Hates? Lego (TLG) is a company not a person, they aren't a conscious entity with thoughts or feelings they cannot feel hate, Thier employees and managers can I suppose but if there was a true dislike then I believe they simply wouldn't make DC sets.

Now I suppose following my logic you could instead say that Lego prioritises Marvel over DC and that it's designer perhaps prefer it. But that still lacks nuance, since these things are multifactorial! I think the true reason is that TLG are seeing a greater demand for other themes than they are for DC and are thusly not fully capitalising on its potential. It's hard to argue that the current pop cultural climate isn't more in favour of Marvel over DC ( Which IMO we can majortively blame on a slew of incompetence in WB) though Batman is still perhaps the world's favourite superhero.

But I have hope that we might be starting to see a relative renaissance for this theme. Where Lego realises it's potential to make more interesting and varied sets and hopefully that'll sell and encourage them to continue, the advent of a new movie universe helps my optimism especially with a proven and competent (but not flawless) Storyteller helming the ship.

I personally think that Clayface being brick built is better. That way you can use spare parts to create morphing weapons.

How are they planning on doing Live action in a Lego world? Haven’t they seen the backlash from the Minecraft movie trailer? And why the hell are they letting Patty Jenkins anywhere near this project after WW1984?

There's Ninjago, Patty Jenkins and Geoff Johns one, one written and directed by Joe Cornish and the other one is directed by Jake Kasdan and I think is based off that rumoured plot from a while back hat was a ripoff of the Playmobil movie

You don't seem to understand that every time you tell him that, you generate another riddler trophy in the Shadow Box.

He's not hurting anyone, leave him be. If the mods seriously enforced the account rules a solid chunk of this forum would be wiped out.

Again, he's not hurting anyone, and a pretty big chunk of the forum either is breaking account rules or was when they made their account (I'll say again, me included, I was a minor when I first made my account). If he's not doing anything egregious I don't think he should be forced offline.

Well he's not lame at least, Evil Bombur is funny evil too so I guess I'd be fine with that.

If Dummy had to get an actor I'm thinking in terms of vibes someone like Weird Al or Richard Kind could probably do it well.

Ideally yeah, but either way he'd need a voice actor.

OFC because of Disney Mara Jade won't be in any of them BUT given how often LEGO Media uses the Dummy among 4 films there's a non zero chance he's in the background somewhere in one of these, if he's next to something that looks the right shade of green or a unnamed red haired woman then we'll count that as a win

Thanks! Sadly, I don't have enough nougat parts, so I had to build him brown. Nevertheless, I think @Lego Nostalgia had a valid argument about my Clayface looking like a baby rancor. I decided to redesign it with a bulkier build and smaller hands:

The rancor comparison I can see, but also that’s because they’re both big brown humanoid creatures hunched over. Something as simple as changing the eyes to yellow studs could perhaps provide more of a distinction. 
 

I agree that it looks good. The shaping and proportions are nice, even though it’s changed it the two images. Honestly, I like them both, and if you used different pieces, you could just change him as he changes his shape, i.e. sometimes he has regular hands and other times, when fighting, he’s bigger and has a hammer hand. 
 

Also, thank you. I always like it when I’m inspired to build, and seeing your Clayface makes me want to make one of my own. I’m currently just using the old Rock Raiders rock monster as Clayface right now.
