Oh yeah. In a heartbeat. Spider-Man's archenemy is basically a superpowered, rich Joker, for one thing.

This is the single greatest lego or batman headcanon of all time. Brickheadz joker is the ultimate villain.

Though, wouldn't his massively enhanced size over the lego batman minifigure mean he has powers?

Well in my LEGO Batman universe...

Brickheadz:

41588: The Joker (The BOSS of all the bosses)

TLBM:

  1. Joker (replica)
  2. Riddler
  3. Penguin
  4. Scaregrow
  5. Bane
  6. Two-Face
  7. Calculator
  8. Calendar Man
  9. Red Hood
  10. Eraser
  11. Orca
  12. March Harriet
  13. Clock King

So in my LEGO Batman universe, Brickheadz Joker is the Boss. And all those other 13 ... YES! Unlucky number work for the BIG boss. They all form "Purple-13" (mafia) of super criminals. Their BASE is Jokerland. A BIG amusement park full of clowns and small bosses like Eraser or Red Hood. Bigger bosses like Two-Face or Scarecrow run drug and gun business... well to ne honest "poison gas" business is run by scarecrow.

Regular Mafia families like Falcone, Maroni, Sullivan, Skeever... have formed an alliance against "Purple-13". They have to. Otherwise they won't survive.

Red hood is a double agent right?

I saw that too, but it is what the french would call Le Bullshité.

If there's one thing consistent about Red Hood's character, it's his loyalty to the Joker.

I didn't see whatever video this is, but I think the idea that spider-man would do better against batman's rogues than batman against spider-man's is totally accurate, mostly owing to the fact that spider-man is simply stronger than batman. That's not saying he's a better character, but on an objective level, he is more powerful, owing to his powers. (And he is also a genius just like batman). I think the biggest example of this is that they both have the same character archtype with Joker and Goblin- laughing fiend trying to get them to break down- but Goblin is essentially a souped-up joker, being a billionaire, genius, and having superpowers.

In all fairness, Batman loses to his own villains all the time.

Ahem.. ahem… *Knightfall, Literally the Current Batman Run, Gotham War, Death in the Family.*

What’s even the point of having a villain if the Hero just defeats them all the time. Those types lack threat, (unless it’s the goofy ones then it’s always funny)

Or? BIGGER brains for example.....

TRUE STORY

When you open the Shadow Box, you get 2 rooftops. On LEFT there are Batman's side. On right there are Joker's side.

In near future Bat with long ears has teamed up with his son Damian Wayne, Batgirl, Gordon, and other GCPD. Alfred backs up as a computer hacker. BUT only old Alfred knows a FAMILY SECRET. A secret that will change everything. .......... In about year 1800 Wayne family made TOP SECRET deal with a rat. Well... that rats name is forgotten in time... BUT his grand grand grand son name is, YES! You guessed it... Splinter.

So when Mafia families formed MOB-alliance AND Brickheadz Joker established Purple-13 from as many super villains ... Batman and his small group had no other choice than ask from a master mind, computer hacker, old and warm Alfred... "Alfred, we are in BIG trouble? ... what a hell we are going to do?" ... and old Alfred look at them. Bat with long ears, Damian Wayne aka Robin and Batgirl... "Well we might have 1 more ace on the sleeve... LET ME TELL YOU about the Wayne Family Secret".

...

So in future, when I get more money. Turtles will team up with Batman, Robin, Batgirl and Alfred. They will get some help from Gordon. AND yes also Batman is Brickheadz. BUT guess what? Our loved one has ace on the sleeve as well. 8 in 1 baby! 8 in 1 :)))))

Did you get it? It is 8 against 1. Eight Batmans versus one Joker. So it is going to be a tough battle my friends.

Will be continued . . . . .

the idea of brickheadz joker existing in the same world as normal minifigures is horrifying. Imagine if there was a giant, cubical man running the mafia in real life.

