Posted February 6, 20241 yr Does anyone know how to make my lego powered up car steer using my phone/tablet? I have found the 2 coding blocks in there, one for vertical tilt and one for horizontal tilt, but neither of them does anything. Do I need any extra sensor for it to work? My car uses the powered up (boost) hub, external powered up motor and sensor of color and distance. And as for bonus question, how do I make the car steer using my playstation gamepad or any other gamepad? Edited February 6, 20241 yr by MTBRICKS

The app is called brickcontroller 2, and you need to set the motor function to "center steer" then click the red button with the gear and click "auto calibrate" or something like that. Hope you can get this working.

At least not when I replace the joystick code block with one of these. 23 minutes ago, Aurorasaurus said: The app is called brickcontroller 2, and you need to set the motor function to "center steer" then click the red button with the gear and click "auto calibrate" or something like that. February 6, 20241 yr the right one is correct, but indeed: does not work with "AB". With "A" it does. A second block with "B"only added: both motors running. A bug?! Edited February 6, 20241 yr by Lok24

A bug?! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Also, you may be bugged, but I'm not and AB is working for me now. And do you want to know why it didn't work for me before? Because I was in the code menu, not the controller menu :D Facepalm moment right there. Edited February 6, 20241 yr by MTBRICKS

Interesting. I only used the AB as an example, I'm actually using C for steering, but it's definitely good to know. Luckily the AB motors are included in the move hub itself so I won't have problems with them I believe. Edited February 7, 20241 yr by MTBRICKS

Like I said yesterday, the problem was that I didn't switch to controller mode for testing. I didn't even think about it since I was literally using no buttons.
