thephantasm Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 (edited) Well my focus wasn't really on why this theme died which has been discussed... extensively, its why i dont really miss or care for lego's previous versions of comic sets, besides the figures And many figs i just passed on because of how expensive they were to order individually because of the set prices Edited November 25, 2024 by thephantasm Quote

Which is why we continue to get cars for Spider-Man despite him being 1) broke and 2) in NYC. How can you be Spider-Man and own any sort of vehicle?! ...This also applies to the first Spider-Verse movie, where he had an entire Spider-Cave under his house!! I mean, where did he get the money to construct it?! Is he goddamn Batman, is he rich or is he stupid?! Quote

Plot twist: Batman merch is actually a ploy by his enemies in order to decrease the fear surrounding him and make him into a friendlier, and thus less threatening presence. Quote

I was the one who came up with the line "Fortress Maximus I'm gonna kill you and you're gonna die I'm gonna kill you you're gonna die now" said in a somewhat monotone yet fast voice, as well as the realization that japan was actually trying to say "enlarge" whenever they say the japanese translation of "transform", because c'mon, why would they try to say "transform" in Transformers? 3 hours ago, psqidexslizer said: They couldn’t make the Italian dub be the best version of that movie. I like Man of Steel, but I can't deny it wouldn't have been improved by a post credits scene where it's revealed that the family Superman snapped Zod's neck to save were actually Luigi (of Luigi's pizza fame)'s family. Leading to the following scene: Luigi the Pizza Guy *frantically doing stereotypical italian hand gestures*: My machinations have come to fruition, like-a a delicious pizza-pie. The Man of Steel has been forced to kill his own species. The dramatic mental toll this-a will take on him is almost as devastating as when someone is forced to watch pineapple be put on pizza. *From the shadows, a being BAMFS into the room. We see only the red glow of their eyes.* Luigi draws his pizza cutter, the blade gleaming in the dark room: Who-a goes there? Reveal yourself, or I'll-a cut you into eight slices. The being: Not sure how I got to this universe. Something to do with bats and men, I think. Luigi: You're-a an enemy of the batman? The being: Of a bat-man, in a way. Luigi: Well, then it's-a about time for us to pay him a visit. The being: No.... *the shadowy figure grins, bearing gleaming, sharp teeth, as he steps from the shadows* MORBIUS: It's Morbin Time. 2 hours ago, Rwbricks said: Plot twist: Batman merch is actually a ploy by his enemies in order to decrease the fear surrounding him and make him into a friendlier, and thus less threatening presence. I feel like this would work in his favor overall. The general civilians, especially children, who see/buy the merch will think of batman in a more positive way, which helps him in situations like keeping kids he's rescuing calm, but if criminals are still getting their spines fractured every night that fear will still spread. B:TAS Batman is actually one of the least fear-inspiring versions of the character. While TNBA Batman is more lore-accurate, the B:TAS version resembles Superman even more than Supes himself in S:TAS, which I always found weird. "Harvey! Let me help you!" The real Batman would've said something like In my opinion, Batman should never be such a nice guy Quote
