November 19, 2024Nov 19 Author I added a micro V8 and moved the engine higher up in order to make space for motors. Ditched the engine cover and details. Also added a front diff, it has the drive ring to lock it but the rest of the locking mech isnt hooked up yet. Rear axle is fully independant with the same locking diff (so same as the front axle), it has 4 wheel steering and I tried using unimog tires which more or less fit fine under steering/suspenson compression. Both axles use planetary hubs and I have fake disc brakes made in lego system in a box somewhere, I'm still working on the removable body work but i've kinda burned out for a while and am working on other stuff now. I could only make the removable bodywork black as I didnt want to touch my original set in any way. I look forward to seeingb @NV Lego technic;s mods. Edited November 19, 2024Nov 19 by SNIPE

November 19, 2024Nov 19 Maybe photo instructions like on my other MOCs. That's only once I finish it fully.

November 25, 2024Nov 25 I was happy that my method changed the rear door to open from the passenger side. I need to try it your way to keep the gearbox correct, but struggle with the logistics of not knowing if any systems will conflict/occupy the same space.

The problems are the same - old tires, old #3 connectors are used instead of new #7 connectors, low-quality and broken parts. It is quite possible to assemble a G500 without the newest parts - it will be a fully functional analogue with an appearance close to the original in a color available to you. I showed it here Unfortunately, the quality of Chinese Lego copies is getting worse and worse. For me, the worst copy was the Peugeot 9x9 - I returned it to the seller half-assembled, because it was very difficult to disassemble. I recently bought a copy of the McLaren P1 for 44 euros. It also has problems with the quality of the parts and they had to be finished with a file. Edited December 17, 2024Dec 17 by Sokolov Edward
December 15, 2024Dec 15 What is a "file" and what is it used for in your situation. Just now, NV Lego technic said: What is a "file" and what is it used for in your situation. ?

There is an old Soviet joke about "finishing with a file". In this case, the need for such finishing is sad, but it is better than when the part is cast with irreparable errors. Such parts also come across.

January 6Jan 6 Instruction no. 791 p.209 Two yellow arrows indicate the blue pins should be pushed in. What is the third yellow arrow indicating? Have I missed something? Â