Who says they aren't?  I can almost imagine this as an old B/W episode of a sci-fi anthology TV series where it cuts from real actors portraying the five families' dons who have just found out who REALLY pulls the strings (giant cube-guy) to minifigures and a brickheadz being played with by some child / teen, with a old Gangster film playing in the background.

"This of course, is only possible in one place - the Twilight Zone."

To be fair, it is perfectly in line with something they could've done in a lego movie

The thing is your forgetting the motives that characters like Eraser have, which i don’t blame you for since eraser is insanely niche. But his whole motive is that he cleans crime scene evidence, that’s why he’s called the eraser.

I’ve seen people combine the two rogues before ex: Joker x green goblin, harley x hobgoblin, and they always seem like bigger threats when combined

Wall of text incoming but it was just a tumbler post not a video, and the idea was if they swapped cities and rogues. And I can't see you say this without defending Batsy so here goes.

Peter may be a genius but so is Bruce. I'd say in terms of traditional science and invention Peter has Bruce beat, but Bruce is known as the world's greatest detective for a reason, he's the better crime solver of the two, I mean it doesn't really take a genius to outwit the Rhino now does it? ( Or Shocker or Scorpion and so on). If you put Norman and Otto in Gotham they would be considered relatively sane.

I think if it was just about a straight up punch out that Spidey would indeed have the upper hand but the premise was that Batman and Spider-man swapped cities and rogues. Peter could take them in a fight but could he unravel their schemes every single time forever? Also despite JJJ NYC does love Spidey, Gotham would not. I don't think Gotham would be good for his mental health ( is it good for any gothamites?)

Now one thing that makes both Peter and Bruce interesting is that both are simultaneously underdogs and overpowered. Bruce has no powers but money, sidekicks and gadgets galore. Spidey has incredible powers ( though I personally don't like it when they go too far and say yes as strong as hulk and crap like that ) but is permanently broke ( I know they made him a CEO once but again that was IMO a dumb move).

Neither Peter or Bruce tend to kill, and both cities have revolving door type prisons, so the real question is not who would beat the other’s villains ( in think in most cases both could beat the other’s rogues ), but who would catch them faster and mitigate more potential damage, and in that regard as the better detective and thus crime solver Batman has the clear edge. Also Peter won't know what the hell the batsignal is.

I won't pretend I don't have biases here though. I like both characters but Batman and the lore surrounding him is far more interesting to me. It helps that the city of Gotham has character all of it's own, which is harder for Spidey to have since NYC is a real city and in the marvel universe I can't be used as a tool just for his character because it has superheroes pouring out of every nook and cranny, some would say too many superheroes for one city at least most of the other Gotham heroes are batman adjacent, so it can be a better narrative playground for Bruce than NYC is for Petey. In short Gotham was designed for batman and some webheaded neophyte isn't gonna do a better job of being it's protector. (That said I think a fun crossover would be a Batman and Robin dynamic with Bruce and a young Peter or Miles. ). (Though if you like the idea of a comparatively new hero with a More spidey like personally battling it out in Gotham then we've got Batman Beyond for that, Terry is also quite similar is ‘Title card’ in some ways.)

Looking at the rogues it's important to remember that there are a lot of different versions of each. Otto’s superior Spider-Man wouldn't have much trouble with the 1966 Adam West rogues, but Spidey and his amazing friends Peter would die pretty much the instant he stepped in Arkham city. The goblin and joker comparison shows they have vaguely similar motives and personality but I'd argue beyond that and colour scheme they're not really the most similar guys here, that'd probably go to clayface and sandman who are pretty much interchangeable in terms of power set, and black cat is kinda just Catwoman let's not pretend she isn't. Kingpin and penguin also fulfil similar niches, though It does show us the trend that batman has lore intellectual opponents and Spidey more physical opponents. Take the riddler for example, marvel’s knock-off is a much more minor character than the riddler. The two proper schemers that come to mind for Spidey are Otto and Norman, and from my admittedly biased perception I don't see either of them outwitting Bruce to a great extent.

