It's still available on the UK Lego S@H website: (link here)

It's a really nice set, and doesn't seem to have received the credit that it deserves. It's cream rather than white, the top wing wobbles, and it doesn't have a loading ramp, but I don't regret buying it!

There's a general Star Wars 'Q & A' thread at the top of the Star Wars page (link here) it's probably best to add this sort of question there in future, rather than creating a new thread :classic:

I am new to this whole Forum thing so I am a little confused as to where to post what. As for this set I have one that I have not opened yet because I want to see what kind of money it will go for in the secondary market once it is EOLed......same for the 10188 death star, which seems like will never die!!!!!

Don't worry about the thread, one of the mods will probably merge it into the Q & A :classic:

I get the impression that the shuttle hasn't sold in massive numbers (it's already been on sale), so there's a reasonable chance it will rise to the £300-£350 range within 12 months. I don't think that the Death Star will ever be really valuable (when it's finally out of production!) as it's been available for 4 years and there seems to be a considerable amount of 'stockpiling' going on!!

man I hope it reaches that amount, that is almost 3 times what it retails for!! I would be happy with that. As for the Death Star I have mixed feelings on what it will bring in the secondary market.....hopefully alot!!!

A lot of people seem to have picked up the shuttle, so i wouldn't be surprised if it sold better than you think. I never regretted getting it myself, it's one of the most beautiful models in my collection!

As for the initial question, the shuttle is still available on the Dutch Shop at Home site and i have heard no rumors of it going out of production anytime soon. Sounds like a scam to me.

The UK RRP is £245.99, so I'm not sure how £300-£350 is 3 three times higher; perhaps it's the different exhange rates  However, by the time you factor in Ebay & Paypal fees it won't be a massive return, even at £350. If it goes on sale again before they discontinue it I might grab another one though.....

As DFOL said, it's a beautiful model, only beaten by the Falcon in my opinion :wub::wub::wub::wub:

msrp in America is 259.00, £350 is about 546 USD well on its ways to three times.....OK closer to two times more but I was trying to make myself feel better by saying Three times ha ha sorry!

Actually, this belongs in "Star Wars sets, anyone?", the topic for discussion of availability. I'll merge it shortly.

It's a Toys R Us exculsive but it's marked there to £80 where at the Lego store and Shop@home it's £60. I know it's short notice but tomorrow for the first hour of the day in the UK Lego brand Stores are offering AFOLs 15% off for the first hour of there operating day. I was planning to pick up Palpatines arrest tomorrow for £50.99.

So with many new LEGO products being released is Star Wars on its way shortly? Or will they pull what they did last year and wait until the end of January to release them?

I've just noticed that the new AT-RT set is available from Amazon (UK) for £19.99 if anyone is eager to buy one (link here)

It's odd that it's the only one, everything else is still 4+ weeks delivery?! :look:

Has anyone gotten ahold of the MHC set yet and if so can we see some pics of the set and figs up close?

Its available in the store I go, but I'm not going to buy it, sorry.

I'll be heading in the afternoon to my local Fun store (in Ninove) and I'm going to buy an Umbaran HMC tank. I already phoned them if they got the new sets, and they do  .

Will try do a review off them too

Amazon.com has some of the new sets listed- both battle packs, the Rancor pit, and the AT-RT!

Order placed! Thank you for posting that. This is the best self-Christmas ever. :P

Looks like all the 2013 SW sets have now also hit brick & mortar stores (Bart Smit) all across the Netherlands.

Picked up my copy of the 75005 Rancor Pit this morning, and they had all the other sets as well (except of course the new planets). Mega expensive, though: Rancor Pit cost me € 74,99  , so I let the A-Wing (€31,99) and the non-OT sets, which do not interest me at all, lie there.

Why do you pay as much if you could get them much cheaper elsewhere, not in Bart Smit/Intertoys/Blokker

Because I am extremely impatient, and I wanted to see Jabba's Palace on top of the Rancor Pit for myself!

I realize there are many much more affordable options to buy Lego in the Netherlands these days (local internetstores, A-Tembo, Amazon), but they all don't have the new sets in stock yet! Considering the discounts I usually find on Lego, it's not so bad to pay full retail for a single set once in a while.

I have to say, having just finished building it, it does complement Jabba's Palace better than I had expected. Having the gate at 45 degrees (supporting the tower) is the best way to go, in my opinion.

I discovered another place in the Netherlands where the 2013 sets are available, a slight bit cheaper then retail price.

they also have got this offer, buy each €30 star wars, get free planet set.

at least the face of the umbaran can be seen better.

I went to my local toys r us (Langely Canada) and I saw every 2013 star wars set there. I wanted to get the sets, but I might get them for Christmas so I didn't buy them.
