RedHoodBug, thank you. Well the reason I ask is that... mmm... I made some Bricklink orders. 1 of them was this BIG 4x4 rounded symbol. It was interesting. Then I notice same "logo" in batman torso. We have talked here quite a lot about GREEN lantern, so it was nice to realise that there is some kind of connection. 

Also I have wonder this almost blue BUT red face sinestro... AND now he is also connected. I am starting to realise that TLG could actually take a bit wider touch for LEGO DC. (so many great stories, places, vehicles and CHARACTERS).

It’ s definitely one of the best. But I also thought that Rise of the Third Army, Rise of the First Lantern and Darkseid war (Hal Jordan’s one-shot in particular was just… Beautiful.) were all very good.

Sometimes I think the New 52 was over-hated. Sure there were some things that sucked (Red Hood and the Outlaws and the erasure of the JSA for example) but you have to admit a lot of the updated character designs and Storylines were actually pretty darn cool. Though the execution for a few of those was a bit off.

Aye, but you don't see him in a fully realised Sinestro Corps uniform. For me it floats in that first appearance Vs cameo space.

BONUS QUESTION - tell us in your own words - If TLG would make 1 DC Super Heroes set in 2025, what kind of it would be? Kind of dream come true. BUT not just "Batcave" and just it. Explain shortly what kind of. (For example there is a GIANT lucky coin as a Secret door which leads to Gotham City underground tunnel network ... and so on...).

- Well, guys YOU WONT BELIVE ME! but I would like to have another Shadow Box BUT this time x3 BIGGER and it is not a batcave -> it is a Arkham Asylum. We would have 20 prisoners. BUT in their own clothes and cells. For example Mr. Freeze cell would differ from Poison Ivy and so on.

There would also be a manager of A.A. and 3 officers which each are in charge of parts of the prison. West wing, East wing and the middle prison "kong". There would also be regular guards. 1 for 5 prisoners so total 4. That set would include small vehicle which transport 1 prisoner at a time.

In that box, which is now 3 times BIGGER there is a handle. Like in a suitcase. It is inside but you can pull it out. The frame of the box is made of LEGO Technic parts. You can take the box easily to lego affairs or your friends place and play with it.

dream set would be belle reve, im thinking that this would never happen since it's suicide squad. But I'd love to see the OG roster from the 1980s comic (Rick Flagg, Plastique, Deadshot, captain boomerang, Nightshade, Mindboggler, enchantress) and amanda waller + nemesis.

I have it set up to hold 125 figures (well 121 because Darksied is a big boy)

If anyone is interested in who the characters I'll list them in the spoiler below,

right they are in clusters of 5 but most clusters aren't full and only have 3 in. Quite a few are purist customs and I only have one of each character on display, other wise it's be 50% Bruce Wayne. There are also a couple of characters that I have but aren't in the case: Jessica Cruz, the Calculator and TLBM Twoface, I also left out Jim Gordon because I didn't know where to put him but I've decided I'll put him with the batfam.

1st row (from the top) is the Batfam and Superman related heroes, from left to right we have: Batman, Nighwing (I much prefer the blue over the red for him but I don't have a blue nightwing), Batgirl, Red Hood, Batwoman (she's actually a liberated key chain), Robin [Tim Drake], Alfred Pennyworth (strongest DC character for realises), Spolier, Black-Bat, Robin[Damian Wayne], Batwing, Batmite, Huntress, Superman [Kal-el], Supergirl, Power Girl, Krypto, Superman [Val-Zod]

2nd row is batman/Gotham rogues: the Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, the Penguin, Mister Freeze, Catwoman, the Mime, Condiment King, Magpie, Calander man, Catman, Orca, King Tut, Scarecrow, Maxie Zeus, the Riddler, March Harriet, Manbat, Egghead, Kite-Man, Zodaic man, Hugo Strange, Killer Moth, Bane, The Eraser

The 3rd row is heroes again starting with the lanterns: Simon Baz, Hal Jordan, Guy Gardener, Kyle Rayner, John Stewart, Wonder Woman, Wondergirl, Cyborg, Bumble Bee, Halo, Blue Beetle, Doctor Fate, Martian Manhunter, The Flash [Jay Garrick], the Flash [Barry Allen]

I know about the acquisition of captain marvel, and I know its not a situation unique to superman (In fact its a concept I first discovered regarding doctor who villains), the £82 rather than $130 is because that was the exchange rate of the day and my mind is always drawn to the pound value first as it's what I use in my day to day life.

Yeah I was joking around it, I don't really think it needs changing.

The bespin duel being unavailable here did sting (The target exclusive Superboy stung more though), but it was when we got the Luke from that set (and cloudcity) in the magazine that I decided that we're getting the better deal. especially because (IMO) the magazines have been getting better lately. 

yeah, if I recall correctly the failure of the movie is was prompted the cancelation of GLtAS (Green Lantern the Animated Series). I really hope DC can revive it someday.

I might be misremembering but ithink there a was a screen where a green lantern (probably Hal) on earth had somehow messed up their ring and so they spray painted a baseball bat green and beat some crooks up with it so they wouldn't realise he'd lost his powers. it might've been from a spoof though.

