Tayaya Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Deep in the Enchanted Forests, where only the elves know where to find it, lies the secret potion Trading Post of Anya's Guardian. Quote
Professor Thaum Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Very nice one mate. Everything is lovey and cute Quote
zoth33 Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 I like your design for the faeries I'm guessing with the lantern piece. The dreamling bodies used for elves here is a nice idea. The building looks great with all the tree pieces and roof looks fantastic. Really fun build you have here. Quote
Gideon Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 Excellent almost cartoonish look, in a very suitable theme for Avalonia 🧚 Best use I think I've ever seen of those "tree trunk costume" pieces. Quote
Sympatik Brick Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 This is one of my favorite constructions for the "Enchanted Forest" in the Brickscalibur contest. Now I understand why: as a resident of the Enchanted Forest, it's easy for you to represent your living environment so accurately 😉 Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 What a lovely build I love how you intergrated the tree costumes pieces into the house! Quote
Simon_S Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 I really like this! The colours work well together. And you have so many nice part usages in this. I especially like the pretzels for the windows - what a cool idea! The photography is also top notch. The background works really well. Did you use a screen for it? Quote
Puvel Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 Tiny elves! With party for windows! Very cute, excellent roof shape as well Quote
Tayaya Posted February 8, 2024 Author Posted February 8, 2024 Thank you all! On 2/4/2024 at 2:17 PM, Simon_S said: I really like this! The colours work well together. Did you use a screen for it? Thanks! Yes, the background was a large TV-screen, I don't normally have one so I decided to take advantage of it and try using it for my picture - it kind of worked, but it was definitely a pain. XD Quote
LordDan Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 There's loads of details to love in this build! The shaping and texturing of the roof is top notch, the use of the tree and flower costumes works really well, and the hanging sign is a great touch! Quote
Grover Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 Well done, and congrats on a well deserved win. The color combo here of the sand green and medium nougat is great. I love the use of the tree costume for the pillars on the corner. The elves are cute, and I like the overall shot. The photography and photoediting is superb. The brick built butterflies are beautiful, and the detail work in small scale of the potions etc. on the windowsill are awesome. The forced perspective on those purple flower costumes up front looks amazing. Creative use of the pretzels, and I love how the deer blend into the background. The sign is also cleverly done. Really great work. Hope to see more from you! Quote

I will say, I thought I came up with using the pretzels like that but then when I did it they looked vaguely familiar and I finally remembered that I had seen them used that way in one of Rolli's old builds. :P Quote
Space Coyote Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 I love what you've done with the roof build, the sand green looks so good with the light brown walls. The elves are super endearing, those little bodies seem like they were meant to have those pointy little hats on them. Your build is a real delight! Quote
