Posted July 23, 200816 yr Here´s a short review of the 4898 Coast Guard Boat which I found yesterday. It comes in a polybag and have 38 pieces. Here´s the boat, the minifig and the extra three pieces on top right. To the rescue ! Inventory. This is in my opinion a really nice little set. Fun & easy to build and useful in any town that takes the safety of their minifigs seriously, especially when there is a "Cannes"-kind of photoshoot at the beach ! So it gets a 7.5 out of 10 from me ! CopMike
July 23, 200816 yr Author Where did you find it CopMike??? Yes, really, tell us please Well thanks for the feedback on the set & review .You get one when you buy a kids snack meal at the cinema in Sweden. CopMike
July 23, 200816 yr Oh and I have been thinking about going to the cinema for years.(I only have abou 28 miles to the closest one and no car... ). But now I just got to go! Even if I have to make someone drive me under gunpoint! Edited July 23, 200816 yr by Mirandir
July 23, 200816 yr I really like little sets like this. They make great additions to any given theme. Thanks for sharing.
July 23, 200816 yr Well thanks for the feedback on the set & review . ))) I think its neat thks to the CG style... but the thing i dont like in it is its construction (the same idea as small boat in 7994 harbour), i mean - does it float? may you try it on water? Cinema snack...and what about fast food? And is it possible to buy this stuff in legoland? still waiting for 5626
July 23, 200816 yr Superb review! I love this small set very much, especially the design of its speedboat very much. Copmike, is there any chance for a trade to exchange this small lovely set, for something? Because it's defintely not possible for me to get it in Sweden, while I am stuck in Singapore.
July 23, 200816 yr Thank you for the great review, copmike! This CG Boat looks really nice! It's a pity that TLG didn't include it in one of the bigger set or as a seperate little non-promo set. Klaus-Dieter
July 23, 200816 yr What a great little set - much better than the kayak which you can actually buy. Still, it looks like you could build it yourself given exisiting Coast Guard pieces. Thanks CopMike! I probably wouldn't have even known about this little beauty unless your love of polybags prevailed!
