Bit late to the set discussions but here are my thoughts! The Superman mech is probably going to be my first ever mech set purchase (like many others here I'm sure) and I'm very happy to see new prints all around. Interestingly, the belt buckle on the new supes torso seems to match up with Dan Mora's drawings of the modern suit, so I guess this is our new modern comic Superman?! Lex looks great, no notes, although a new face print would've been nice. I wonder if the reasoning behind the mech being Superman's instead of Lex's is recognition on the shelf, a kid might not recognise a Lex Luthor mech but they'll defo recognise something with a big ol' S logo on the front :shrug_oh_well:

Yeah, agreed on all fronts. looking at it I'm pretty sure you're right about the figure's inspiration, makes sense.

That rather conveniently leads me onto the rumoured Arkham D2C, which I'm wondering if it might be partially inspired by the Arkham games. The new Two-Face parts would match really well with his in-game appearance and lego has shown a willingness to reference those games in sets past. Even the Joker in the recent 4+ sets feels like a slight reference with the pinstripes on his suit that I can only remember being a part of the Arkham design. If this were the case I could see a lineup inspired by the first game (Batman, Joker, Harley, Ivy, Croc, Bane, Scarecrow) with some added villains who are in recent circulation (Freeze, Two-Face) and hopefully one or two GCPD characters (Gordon, Cash). Obviously it wouldn't be a direct adaptation design wise for the build or figures, but the 18+ branding could let the designers be a bit more direct with their references

Yeah, if it's made I wouldn't doubt there being references to those games

Thank you for putting it in a spoiler so children don't accidentally stumble upon it, that's such a dark and twisted figure.

Destroyer Of Sausages

The question is, is Evil Bombur a Bombur unshackled by morality of what he can and can't eat, and as such a cannibal or galactus type, or is he something even more twisted- a vegan Bombur?

Being a vegan is a worse crime than being a cannibal, Bombur could never do such a thing like that

He doesn't have that belly from eating plants you know

Are you sure about that? Where’s the fun in fighting alone? Maybe it’s time to form a League of our own.

I have returned to my GL roots. Ready for some heroic daring do.

(Oh, I’m now a Count I guess)

Good idea, the Dummy could take on most threats alone but by having a team he'll have much more fun doing it, plus gives him more time to enjoy his hobbies

Hey I'm sorry to interrupt this forum's aslume but I'd like to know something.

Would anyone in this forum recommend the Batman Construction Figure with the Bat Pod set (76273)? I'm thinking about asking it for Christmas if any of my loved ones need any ideas.

These Construction Figures are VERY hit or miss with me, and the Batman Construction Figures are OK in my book. But I really like the build of the Bat-Pod and think it would look awesome on display next to my 2021 UCS Tumbler.

So is the set worth getting? Thank you for your all hard work in this aslume, It's never a bore reading this forum :roflmao:

I wouldn't pay full price for it, I'm sure somewhere in the US has it on sale, here in Ireland and UK, Smyths have it for 40 euro, it's actually one of the only good looking buildable characters besides Ant-Man, the Bat-Pod really makes it better

Discounts don't matter too much if you're not the one buying it but I tend to agree with @Lego Nostalgia on this. It does look nice, but it's not something I personally plan on getting since I tend to prioritise minifig scale stuff but if I had a bigger budget (and more space!!!) I'd definitely put it on my list.

- Do YOU like ONLY Minifigures scale sets?

- If YOU buy it, you can always sell it (you get almost all money back)

- This is a set YOU have to see LIVE to fully understand it

- What your HEART says?

If Superman (2025) comes in theatres SUMMER 2025. Does that mean that we get 1-3 LEGO Superman sets in summer? (SAME TIME).

Does TLG have any idea what kind of movie it is? I mean locations, characters, plot, accessories, images of the movie, dog and so on... It is difficult to make sets if you don't know nothing about the movie.

Between April and June.

LEGO will do the sets the same way they do for all the other unreleased movies. From materials provided by the studio, such as concept art, information, models etc.

Or they could do what they did for Aquaman and make sets that directly tie in to the movie but use the Comic designs.

(Coolest Clone Lantern yet btw)

I see myself as more of a Grey Jedi, or whatever Baylan Skoll (best Mandoverse (OC) antagonist) is classed as.

Bro I swear people are making up these names now.

I keep getting recommended a video from some star wars game with the title "Skeko chunga tatooine" I genuinely don't know what names are real or not with this anymore

Is there actually a character called Darth Teeth or is that a joke? Impossible to know (please don't actually tell me, it's funnier to not know)

Also plausible, TBF though with Aquaman they had one set before the film came out that was based on the movie then the comic ocean master one was a year later
