Hear me out - usually Lex would need a mech to have a chance against Superman, but here Lex is wearing a bodysuit made of basically nothing but kryptonite and that's the reason why Supes is so depowered that he needs a mech to have a chance against Lex. See, it makes perfect sense!

No Turtle, this is not a movie set. It's a generic comic-based one.

We're probably getting one or two in June as par of the movie's merchandise. After all, LEGO was one of the companies mentioned when talking about the big merchandise push for this movie.

If you look closely, you’ll see that Batman’s torso has different printing for the abs and the utility belt, meaning that they made a brand new torso print. A new torso print. One that is effectively the same as the last one. Ya know, to sell you on the set even more. [Upcoming DC minifigure] didn’t need a new print, right?

Theory: Turtle aka Riddler and The Gambit "Leaker" are the same. 

This Gambit leaker came by out of nowhere and recently after that, somehow Turtle returned. Maybe to distract us from the educated wishes his leaks are for next year?

I don't think so to be honest. Turtle has never been a fan of marvel, and Gambit lacks his distinctive style. Plus, Turtle doesn't seem the type to make up leaks, otherwise we'd have been inundated with hundreds of "leakers" claiming Indiana Jones was returning for realsies.

That's a fairly solid name+PFP for a 12year old, to be fair. Your name always stuck out to me from around when I joined, just the all caps THELEGOBATMAN.

My turn for an origin: I liked mandalorians and was excited about the at the time very secretive new show. My first profile picture, the one before my "actual photo of me in a suit and mandalorian helmet" one, was the first official concept art we ever got for the show, back before we knew really anything else about it. I have no idea why I added "knight", I was never a fan of the castle subtheme, assumably I just thought it sounded cool.

man, I remember a lot of the people I talked to on this forum that have since moved on. I think we still see @ArrowBricks sometimes, and obviously @ARC2149Nova (Who I think was the first guy to ask for a part file for one of my MOCs, which was a huge confidence booster for teenage me) has become active again, but others like @Sarah_H7744 stopped posting entirely. Same with @The Stud a year or two ago too- the two of us were pretty active in the same threads.

I've kind of considered people like nostalgia and commando the "new crop" of users, which is funny to me because (guys please do not start saying your ages here especially if you're minors) I think we're probably roughly the same age, and also because I myself have only been on the forum for 5-6 years now. There are probably still people active who have been here for decades.

I also joined before I was 18, but only by 3 months or so. Before that, I was a lurker  There were these two mods I liked because of their funny posts, but they both left on the same day and founded their own forum, which has died a while back.

Okay this new Lex Luthor looks amazing? He has great leg printing and the kryptonite shoulder armor is clever and looks cool. Superman is mid but at least we're getting him! From what I can see of the mech, the cape is built awkwardly and small, but the rest looks appropriate.

I quite enjoy the figures we get of Joker and Two Face in their Nolan verse fits. I agree its lame that Scarecrow came in a Tumblr as well, because in order to have all three villains from the Dark Knight, you basically need to buy 2 of the same set. But maybe I'm crazy, but it looks like the motorcycle can be detached and is built separately from the Tumblr itself. It looks that way based off the image we have. Can't wait to have that confirmed. I sure hope this has the detachable motorcycle.

As for Mr Freeze, he looks nice I guess. Probably gonna skip that set though. Overall, as odd as it sounds, this is the best batch of figures for a Winter Wave we've had in a while. I actually think this is one of the best Luthor figures we've gotten at all. It's like the tiniest revival for the theme it truly is just giving us crumbs. But its been so long with nothing new, even crumbs feel better than nothing. I'm not mad at this and hope its indicative of more things to come.

LEGO DC fans are so easy to satisfy. We get a single Superman mech in a three-set wave and we cheer "We are SO back!"

I hope it's not a one-time thing, and LEGO is actually committed to giving us more than just Batman. Next year could also be potentially big with both Supergirl and The Batman II coming out.

But it genuinely feels so good to see a Superman set after all this time. If we get one based on the movie I'll be the happiest man alive.