Also I have a question for you as our resident green lantern expert. I recently got a stack of new 52 green lantern books ( namley- Green Lantern Volume 1: Sinestro, Red Lanterns Volume 1: Blood and Rage, Red Lanterns Volume 2: Death of the red Lanterns, Sinestro volume 1: The Demon Within, And Green Lantern: Brightest Day  ) and I was wondering what the best order to read them in was, and if there any other required reading I should do first? (I've already read Blackest Night though that was several years ago)

i was brave enough to google and I tried and from finnish, nothing. Maybe Sphincter Ear (Sulkijalihaksen korva) is just Sphincter Ear.

A better torso would probably be kate bishop from the other comic cmf, ive seen a few people use it before.

I got the one with the new 52 suited up Wonder Woman a few years ago, but the books themselves aren't very useful, it's the figures that are the highlight.

Niles Caulder because he's the leader of my favourite hero team but is far removed from a hero himself.

Naut Le Koi's Silver Age appearance is essentially a fish in a bowl on a humanoid body, and his name is Koi. My favourite era of comics is the Silver Age and this for me is one of the underrated characters.

What else can I say about Planet Master that isn't brilliant? Naturally for a villain he's a scientist. By being exposed to gases released by a meteorite he gained a split personality, and the evil personality turned to a life of crime. Being an astronomer and being affected by a meteor led him to use planets as his theme. This then leads to his costume having Saturn's rings as accessories and weapons based on the planets. Like I said the Silver Age produced some great characters.

The first DC comic I ever read had Gentleman Ghost in it, and I've never forgotten it. I've got Atom & Hawkman 43 which was far cheaper than Flash 88.

I saw Etrigan in the DCAU before I encountered him in the comics, but I bought a collection of Jack Kirby work and that was that.

I've always loved Black Manta. Nothing more to add other than he was for a long time the best thing about Aquaman stories.

B'wana represents more Silver Age weirdness, but I grew a fondness for the character after seeing his story arc in Batman Brave and the Bold.

If I had to narrow The Batmen of All Nations down to one member it would be Knight or Gaucho. I went Gaucho. I could just as easily have gone for an equivalent villain and frankly I can't get better than Dai Laffin.

Ever since I first saw that Carmine Infantino cover of Strange Adventures 205 I've been hooked on Deadman. Being an Eighties kid I grew up with late night, low budget horror, and Deadman is at home with that.

Lobo is Lobo. He has a dog and space dolphins.

I'm a big fan of the lengths comic creators would go to to milk the idea that one's career should determine the superhero/villain identity. Some of them are just rubbish because they were just jumping on the bandwagon, but Planet Master was actually a considered character.

The introduction of the CCA meant that creators had to take their imagination in other directions when conceiving alien characters. They couldn't go too gruesome so went with the tried and tested method of stick to what you know. Where gadgets were based on real objects with a tweak, aliens - and specifically early Green Lanterns - were drawn from fauna and in a couple of cases flora. Naut Le Koi precedes Admiral Akbar's race the Mons Calamari by a good stretch too.

Can you draw with a graphic program? Are you happy with stickers or would you prefer prints? How much money are you willing to spend? Is it a "once in a lifetime"-project or are you going to do it more often?

Well, let's take an example. That set up there. So many stickers. I would be amazing to get those in prints BUT stickers would also be WOW!!! So, I do not know how those are made... or can you buy those somewhere... (confused)

Most copy shops can print your graphics on stickers. No big deal. I detest stickers. In fact my collection is 100% free from them. I draw what I like in gimp (pixel data works for flat surfaces)  or inkscape (for example minifigure heads require vector graphics). Then I use a local company in Germany that specialised on pad printing lego parts. But you can tell it isn´t original. The printing quality is too high. Yellow on black bricks for example is in fact yellow and not this ugly yellowish grey Lego has, because they now only use one layer of colour instead of multibles like 20 years ago.

If you do not want to draw, it becomes complicated. There are many customizers selling custom printed stuff, but you´ll have to be lucky to get, what you want. I know one that has tons of city stuff and Harry Potter, one that has a focus on Super hero minifigures and Star Wars stuff... But I never saw one making stuff for a Batcave. It is also quite expenive.

Today is coming my 2nd Shadow Box. So I might try to do something else with that sticker sheet. Not sure yet. Basically that BATCOMPUTER is the thing.

Well... Learning how to draw stuff like this with gimp takes an hour with youtube tutorials at best, actually drawing them a day. The program is free and the skill very usefull in general. It's just the question, if it is worth the effort to you.

If you want it with less effort you can look for the dimensions story pack from TLBM.

I try to build Batpod for my CUSTOM Shadow Box. This is best 1 I have found. MINIFIGURE SCALE. Does anyone know even better ones? (I have The Shredder minifigure which is helpful with that MOC).

The poorly designed and terribly overpriced remote Batmobile had Arkham Knight Batman as a minifig.

I don´t get why Lego doesn´t make a modular series about an akham games styled gotham. Watchtower, police station, Wayne Tower, Bank.... each with a new villain we didn´t have until now and there we go: City builders would buy them, Superhero-Fans would buy them... With enough dark bluish grey there could even be castle fans buying them selling the figures.

The wrath of the Aslume aside, IIRC the games are M rated so lego wouldn't make direct sets. Something like the batsuit design is the most we'd get, and we have gotten it.
