2025 Castle [wishlist/speculation]

There are plenty of seaside castles in GOT, LOTR, WOT, the witcher etc that look nothing like El dorado fortress.  It would be something different for castle fans and I would be interested in what they would do with the faction.

Yes I know castle Pyke from Game of thrones. It just looks ugly. Just a couple of towers in the sea connected with wooden bridges.

Exactly.  It would be cool to see a beter build than the ugly modern El Dorado. But that Eli Dorado is not exaclty a “seaside castle”. 

I imagine a castle on beach or seaside cliff. Something refreshing fo Lego!

What about the Iron Islands and House Greyjoy? House Greyjoy even has a kraken on its coat of arms.

Never liked that house. My favourite is house Tyrell. Margary was good at manipulating her husband kings and Olana was responsible for king Joffry's death. The Tyrells are bad *ss.  They deserved the Iron throne. But their story line ended with season 6. With season 7 everything went downhill storywise and season 8 was the worst.

I'm saying there are many castles, forts, towers, etc they could do that's just one.  Driftmark or Dragonstone would be good or like @Yperio_Bricks said the Iron islands. There's other places like Gulltown and Sharp point and on and on.  In LOTR the grey havens, Dol Amroth, Tharbad, Pelargir, etc.  There is so much to explore with a seaside port of harbor and lego could really do something special if they wanted to.

I completely missed this post. While i mentioned the Iron Islands and while like the rough northern look, I did not mean castle Pyke in particular. Although there are some cool mocs of it.

Rough northern knights sailing under the kraken banner, can it get any cooler than that?!

I must admit, i am a little hyped about the idea of Kraken Knights. I wonder how long it will take until the prize machine set is gonna be revealed & released or we hear about the first leaks at least.

Yes I can't wait anymore 

It's taking too long. It will probably Krakens for the gumball machine. 

But I am curious what faction they will include in the new creator castle.

You kind of get both those houses/factions in Harry Potter!  

The similarity to Harry Potter and the existing Black Falcons is why I voted for the Krakens - totally different from current offerings.

I agree, I believe it will be the Dragon Knights. I think It will pair well with the creator 3in1 Green Dragon. Maybe we will get another plain Majisto in the set as well.

As mentioned earlier in this thread I think the faction that will be present in the next 3 in 1 castle will be Dragon Knights because the mold already exists and this allows LEGO to make it profitable. Also the release of the dragon in the creator 3 in 1 range from January is a hint that this will be so, but I might be wrong.

With all these recent faction reboots (Lions, Falcons, Forestmen, Dragon Knights, Wolfpack), we should conclude easily that the same treatment will apply to the Black Knights. It would be unforgivable otherwise. In what set and on what occasion do you think this could be done?

That's what I thought but I thought maybe you had some other info.  It would be nice to see the dragon knights again.
