I already said no more discussion of real world history stuff. I will lock this topic for 12 hours so you can have a breather.

I have also now renamed this topic ASLUME and opened and pinned the new 2025 one for on-topic discussion about DC Superheroes sets.

GAYS!

Is Red Hulks crystal purple in the LEGO Iron Man car seT?

COuld this mean a Purple Rock Monster is coming???

Honestly I think they could use the minion body and arms with a new head part similar to a shorter opaque version of the new  neverwitch's raven domes to make modern Rock monsters in a power miners style.

The new ninjago dragons rising show has had rock monsters in it and one is even an elemental master.

I was very excited and swiftly disappointed looking this up. The designs are fine (well as fine as CG monsters in Ninjago have ever looked, that yeti thing from the ghost season still haunts my dreams) but don't match the effortless charm of the Power Miners figs, this is heartbreaking. But on the other hand heartwarming that Rock Monsters can be elemental masters so it's a give and take ig

The minion thing is a clever idea, when LEGO gets around to 2000s nostalgia I imagine Power Miners would be one of the stand outs, that'd be a clever work around since LEGO are too cowardly to bring back the old Rock Monster piece.

They should make money for doing that by getting rid of every single star wars piece but the Watto head.

Just a query, does that also apply to ancient history that’s barely relevant to current circumstances like the Romans and Dinosaurs?

Dose this mean we can discuss any topic in this thread now?

Dinosaurs were created by the toy companies to boost sales, so I don’t see why that would count as history.

We didn't. President Truman said this only not to look dumb after his previous statement that the Russians are too stupid in general to create an atomic bomb themselves. Everything that the modern Russian intelligence is boasting of is gibberish.

It's hard to argue with people who accuse me of justifying the destruction of Alderaan (which I didn't), yet think that the nuclear bombings were completely normal and totally justified - because Stalin wanted to "enslave" the entire Western Europe! Not some imaginary planet was blown up - thousands of real people were murdered, thousands wounded the most henious way possible. People who were totally not guilty of IJA's atrocious warcrimes (not remembered now anywhere in the Western world). That's what I call moral values dissonance.

The aesthetic has nothing to do with morality. From that point of view, Batman is totally a fascist. When someone calls anyone a fascist, they don't understand the meaning of the word because Dimitrov's definition is unknown to anyone. Dude may wear a long black trenchcoat and do brutal things, but it doesn't make him a fascist (again, the beforementioned Batman, whom I don't like as a person, but calling him a fascist is obviously stupid). Dude may wear a nice suit and do fascist things (Lex Luthor), but that's totally different. He may in fact be the story's good guy! :sarcasm_hmpf:

I desperately want to cease debating, seeing that it's utterly pointless, but I can't help myself. I just wish this thread is closed for further replies as soon as possible.

DC is dead. Batman is dead. WB is dead. Long live whatever replaces them.

Abe Lincolin was the first American Communist. He was an atheist, and also a great friend of Carl Marx. I wouldn't be surprised if Stalin got some of his inspiration from Lincolin!

Edit. I forgot that no history is permitted. Sorry.

I guess the Aslume did go out with a nuclear bang… and I was the one who helped bring it about. Now I have become De Ath, De S Troyer of Aslumes.

1999 Watto is perfection. Change my mind.

But it isn't destroyed, it not only lives on but it officially has that as a title. As much as it grinds me seeing that ridiculous word, I am pleased that the actions of a few have changed the system. Just don't mention politics past or present and we live on in perpetuity.

New Watto is too complicated. Too many colors. It hurts my eyes. I want to play with Legos, not go to one of those modern “art” exhibitions.

Romans are probably pushing it in certain circumstances, Dinos are almost certainly fine.

Let's go around and say our favourite Dinos, mine's the Stigmoloch

I can see the argument, I don't think it's a particularly big downgrade

Man, Creature Commandos is so good. The animation looks fantastic, and it's just so much fun. Can't wait to see where it's going next.

Also, give me Clayface!

Not seen it, apparently Shaggy is in a crowd shot? Is Scooby Doo the the first film in the DCU?????

Just in a quick montage as a background character in a single shot. Didn't even notice him.

But Scooby-Doo would be so peak in the DCU.

Hang on. He’s right. We’re no longer bound by the laws of predominantly DC linked discussion.

We’ve become the Flying Dutchman of Eurobricks. We’re cursed to insanity. The Aslume must always have a turtle.

Now. Speaking of PoTC: How old is Jack Sparrow canonically? He’s experienced 3 fully grown generations of Turners and 2 generations of Barbarossas on his crew.

Not to jinx it but it might be for the better, keeps it to people who want to be here

Scooby Doo will save this franchise, LEGO will do non Batman DC characters exclusively in new Scooby Doo sets as the special guest star.

Nobody wants to be here. This is just where the mods stuck the crazies.

60 years old or less by the end of the last movie, which takes place in 1751

It's better to just forget about the 5th movie entirely

Best season. I don't care if they made Jay into sick twisted Evil Jay who thinks Little Ceasers Crazy Bread is Normal Bread.

The Roman Empire was awesome. Wish I could be part of it again.

Specifically the version from the game who walks super, super slowly and flies around with some sort of melee lightning gun.
