Llewop Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 City have been doing their sub themes for years now and done quite well with the space ones. It could be a way to gage interest in a full castle wave if they had a castle sub theme. You could have a museum fortress/ castle or a reenactment set like they do in my home town Dover Castle has them regularly. The only thing is I have no idea how they would fit in a helicopter in those kind of sets :D i remember when building the LKC that it mentioned the Wolfpack and then obviously we got a Wolfpack figure in MTS. I haven’t gotten round to building or buying MTS yet but were there any clues or easter eggs that could suggest what we might get next year or in the near future? Feel like icons is the home of castle sets now, all the time we have ninjago feel like a castle wave/theme aimed at all ages would never work as kids would go for the ninjago sets and Lego relies more on license themes now. I wish I’d gotten castle sets when they were out at the time. I do hope we get something in 2025 not sure when the rumors for icons sets will start coming out Quote
SpacePolice89 Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 Does this mean that there will be new Castle sets? I'm not a member of Twitter so I can't read the comments. Quote

Knowing Lego, that probably doesn´t have to mean anything - or could aswell just have been teasing towards the D&D CMF series - though I would actually more lean to the first option. Quote
karrit Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 I like that knight but knowing LEGO it's probably just an advertising gimmick. Wishful thinking that it's actually a minifig for the next non-licensed series because it looks awesome. Quote

Well that isn´t going to happen, since that knight is an actual already existing Minifigure from CMF Series 9 - they seem to like that one though, since that isn´t the first time they used it for something like that - so there might be the chance that they would redo him, if they ever choose to make a collection of past CMF figures again. GreenhouseBricker Posted August 8, 2024 Author Posted August 8, 2024 Unfortunately, the LEGO IDEAS Forest Base was Not Approved. I wonder if that means LEGO already has some more Castle sets in development. I know LEGO just announced some changes to IDEAS and the BDP that specifically asks fans not to submit ideas with faction names in the title. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/f0a4d056-6b10-4993-aeec-8e16dded0c57/official_comments Quote

However it doesn´t seem unlikely that they are working on the next set already, given they don´t seem to sell that bad from an outside view. Quote
Black Monarch 88 Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Isn’t there BDP forestman set coming out soon? I think there is certainly demand but got to keep it on a drip feed. Quote
GeoBrick Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Yeah, the Forest Stronghold is open for crowdfunding in October. Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 (edited) With a redesigned Wolfpack buckler appearing in the new CMF series in January 2025, how big do you rate the chance that we'll get a redesigned 6038 Wolfpack Renegades either for Black Friday this year or as a GWP in spring / summer 2025? That would be excellent - I think it’s a perfect GWP, and that they should definitely do it if they have any sense! Not sure they will though. Quote

Honestly I think there's more chance we'll see an updated version of the iconic Wolfpack Tower. Quote

I think one of the idea's sets or bricklink sets will get picked eventually maybe even one in series 6 of bricklink designer program Quote

Hopefully with updated Wolfpack shields. I was dissapointed that the medieval town square didn't get one. Quote
DonQuixote Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Who is gonna preorder the Forrestmen stronghold ? I am gonna skip it. A castle doesn't fit this faction. Also I don't like the open back. It just can't compete with the Mountain Fortress in my opinion. Quote

You can always design your own 'backwalls' to close the set up, and populate it with the soldiers of another fief. Quote

TeriXeri Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 (edited) I wonder if the upcoming "Spooky" stuff in LEGO Fortnite will have some more references to Castle, as the last update Lost Isles had a lot of Pirate stuff (pirate skeletons and the minifigs from Barracuda Bay as Pirate enemies) , spooky could mean Fright Knights or Forestmen or something for that game, as it already has Falcon Knights and unofficiallly Wolfpack (figures missing emblem as they likely didn't want to spoil it releasing in the Town Square set or something?), and a Lion Knights villager. LEGO also seems to have played it safe by doing "islanders" as banana people, they still have a variation kahuka styled masks and stone totems, and throwing spears and even oval shields like the original Islanders. But Banana people also do fit in Fortnite as the Peely character has appeared various times (even in a big lego set now) And the "Tutor housing" they released in that game fits both pirates and castle builds really well. (yellow+brown walls/darkblue roof) also fits the style of 3-in-1 Castle. (build scale is too large for actual sets tho) There's a lot of Fortnite crossovers lately, Friends, and more Dreamzzz have been part of seperate game maps, some having pieces/builds/figs from sets. That said, having more Castle via Creator 3-in-1 doesn't seem unlikely, figures are still in production for Falcons, Wolfpack, Lion Knights and Forestmen + the more medieval torso possibilities from set like Viking Village still being around. Right now 3-in-1 is on a quite low number of minifig sets as well, so having some sets contain minifigs at the start of 2025 is certainly possible, as the number would be cut from 7 to just 4 remaining (Pirate Ship, Space Coaster, and Cozy + Modern House). Roebuck Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 (edited) We got a lot of carts in the -80-90, I do not understand why Lego do not make one as a GWP, seems like a no-brainer to me. Edited October 10, 2024 by Roebuck Quote
Lego Nostalgia Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Would like an expansion to the Medieval Market Square and a Castle for the Black Falcons Quote

Definitely need to save cash to pay for the Implant. I probably have most of what it needs other than the tree limb stuff. It just seems to take so long for the instructions to get posted. Quote
