Hello,

I don't really know how to introduce you to my creation: the Renault Fuego.

800x600.jpg

It's been a year since I was able to make this model, with a few changes.

With this model, my main objectives were to make it detailed and as close as possible to the original, and to make it solid.

As for the details, my only regret is the rear panoramic window, which is so characteristic of the Fuego. I fiddled with it a few times, but wasn't really convinced by the result.

Doors and hood open, seats tilt. No Technic functions, unfortunately.

As for solidity, only the mirrors and rear wiper are fragile. Everything else is very solid, including a 6-point connection for the roof.

Otherwise, over the past 6 months I've made other models. Here's a screenshot. Don't hesitate to suggest one for next time, maybe in 6 months :).

ah and if you want more detailed descriptions / history of the car or anything else feel free to ask me for next time. I don't know if you're really interested.

Too high image resolution

This is really good! Very well recreated.

For rear window - I think, it would be really ok to put some pipes with wire inside or something like that on sides, to make some line of that rear window.

Rims are printed?

Hmm images don't load...?

Edit: Please resize your images to max 1024 x 1024, yours are 4000 x 3000! :D

Removed quoted post. Do not quote a whole block of images.

Nice work!

I agree with the ideia of puting something to make the rear window lines.

I would like to see details for the others also, for instance the R4 or the Topolino!

Magnificent!

Oh, yes, and that green Panhard (is it a Panhard? I don't know too much about 1950s French cars).

For the rear window, why not! Unfortunately, I don't have the model anymore to try!

For the wheels, it's 3D resin printing. I got it on request thanks to GT_Crea_cars on Instagram. He has a website and he makes superb products.

aha! These three creations are still being designed! But I'm glad you're interested.

I'm preparing a Panhard Dyna Z(1), a simca 5 (for the brand's 90th birthday!) and a Renault 4lR4.

I've already been able to assemble the 4lF4 once, but I have to take the model back. I'm still not sure about the rear sides. Let me know what you think!

ps: it's not a big deal not to know Panhards well! But did you notice the ford Taunus 12m P1 on the picture? You should know this one better!

You can't be serious! Did you dismantle this magnificent model? Oh no. :cry2:

Yes, I do. But for reasons I can't explain rationally, I never could convince myself to like Ford cars, so I'm much more interested in the Panhard...

P.S. That R4 looks great, especially the roof with those ridges!

and yes already dismantled ... And it served me well for the Talbot, the 4L and the Taunus!

But frankly, this ford is so obscure and austere that you could appreciate it :)!

No need to introduce, once you see it it's clear what model it is!

Great build. I love the wheel rims, they look like real thing.

It's a shame there is no suitable panels for class window, especially rear.

The other cars also shows your skills.

Thank you!

You're right, I can't wait for Lego to come up with new wheels and windshields! (but they don't :/)
