Go nuts

Don't mind the photo below, I can't remove it even though I've tried.

Somehow we are in era of formula pullback. All in all from marketing point of view probably good idea to attract younger kids to Lego Technic.

It seems that it has decent part of black panels, but (as usual) no slick tires ...

This set is exactly what I imagine to be a Technic GWP. Not too big, not too small, and perfectly accompanies its bigger brother.

I think it's just a matter of time to have some smaller slick tires in the theme. Icons will introduce them firstly, sadly..

That is also possible...

Sooo, images put up on the uploader do not want to be deleted. Once you try, they pop back up again like wack-a-mole! @Jim with Admin power might be able to zap it. I can only advise never using the uploader , which is not the most helpful, but so far the only solution!

According to information from (https://www.stonewars.de/lego-2024/#lego-technic-2024) the release is scheduled for March 24. For its scale it is very good. Can we say that this is a remaster of 42026 from licenses?

F.Y.I, this foto was first posted uncropped on a Belgian (Walloon part) FB page. The set was avaliable in a Walloon retail store according to the poster.

May be an image of toy, offroad vehicle and text

Yeah this forum needs an overhaul because Ive had too many bugs when making posts and have lost too much work

I know that flex axle probably is just teal, but it looks like it has too much blue in it to be teal, so im confused.

240 parts, 26,99€, it should be the same scale as 42166 McLaren Neom Extreme E buggy

That's an interesting point.
From the pic i guess 42165 is 13 studs wide, which is also the case for 42166.
In real life, F1 cars are 2 meters wide, but I'm not sure about the measurements of the Extreme E buggy. For me it looks like a vehicle of the size of a dakar racer like the Audi RS Q e-tron, which is 2.3 meters wide.

My personal OCD always starts calculating if a new leaked or released vehicle might fit the 15-studs-wide-trucks scale, and if this F1 car is 13 studs wide, it's very close to that scale (2 meters would be 12 studs in that scale), which makes it an instant buy for me.

The real question is, what are the solutions?

Hard to say without knowing the question. One equation with two unknowns so the solution set is not finite. Expressing y as a function of x, #5 is quadratic in y² so that's relatively straightforward but #4 is a cubic, so that'll get difficult.

// Aluminum hat on:

Seems to be "the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything" related. May take some time to solve it, though. On the other hand, time machines suggest y = near forty-two. Wolfram Alpha comes up with a bit of lengthy equation when asked to solve for y (or x) that (roughly) seem to point in the same direction. And that may also be the reason why you can't delete it. OK, Deep Thought, aka @Jim, most probably can.

Thorsten.

P.S.: "The Uploader" - is that Matrix related?

It seems to be about the size of the monster truck pullbacks. How do they explain the price increase from 20€ to 27€?!

Inflation?

The price for the Mclaren E-something Dakar truck is up too. The piece count wasn't higher than the MJ sets.
Also remember that 42090 and 42091 had the same price as all of them whilst being 120-130pcs :D

The LEGO website had a 7sec video and some promo shots and I've kinda recreated the F1 car...
239/240 parts are on display. There are some invisible parts from the press materials are still making me wonder what should be there - all are colored in LIME.
Full res file from the bottom is here.

The RED pin-axle connector is barely visible in the front - the upper panel 3L AXLE holder has to be connected somewhere. I've hidden the wing below. The upper wing remains.

I still wonder WHY the RED one? You can see the limitations of the space there.

I've consulted @wojwachbricks as he got hold of a physical set and added the bits I couldn't see from the official photos of the set.

The revised IO file is here. Once I get a hold of a physical set I'll finally confirm all the parts are there.

The set is out, got some corrections in.