The powerhouse villains like Electro, Killer Croc, Manbat and Vulture are never really as much of a problem as the smart and scheming villains like Doctor Octopus, Hugo Strange, Ra’s Al Ghul or Mysterio. Mostly just because a Villian plan that consists of punch punch punch or blast blast blast isn't as fun to watch. Venom is a hard one to categorise because the symbiote is as much of a power up as a villain, but talking about power ups Venomised batman and lantern ring Spidey would both go hard.

I'm not really trying to say that Bruce is gonna do so much better here, just that he is in no way out matched by Peter. Powered might seem to give Peter the edge but we have to follow the logic set out by the universe where Bruce outplays superpowered individuals time and time again. In a straight up cage fight fight sure, spider wrecks the Gotham villains but duking it out across Gotham? He doesn't have the edge over Bruce there.

Ultimately it is kinda of a stupid question in the first place as the character that wins any such matchup is just always the one the writer thinks makes more sense for the story at the time. But I couldn't just stand here and watch you slander Batman in his own thread.

TL:DR - 905 words isn't too many, try again weakling.

Joker isn't just a serial killer clown, He's very smart (I think his IQ is close to Batman's if not more) He can make Chemical weapons and is great at plotting things.

IMO Batman would only have a hard time with Carnage,Electro and Venom although he does have sound and fire grenades on him, Spider-Man would have a hard time mentally seeing all the things Batman's villains have done (Joker,Zsaz,Prof Pyg,James Gordon Jr,Jane Doe)

Damn, if we continue we're going to be straying away from Lego and becoming a Comic Forum lol, let's get back to Luigi and his Pizza place that's actually a front for making Scarecrow toxins and Drops.

I know that.

I am talking about MY Batman universe... there situation is different. Eraser knows how to clean evidences from crime scene. BUT Joker understands the whole picture.

- Mafia families alliance

- GCPD

- Batman x8 + turtles + Splinter + Robin + Batgirl + Alfred

- Joker (Purple-13)

Whole Gotham City has gone insane. There are actually 4 factions. I just heard that GCPD bosses don't like that Batman and his friends take so much role in this terrible situation. They have taken law in their own hands. They work alone. They should inform GCPD head before taking actions! Bat and Alfred don't give a shit. I have even heard that James "Jim" Gordon is a rat. He works for BAT-faction as a SPY.

So who is corrupted, who is not.

----------

BASE:

BAT-faction (Wayne Manor & Batcave)

GCPD (Gotham City Police Department Headquarter)

Purple-13 (Jokerland amusement park)

Mafia-alliance (Luigi's Pizzeria & RED cellar)

I'm aware that this thread is a bit wayward - but honestly, so is LEGO's DC output. As long as people are having a good time and it stays positive, I'm not going to come in and crack the whip to tell everyone to get back to LEGO when there's just not that much LEGO to discuss here.

As long as there is room for people who want to discuss the actual LEGO to do so, and everything stays clean, you can carry on.

Sooner or later, the Aslume always wins. In this case, it's luigi's pizza and somehow also the ninja turtles are present I guess. Who aren't superpowered.

Well, in my custom universe Lego actually made half the characters I want them to...

The only thing custom I guess is my team lineups, based on what Lego has actually given us:

Justice League (*Founding Member)

  • Superman*
  • Wonder Woman*
  • Batman*
  • The Flash*
  • Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)*
  • Green Lantern (John Stewart)
  • Aquaman*
  • Martian Manhunter*
  • Green Arrow
  • Black Canary
  • Hawkman
  • Shazam
  • Plastic Man

Titans: Nightwing, Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Supergirl, Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz), Blue Beetle, Bumblebee, Superboy, Stargirl, Firestorm

I refuse to acknowledge Hawkgirl until she gets a better helmet. Which knowing Lego, is probably never. Simon only appears when the GLs show up in force. The Superfriends don't exist.
