Hi everyone!

I've decided to sort through the two huge boxes of Lego I've had since I was a kid - about 30 sets that have gone pretty much untouched for about 30 years. I thought Eurobricks would be the perfect resource for help sorting through everything, repairing where necessary and tidying up / cleaning.

I'm fairly certain I've got 99%+ of the pieces, but I'm sure I'll need to replace a few bricks as I go. For now, I've got the mammoth task of sorting through everything. I think the goal currently is to sort through the bricks and recreate the sets; I did consider just sorting everything as a base for building MOCs, but in the first instance I think it'll be more fun to build the old sets and revisit those childhood memories!

The first challenge was sorting through the instructions I had; I have instructions for around half the sets, but they were in pretty bad condition. There was definitely a lot of mould damage and a couple of booklets weren't worth restoring. However, I managed to rescue the others with a quick rub down with isopropyl alcohol and they've now gone into a ziplock bag with some bicarb. I've bought a few sets as an adult which have been stored up in the loft too, so I think it'll be worth taking another look at those to see that they're still in good condition.

Anyway here's a pic so far and a list of the sets I've got. Now to get building!

Look forward to meeting everyone.
