Not good :/ While we never had a proper Wayne Manor, they did include a small portion of it in the 60s Batcave and then we had the Joker Manor set, which could theoretically be modified into a regular Wayne Manor. In contrast, we never got anything X-Mansion related, and as others have pointed out, X-Men has a new popular show out now while Batsy currently has NOTHING Also, Wayne Manor is essentially just a regular manor. The interesting stuff is in the Batcave underneath, while the X-Mansion features classrooms, training rooms, Cerebro and stuff 23 minutes ago, psqidexslizer said: https://honest-food.net/turtle-soup-recipe-creole/ Quote

Though I'm a hypocrite because he's not even on my list. It's tough out there for a veteran single dad with a horde of cassetticon kids. 1. The Emperor (best in ROTJ. The best just pure evil villain) 2. Green Goblin ("Comics" feels too vague. I'm going with when spidey's punching him in NWH and he's just laughing, or the "it's you" panel from superior spider-man. A second-up for that pure evil villain.) 3. Megatron (G1, Netflix War for Cybertron series, and what little we've seen of him in Skybound. I love the idea of him as this weary, worn-down man who's watching his civilization crumble around him and falling further and further to do what he thinks will bring it back) 4. Darth Vader (OT. The ultimate masked enforcer) 5. Kingpin (Daredevil netflix series. Great example of someone who had a good goal but too much of an "ends justify the means" mentality and lost themselves along the way.) 6. Thragg (Once again, "comics" is too vague, so I'm going to shout out the "he has me" panel. Great as both a "what's best for my people" villain and his evolution throughout the series) 7. Grand Admiral Thrawn (90s Thrawn Trilogy. Later stuff leans into the "good man on the wrong side" trope, and while the 90s thrawn is an excellent leader, he's also unmistakably a villain) 8. The Joker (The Dark Knight. Joker can be good as purely insane, but my favorite interpretation is this, where he only seems insane, has semi-noble goals of taking down the mob, and his fatal flaw is thinking-and trying to prove- that anyone pushed to the point he was pushed to would turn out like him.) 9. The Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (The movie. Usually a "book was better" guy but that was an excellent performance. Another just pure evil guy, but very calculating and analytical) 10. What about you? Well next year has 1 maybe 2 unaccounted for licensed CMFs, and they're just settling the show into it's newest big rebrand which has a big focus on international availability (D+ deal) where hopefully international popularity will increase making a CMF more logical. The 60th was in a weird sort of limbo between eras of the show and only actually had 3 episodes whereas they'll have 1 maybe 2 done before a potential 2025 CMF comes out. First solo BrickHead, actually. The first two BrickHeadz were classic Batman and Jonkler in one set. I disagree- Rebels Thrawn, while somewhat similar in demeanor, was cursed by being a long-form TV show villain, meaning we ran into constant "ah but losing was part of my plan" or "They won the battle but not the war". 90s thrawn completely turned the tide. The deadnoughts were old but totally did their job- the new republic was on the brink in book three. The non-C'Baoth clones served just fine, at least in the first trilogy, with no hint of insanity. Thrawn would've lost the battle for the net device in book three due to the smuggler alliance, but if he lived through the battle, he still had a good shot at winning the war. Especially if C'baoth hadn't gone full aslume and basically let them destroy the cloning facility. I also meant that actually- brickheadz always have black eyes, even if they're on exposed faces. I get what you're saying about tan tiles to sort of show where the tan comes though, but they usually wear black eyeshadow with the cowl on anyway. For a brickheadz, I think the white tiles work fine. Ok, sorry- first wide-release brickheadz. I politely disagree - this is exactly what Thrawn said after his insane defeat at Sluis Van. I shall reveal some of my secret fanfiction plans, yet I must point out that using TIE boarding crafts would've been an obvious and victorious decision. Of course, Zahn could have been unaware of their existence - but he wanted to show how insane Thrawn was. And yes, the good guys must win! I personally see a military-genius-Thrawn as someone who employs simple-yet-unorthodox-yet-efficient tactics to ensure Imperial victory. Although I am not a fan of the Canon TT (Thrawn is a Mary Sue who doesn't like the Empire, AND TIEs FLY IN THE ATMOSPHERE!!!), I liked the idea of using Tsunami to destroy the shield generators. Replace water with snow - this is how Thrawn would've won the battle of Hoth (there canonically was a mountain near Echo base). 90s Thrawn's only real success was bringing several Republican under Imperial rule. Thrawn's senseless arrogance and cruelty towards the Nohgri doomed him even without Leia's efforts - the Nohgri didn't believe her at first (and they were absolutely right, since what she told them was nonsense from the logical point of view). 40 minutes ago, Mandalorianknight said: The deadnoughts were old but totally did their job- the new republic was on the brink in book three. You are absolutely correct - especially about the fact that it wasn't mentioned about the clones not being insane. My fault. 42 minutes ago, Mandalorianknight said: Especially if C'baoth hadn't gone full aslume and basically let them destroy the cloning facility. Shame on me - I got so frustrated with the book that I completely missed the point that it was C'Baoth's personal fault that mount Tantiss was so horribly guarded. But it still doesn't justify this plot twiist in my eyes. I should point out though that I always hated C'Baoth's power to completely enslave any number of any people's minds - 'That's not how the Force works!' The same applies to Asajj Ventress' mind-controlling Rex in the Clone Wars pilot, which sadly lead to the belief that he was stupid. The OT made it clear that a Jedi can only fool a weak-minded person for a short period. I won't even comment on Thrawn's obviously blatant lies of the Emperor mind-controlling the whole Starfleet during the battle of Endor. 50 minutes ago, Mandalorianknight said: they usually wear black eyeshadow with the cowl on anyway. Sorry, I forgot about that. My bad 47 minutes ago, Jason Todd is my God said: 1: Red hood (sewer smash) 2: Red Hood (TLBM CMF) I agree. Both Red Hood minifigures are awesome, though the former is quite hard to acquire these days due to its relative rarity and extreme popularity. The latter even had a Jason Todd red hood head underneath the actual hood! Quote
TheBatstan Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 (edited) I don't believe it, actual news that gives us some temporary relief from the aslume. I've never bought a single BrickHeadz set before, I always saw it as Lego trying too hard to chase after the Funko Pops crowd when they already have their own signature thing with minifigures but this theme has been around 2016 so apparently there's SOME sort of audience that keeps buying these. Plus, they made one for The Batman so now I'm obligated to buy this (and someone at Lego either messed up with the angling of the eye pieces or has a great sense of humor to make Battinson go 🥺). Though this set is not without its faults. For starters, I wish the Bronze Age figure was switched out for the 2000s Hush suit so that we could have a comic Batman BrickHeadz with the black bat logo to balance things out as most of them already have the yellow oval as a print, but that's nothing a little modding can't fix. Or since this pack has an evolution theme going on, it should've been his First Appearance suit since the Bronze Age came after the 60s show (but that's me being pedantic). And Lego really seems like they would rather make every other Batfleck suit as a BrickHeadz before his regular Batsuit, this would've been the perfect chance to get his default BVS suit instead of the armored one. But either way, I'm definitely grabbing this next month...and 7 more times afterwards to get a complete set. Edited June 10, 2024 by TheBatstan Quote
