Big NOPE to talking politics on EB even in a wild thread like this.

Aslume Civil War averted. (Political one that is)

Thank you very much.

If responding to one is what it took to stop em, cool.

I will see the Aslume has made the Arkham rumors somewhat fuzzy for me. From what I can tell, it's somewhat reliable that the Aslume IS coming, but we don't know anything beyond that- price, whether it's a modular or not, figure count, etc?

Figure count is above ten, that's the only other concrete rumor

Sets 76304 - 76306 are not rumoured to be anything yet. But 76303 and 76307 are the first marvel and last dc. I’m sure these 3 sets are dc and 1 or 2 will be superman and 1 or 2 will be Batman summer sets and Lego will bleed those minifigs into arkham

I’m going to say 12 minifigs in Arkham

batman

1 sidekick (robin/batgirl)

2 normal guards

harleen

dr crane

strange

joker

freeze

ivy

mad hatter

riddler

No matter how many people you venomise though by LEGO rules you can NEVER make a black suit Spidey, Spiderham, Green Goblin or Doc Ock are fair game but under no circumstances can you make Symbiote Spidey.

That's sad. Black suit Spiderman is incredible!

Those 3 could just as well be Marvel. Lego likes to jump around with the set numbers. Case in point, set 76328 released this fall while 76300 is releasing this summer. Both are DC. Another possibility is Lego is just skipping those numbers. They skip numbers all the time, though typically not all in a row like that. The guy who leaked the Arkham info claimed it’s the only other DC set next year and Falconfan has sort of hinted the mech is all we’re getting for Superman. I’m willing to bet those 3 sets are either Marvel or just got skipped.

Ah ok I don’t know much about set numbers but thought I found a missing piece. If that’s the case in Arkham they must be having jumpsuits. But that’s ridiculous with superman if it’s only getting 1 set at least be on the movie even if it’s £10 do what they did with the cheapest man of steel set.

Arkham is getting 10+ figures. Currently on the shelf we have Mr Freeze, Joker, Harley Quinn, Batman, and either Batgirl or Catwoman depending on whether they go the BtAS or comic route (Harley can work for both IMO). So that’s 5 characters they can recycle. Now, look at the X-Mansion. We got 5 new figures, 4 recycles with some part changes, and 1 made with pursuit pieces. Assuming we get something similar, we can easily pass the 10 minifigure count using recycled characters and purist pieces for guards.

edit: it’s also worth noting that out of the 5 new figures, 3 of them got leg printing and 4 got new head prints and of the recycled figures, one got new legs and one got a new head. Characters like Riddler, Two Face, Mad Hatter, and Scarecrow could get away without leg printing. Two Face could recycle the head from the Tumbler set (if he’s comic based). Poison Ivy could also get away with a recycled female head. So, arguably, Lego could make more than 5 characters without increasing the number of new printed pieces.

So if the X-mansion, Star Destroyer, and Yavin are anything to go off of, figure count is 8-10.

Would Officer Balls be one of them?

Yeah, probably

What if we split Officer Balls in two—that way we'll have Officer Ball and his twin brother Officer Ball!

This will make it possible to fill both minifigure guard spots with Officer Balls.

Testicular tortion reference?????

Or we could bring in his veteran father

Then we’d have Major Balls

You know, I just realised who else is returning at the same time as blacktron.

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance most Fowl is releasing globally in early January.

Is Feathers McGraw the new commander of the Blacktron armada?!!!?

Don’t forget the greatly anticipated arrival of lá Tom and of lé Jerry.

It could all be connected. I wouldn’t know, since I still haven’t fixed my communications system.

Mystery Mousketools are a scam. Mine ended up being a mirror, with a sticky note that had the lyrics to some old Michael Jackson song.

Me when I would be wise to surrender

But no yeah if this has more than 15 figures I'd be shocked. They realistically should be able to re-use city parts for the Arkham staff and a single pair of new prints for prisoner torsos to get us like 20-25 figures without a crazy print budget, but this is Lego DC, who's strategy appears to be "Let's forget about almost anyone not named Batman or Jonkler and release slightly different batmobiles with higher and higher prices, even after our summer 2023 batmobile sold so poorly it's being packaged with two other sets for almost the same price as it was individually", so it'll be like 8-10.

The Scarif technicians in Rogue One wore all black, you might be able to get some of those guys to help out.

Uncharacteristically wholesome move from The Mouse.
