN WAS NOT SUPERMAN BUT JUST A GUY COVERED IN TAR WHO COULD FLY, ''THERE'S A TAR MAN, WAITING IN THE SKY''  (Tar is the stuff put on roads btw)

Perhaps an out of nowhere question, but is there information out there to suggest that Lego is going to do anything more with the BTAS sets?

We know three sets coming this January. The only one that may be BtAS based is the 4+ Batmobile, but 4+ sets tend to be comic based, so I doubt it. Beyond that, it’s possible, but there’s no indication it will happen.

Does that make his dad Colonel Stars and Stripes?

While he was Absolute Robin he was a bit more carefree and fun loving, known for his out-there catchphrase "crack an egg on it!", but after the life-changing incident with Tarantula his mind fought the trauma by becoming a lot more serious and incredibly — or Absolutely — disco, adopting a more appropriate catchphrase of "break it down".

It was bad luck that day, picking up the one brick that despite being very hard was also a little bit bouncy. Only much later did that particular brick play a part in the design of the Brickarang.

(Hey, I might be extremely averse to the use of certain words, but I think we all know that's how I ended up here)

So keen for a new two face - then yet again, after his last variation being somewhat basic apart from the face print, I don't know if it would live up to expectations.

What a bummer 😔 Guess it's just going to be more Tim Burton Batman.

No hate by the way, just there are so many other Batman properties to explore if Lego is so unwilling to expand to other heroes.

Like although the movies are painful, one mainly in particular than the other, at least move into Batman Forever and Batman & Robin for the sake of something different. Yes I may groan at the sight of a diorama with Mr Freeze riding a frozen dino or something alongside a god awful pun for a quote - same with a Riddler in a sparkling body suit with fairy floss for hair - but hey, something fresh and new characters nonetheless 😆😐

The Blackest Night falls from the skies,

The darkness grows and all the light dies,

We crave your hearts and your demise,

By my black-hand the dead shall RISE!!!

Not sure how everyone else is going resurrect themselves. I’ve already taken the Black Lantern option. Good luck.

I’m almost as dead as the DC theme.

So many to choose from. Forgotten/ignored death, die off-page, Lazarus pit, infinite resurrection, become undead, being undead already, only presumed dead, brought back by one's future power set ( aka death by origin story), brought back by a mad scientist, being immortal anyway, magically granted a certain number of lives, saved from the mortal realm to become a god or avatar, restored by dark magic, be thrown into a resurrection machine, be a sentient mechanoid and just get rebuilt, get hit by a device that actually transports you through time/space/dimensions, become a living paradox, break a curse, use an elixir, be reborn through botanical means, wait for one's husband/stalker to discover a cure and cryogenically unfreeze you, be a mad scientist and create a scenario that kills you and brings you back, become posthuman thanks to the interference of Fourth World tech, have your mind/personality downloaded onto a chip and inserted into another person, have your brain transplanted into an another person or an animal, become reconstituted after exploding due to being overwhelmed by the sheer awesomeness of one's enemy, have a new containment suit built because the last one got destroyed during a self inflicted explosion, transfer one's essence from lifeform to lifeform, educate a large primate in the intricacies of putting a brain in a jar for the purposes of self preservation, reassemble oneself, get better, be granted another life after spending an afterlife in a magical object, age prematurely based on the seasons only to shed one's skin and start again, be a resurrection tree that can spawn human avatars, be magically bound to another being, discover an elixir and consume the entire thing, voodoo, get revived at the gradual cost of one's soul, be engineered to keep coming back from the dead with an immunity to each previous means of death, be of a species that naturally resurrects.

I might have missed a few.

I think Lego's done using the Burton movies for set ideas, they've pretty much exhausted every major vehicle possibility besides the Batmissile or Batskiboat from Returns that they refuse to make.

And there's not much point in trying to look for a pattern either for which Batman show/movie they're currently getting inspiration from to make sets off of, it's all over the place this year. In 2021 it was the 60s TV show with the minifigure scale Batmobile and the Adam West cowl, and then later in the year it was the Nolan trilogy with the minifig scale and D2C Tumbler. 2022 was obviously the year of The Batman movie sets, and last year was really when Lego was invested in the Burton movies because of Keaton's return in The Flash.

This year is a mix of a bunch of different Batman iterations, and now that I think about it, it's probably to help celebrate his 85th anniversary. We got the BTAS Gotham Skyline and the respective Batmobile but then later in the year we're going back to the 60s show with the Icons style '66 Batmobile, and then to the Nolan trilogy again with ANOTHER minifigure scale Tumbler even though we just got one. I would personally choose to go all in on making more BTAS sets now that Lego has dipped their toes into that property, but who knows what next year is going to bring with The Batman Part II being delayed to 2026. Maybe some James Gunn Superman tie in sets, but at this point I'd settle for a single set and be more than happy with that.

Honestly the only other DC sets I think we could get/expect next year after January are A Superman (James Gunn movie) set, A D2C Batman set, and maybe a buildable figure of Battinson.

I feel like they could do a Batwing from TAS. It was teased kinda in the Gotham Skyline and it could be a decent $50 set (knowing LEGO, they would price it to $70 though) with Batman, Robin, and Two Face
