Not everyone knows that? Some has not seen the movie. If you look that BOOK you see a lot of lego stuff. For example how they make LEGO DC sets. Figures, vehicles, locations and so on.

But an awful lot of people who are into Lego/DC do know it and shared the excitement and information inside at the time seven years ago. It's not how they make Lego sets, it's how the film's designers conceived vehicles that would look good on screen that could also work as sets. Much like the figures, they went through a lot of characters that had to work in the story and translate into minifigure form. I have that book, I bought it when it came out and I appreciate the excitement on first seeing it. It's a great book but it's not new information and isn't likely to be tapped for set ideas anytime soon.

Best, and most accurate adaptation of Batman’s OPness IMO. It’s a excellent family film.

Unfortunately there was no Sequel as it was cancelled. What’s worse is that the writer said that it was going to focus on the Superfriends. Imagine the sets we could have gotten!

This thread truly is an aslume. It has more pages than the Marvel thread despite only having a fraction of the sets, yet what feels like 80% of the discussion has nothing to do with said sets Are y’all stupid?

But it's boring to not discuss anything concerning DC. There must be some activity...

I've got an idea. On the Star Wars forum, there is a thread "Wishlist: future sets and minifigures". Since Lego DC is going to die, why shouldn't we entertain ourselves with our own wishes in a special thread? Many people wrote here what they would've liked to get from Lego DC, but it doesn't seem to be the right place...

TLG is going to shut down Lego DC, so they are producing the last (and best) sets

I don't mind keeping some discussion, nor do I mind the aslume jokes so long as we're also talking about something relevant alongside it, but yeah, it does sort of feel like we're now just randomly going "What about this, could this be a set?" or asking if the theme is dead (not yet, but on the way out if nothing changes)

Not just the superfriends... you ever hear what other heroes they were gonna make a play to include? I don't think they ever got any sort of agreement, but the goal would be the first time it happened in movie history. It would make secret wars look like a solo movie.

the more I think about the unknown Superhero set releasing October,  the more I want it to be an Arkham Asylum based on the BAS and include clayface, mad hatter, as per the sticker designs on the skyline set and for good measure a BAS batboat. 

time will tell!

We haven't had any concrete info or even rumors about it, but the number of sets has been trending down for awhile now, and sales of what we do get aren't great from what we can see. If this wave doesn't do well, and ESPECIALLY if lego does any superman 2025 sets and THEY fail, it's not altogether unlikely lego decides the license isn't worth the fee.

Yes this is the one I really want! 
a big £500 one with courtyard, lots of characters and cells and based on comics/maybe the Arkham tv show if I like it. 
I can’t see it being btas unless they do another wave next year. However I think they were planning to do the Batman 2. Might not be enough time to start bats sets for 2025 but idk.
