No. The Batman and TLBM are a few of many sub-themes, not themes themselves. DC Superheroes is a theme, as is CITY and Star Wars, whereas Batman 1989, Volcano Explorers and The Last Jedi are not themes, but subdivisions of those themes I listed before. Also, they may be in a multiverse, but more than one Batman in the same universe? The laws of physics would break if this were so... Because Batman.

First of all, there is no way Lego would ever consider making a set based on the death of man’s parents. Zero. If he were ever made, he would use recycled prints and therefore could not be considered exclusive.

Third, and I cannot stress this enough, Jonkler 2 is not appropriate for kids. If you have kids now or find some tagging along with you when you go to watch Jonkler 2, do not let them inside. No matter how hard they fight, just remember that you are bigger and stronger and any amount of violence is justified to protect their innocence.

If you work in <insert that tiresome argument> I think you'd have every single eurobricks jokes in the comment. Man, the constant "but what if we got a set based on R-rated properties", the comment type you're emulating, Luigi's pizza, eating a minifigure as a bet, etc

I'm laughing so much rn at this forum, the Marvel one wishes it could be insane like our little aslume we have created, it's Lego's fault for making us insane due to lack of DC sets, but hey I'm an inmate from the aslume so don't believe everything I say, put me back in the padded cell writing ''Lego will make Rated-R sets'' 100 times in the blood of my cellmate since he died because he couldn't take it anymore since he kept getting Jonkler and Man in every set Lego makes now.

Why Batman, DC Super Heroes and The LEGO Batman Movie are listed separately own themes? Also Batman CMF series (4 of them). Well because they are different themes. That is also a reason why we won't get 2017-18 again... SAD but TRUE.

I meant it as a joke, I do know who all those characters are. Just a mix between how lego always seems to only make batman, joker, and harley and their respective dumb arkham subreddit names

I hope they do make a new design for Barbara, but honestly i wouldn’t be surprised if it was just the rebirth design legos been using since 2020, hopefully they reintroduce the cowl they used in 2014.

I would be shocked if it wasn't this. It's possible, but given how little effort this theme gets I just can't see them throwing a new batgirl into a juniors set like that. The most we tend to get is a slightly different Joker or whatever.

I fully expect them to recycle one of the three Jonkler minifigs from last year  Batgirl hasn’t shown up since 2021, so the chances for a new design for her aren’t too bad I think

That's what I meant- the last juniors set had a slightly different jonkler so that's the caliber of stuff I expect to get.

They might update the printing slightly, but I'd be shocked if this batgirl had a cowl or was a significantly different design. I feel like they chose the design they did for the most recent batgirl because it meant they didn't need a new mold.

What piece do we think they’ll use for Freeze’s armor? Bringing back the mold from TLBM might be the best bet, unless they did a new piece with the dome connection like in the Flying Saucer Costume guy.

I'm expecting the Mysterio fishbowl over the Wrecker armor and will be pleasantly surprised if it's a new mold.

It was published under Black Label so was straddling the canonicity line, writer Geoff Johns said it was canon, artist Jason Fabok said it wasn't. Hopefully that clears things up.

You can say what you want about the DCEU, but it understood how seriously DC takes canonical consistency.

Guys! Do we have any idea is BATMAN involved? If he is like in Flash movie. Could we get 1 or more sets? There is 1 cancelled Flash set BUT if Batman has BIG ROLE in this movie... maybe 2-3 sets? 2024-25...

• Gunn confirmed that Batman is not set to appear in this movie.
• Batman being involved or not has no bearing on the sets we might get. Superman should be able to sell merch on his own  Even if Batsy was in the movie, he’d not have a big enough role to warrant a set.
• The movie gets released next summer, so why would there be sets this year already?

Zdarsky is trying too hard to emulate Morrison but with added paranoia, so everything appears to be canon with him.

I have to admit, I‘m curious how they‘ll handle it, since they seemingly confirmed that Gardner will have his signature bowl cut  Based on that alone, I assume his role will be rather comical.

It‘s exciting to think that TLG may be working on the sets as we speak, since I‘d assume them to launch next May. I really hope they‘ll have somewhat of a budget for the subtheme, given they have to share it with Marvel who undoubtedly is gonna use quite a big chunk of it for the F4 sets alone

I will NOT go to movie theatre -> Superman: Legacy. I am interested Batman. I have both Justice League movies + Batman vs Superman in (Apple TV) BECAUSE ... well you now the answer... 

DC for me is Batman. He is superhero without supernatural ability. I hate super natural abilities. Anyway, let's collect all Batman related sets LEGO has ever made. Including minifigures. How many are there. I would say maybe 250 at least. AND cost... mmmm.... maybe 25,000 euros / dollars.
