2025 Castle [wishlist/speculation]

If they do kraken knights, I'd love a return of Black Knights Sea Serpent to match up as a naval rivalry.

 

I'd prolly enjoy that more than a large scale tournament set.

I assume it is something to do with avoiding trouble with the Lego group.

E.g. On Discord now it is AI leak blood hounds that sniff out leaks very fast, if one picture get a strike everyone that have posted the same picture will get hit..

Doen’t MTS have a sticker for inn sign, right?  If so, i think it’sinteresting that modular building has a printed sign for inn - a same name.

The inn in MTS is a reference to the original guarded inn, but it is called the "Broken Axes Inn". But I imagine more than a few people will want to slot the modular's sign in there...

Lucky for those people printed elements from the Modulars aren't IP locked. At some point they should be available through PAB.

There was a 2nd version of the picture in much higher resolution on Reddit, and you can see it’s called the Old Guarded Inn and has two goats heads in the top corners

Yeah that is a must buy for my plans for an expanded town square once I get the set.

It almost 2025! What do you think is the most likely Castle set for this coming year? (assuming that we get a new set) Last year the Medieval Town Square was revealed to the LEGO fan media and they were able to start posing about it in early 2024. I am hoping we start to hear more information soon.

My guess is that it will be some sort of medieval joust/tournament that will compliment the two other set we have. I'm hoping this set gives us new barding and the King of the Lion Knights.

I think the Joust/Tournament could in part expand the Medieval Town Square with lots of villagers and little shops.

I definitely would like to see another castle. However, I don't see LEGO releasing another large castle for another faction until the Lion Knights Castle retires.

Nothing, maybe a GWP if we are lucky
The pattern from the last few years suggest we will get a set every 3 years, with Pirates and Space the other years.

• 2025 is Space and a set is heavily rumored
• 2026 Pirates
• 2027 Castle

However Castle seems more popular than the other two at least the sets stay on shelf longer so it's a small change something pops up before that

In terms of brand new, a medieval farm / mill to round out the recent new releases of LKC and medieval village.

In terms of re-releases/re-imaginings, Wolfpack Tower (6075). Maybe the Bricklink Designer Program choice covers that base already? I'd love to see what the official designers could do with it.

A medieval joust maybe in 2026. For 2025 we get the Wolfpack CMF. That's it. There will be a Blacktron Renegade remake in january according rumours. A nostalgia set and Lego only does once a year a nostalgia set. 2022 was exception with Galaxy Explorer and Lion knights castle because it was the 90th anniversary for Lego. 

I am allready curious what we will get with Lego's 100th anniversary. 

Any thoughts somebody?

Ok, honestly, that really surprises me. The last one must have been doing very well if they make a new one right afterwards. It is said to cost 120$ so 20 more than the old one so I hope for some more bricks too ;). And more minifigures, though that one seems unlikely ;).

Wouldn´t be surprised if it will include Lion Knights this time.
