Of course, I am special enough to be drive 500 miles to get Anakin's starfighter and not be criticized.

And, don't bother looking in stores for Ahsoka's starfighter. Just order it on shop@home like I did!

All of the new sets (including the solar sailer) are arriving this week at my local LEgo storte. I've checked TRus, kamrts and walmarts half a dozen times. They are already out. Hope i'll be the first to get the solar sailer on EB.

i got this set at wal mart and there was one there so i quickly bought it, its size is pretty decent. the new count dooku minifig is awesome and it comes with 2 magna guards. to add to your collection

PROS:

count dooku minifig

good for collection

room inside ship

2 magna guards

CONS:

little driver minifig is kinda lame.

Unlikely. On LEgo, there is one review from Sweden and he is apparently a top contributor.

I found all of the star wars sets (minus the battle packs) at my local target along with all new city, pirates, and indiana jones about 3 days before christmas. I went back two days ago to see if they had the battle packs in yet, and there was nothing, only the pirate ship, a few small castle sets, some bionicle (spelling?) and some small city sets.

I don't understand why the battle packs are so rare; I've been to Toys R Us, 2 Target's, 3 Walmart's, and Kmart and have yet to see one. Are they only being sold in specific stores?

Ae you referring to the Battle Packs in general? Or just the new wave?

It's only just January...they'll come soon.

Sheesh - take it easy, we wont see much of them here until February.

Unfortunately KimT is right and I fear we won't see many 09 sets until February or late January, I went to Target and Toys R Us for the last time in 2 weeks searching for the sets and they have nothing, I think Toys R Us may have had them at one point but they flew out the door within the first few hours. I gave in and just went to S@H to buy what I wanted, even though some stuff is back ordered there to I guess patience really is a virtue

My lego store is completelty restocking to-morrow. inclusing all of the new sets except for the solar sailer, which is the one I want.

As far as I know neither of these will be released for regular sale.

They're promotionals and I even believe someone was told that TLG has decided to stop the production of minis as regular sets.

I can't believe that 7752 Dooku's Sailer is available in almost every country (previously backordered)but not the US. It's the set I expect most, yet it's the only one they're holding back as if to taunt me . Tell me if any of you spot it. Surely they won't forsake the US for ever?

Great news everyone! I believe I have discovered the USD price of Dooku's Solar Sailor! I hope I don't jinx it though.

In Britain: Ahsoka's fighter: $30, Dooku's Sailor: $40. If Ahsoka's is $10 under from USD, so is the Solar Sailor.

In France: Ahsoka's Fighter: $50, Dooku's Sailor: $60. If Ahsoka's starfighter is $10 over from USD, so is the Solar Sailor.

Meaning the Solar Sailor will be $50, the perfect price, and not the rumored $80! :thumbup:

Thanks so much for the tip. I just got the solar sailer at 50 USD, so you actually were right, Darth Legolas. But I had to pay another 5 for tax, and chose next day delivery for 25 dollars more =80 dollars

I was halfway to ordering the Solar Sailer, but at $50+tax+shipping, I'm gonna wait and get it from Lego Shop, where I bet it'll be $10 cheaper to begin with.

I checked back 2 weeks later and they still don't have 8014. Also they advertise the Republic Fighter tank and the Sepratist Spider Droid by building models of it and hanging it throughout the stores. Yet they don't have any through the store. When i ask if they have any, they say they never arrived.
