Hell yeah! But how about Kyle, Jade and Parallax?

My personal favourite Kyle construct of that era was a pirate galleon which he made to carry the JLA through space.

Random observations, lists, and embedded Youtube videos? It's all mighty sussy if you ask me

Oh come on, the first two are super vague, we've all done them and I've seen plenty of people link tangentially related videos in forums, it happens all the time. Or it has before, I don't check out many other Eurobricks threads anymore

Not to mention the use of bold, coloured (no idea how to do this one—let's just pretend it's red), and UPPERCASED words!

The horror! It's all coming together! (Insert obligatory Kronk GIF.)

Okay, that's a better argument, I didn't even realise until now but I don't know how to do coloured text either and I used to have it in my signature thing, that's a rarer trait.

Idk, these all seem like the things a younger poster on here might do, I don't know if it's enough to say it's him

I didn‘t say it‘s definitely him, just pointing out that some bits are a little suspicious. Wouldn‘t be the first time a banned member came back with a new account

Now you lost me completely at scored. Music is quite possibly the most individual, open-to-interpretation form of art there is. A movie can't be scored better than another movie. How would you even measure it? So you're saying that "Oppenheimer" is the best-scored movie of 2023 because it won an Oscar, right? That's what objectivity means. If not, who would be the judge of that? Because for one, I can name you at least five movies which I think have a better score than Oppenheimer—but it's a subjective opinion.

Okay, now you’ve triggered me. Name me those 5 other films with better scores than Oppenheimer, and I will personally listen through and give a review of each on this forum.

This I‘m curious about as well. 2023 had plenty of good movies, but most of the scores were not memorable at all :snicker: The only ones I personally remember were from Oppenheimer, A Hauting in Venice, The Flash, Wonka, and Indy 5. And Quantumania, but only because it shares the main theme with the first two movies.

We don't speak of the Flash (staring the poster boy for crime sprees) or the mess known as Quantumania. Oh, and there is no Indy 5. So, in essence, a singing candy maker and a Belgian detective go up against the father of the atom bomb... I vote for the nuclear option. (sorry Wonka - please don't feed me to the giant geese!)

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Aftersun. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. (Yes, I'm dead serious. D&D one is a perfect score for what it is.)

I know that's only three—obviously I was exaggerating for effect. Oppenheimer has an incredible score, and I love listening to it.

But you see, that's my point—you're twisting my words. I never said they have a *better* score than Oppenheimer—I said that I like them better

Which is exactly what I'm talking about—no matter how much you argue, how hard you stomp your feet, you won't be able to change my mind. And you won't be able to "objectively" prove me wrong.

Now, get to listening. I don't see what you want to achieve, but you do you.

Half of the accounts following me are the same guy. Choju/kong. He wasn't even a member he posted one fake leak on one account and just came back 50 times within a single day.

I do think it's him, it's honestly kind of nice to have him back especially now that the average member is just as insane and the average post is significantly more off-topic than what he says.

I think I’ve found what the next ucs Batmobile should absolutely be based on.

Why? ...just why? ? I can't even guess as to why Batman would need a Bat dump-truck of such massive proportions!

…what on EARTH-2 are we looking at?! :laugh_hard: It‘s a house on monster truck wheels with one bat emblem on the roof and another completely different design as a cow-catcher?! And he‘s mowing down cops?!

All it needs is some spikes and it‘s the Batman Who Laughs‘ mobile HQ!

Gentlemen. What if I told you this was none other than the Absolute Batmobile?

It appears to be a mining dump truck with a Bat lazily slapped on the front. yes, dump trucks get to that size out here in western North America. Also, agreed on the spikes.

Yeah this is what's most weird to me. Absolute batman having a tank is somewhat in character for DC. But he's murdered at least two police officers in this panel. Were our Absolute Batman jokes real and the actual Absolute Batman has a "kill everyone" rule?

Maybe they call him Absolute Batman because he Absolutely kills people ?

Wouldn't be the first time (First Appearance,Keaton,Bale,Affleck) and I might be the only one who doesn't make a big fuss when I see Batman kill

This is a bit stupid question. Are you DC fan + Marvel fan? Or just DC.

(I am just watching X-Men mansion review. That and Doc Oc are only ones that interest me. I haven't seen any X-Men movies. But as a lego).

Since we got Absolute Batman, when will we get Moderate Martian Manhunter or Uncertain Ultron ?

I thought you said you thought anyone besides Batman was silly and not realistic, you don't like Superman for flying and laser eyes, I can never truly understand your logic my sweet turtle

How's the Turtle Shadowbox Moc coming along btw ?

I don't fully understand these turtles (TNMT) jokes. Anyway I'm going to see Superman (2025) to premiere.

I'm more a DC fan nowadays, hard to enjoy a lot of Marvel stuff when Spider-Man is the one character of theirs I used to really like and most of his stuff is kinda shallow, boring and lead by brand synergy (that last one is my big fear with the DCU, I don't care about shit films but I don't want DC to be like Marvel where every adaptation henceforth needs to be aping the movie for synergy)

See? Not Turtle. Mr RiddlerDC Turtle was a person who spoke a little like you do who went off the deep end and got banned, my compatriots are joking about the idea you might be a new account for him

I agree. There is also enormous pressures around Superman (2025). It will start a new era. I see more DC sets. At the moment I try to collect all DC Super Heroes sets from 2013- to this day.

Riddle me this, @RiddlerDC: do you feel any particular emotions towards the Shadow Box set? Just curious.

Both, more or less equally.

Recently I've even started reading comics. (Tried a few years ago, didn't stick—focused on events and most popular runs instead of a character-focused approach. Spent a whole week making a list and analysing what I'll want to try. I'll go bankrupt at this rate.)

Right now I'm more of a DC guy, at least cinematic-wise. For Marvel only some projects interest me, I don't care for at least half of them.

But DC? Every single one of them is met with intense anticipation. The Penguin, Creature Commandos (Clayface!), Superman, Supergirl, Lanterns, Peacemaker, The Batman Part II, My Adventures with Superman, Batman: Caped Crusader—and those are just the ones fully in production!

I have watched The Penguin first three episodes. It is quality show. We could even get a set from that. The Penguin minifigure would be same. Sofia for example would be interesting figure to own. Marone and Falcone minifigures and "that driver".

Probably Iceberg Lounge is not going to happen. (Adults ONLY set perhaps).
