382nd Legionnaire Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Really? What country are you from? I'm in the US. I see it's that 10.99 crap they pulled with Ambush in Cario. Is this happening to all of the 9.99 sets Here's a link. Same here. I thought this was relatively old news but i guess not. I'm not sure if the $1 difference made it worthwhile. Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 How can the Mon Calamari star cruiser be £88 but the Tantive 4 is £97 - when one has twice the bricks? I am convinced pricing is now done at random Quote
KimT Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 How can the Mon Calamari star cruiser be £88 but the Tantive 4 is £97 - when one has twice the bricks?I am convinced pricing is now done at random It's not. There's a lot to the calculation of a given set's price. Actually a helluva lot more than just brick count. There's the production price of different colours, the price of a new mold for new parts and printed parts. Thinking that all that matters is the amount of bricks is a little naive Quote
cole Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I just stopped by my TRU today, and they have no starwars sets except for the Mon-Cal. It's not like I live in a fare-away please either, southern British Columbia. Has anyone elses TRU not gotten the starwars sets yet, or is it just mine. I feel left out Quote
Rocky Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I wouldn't complain about a $1.00 difference. Battle packs are already a bit pricey for what you get but the Lego Company knows that everyone wants the figures. Star wars is a character based theme so there is no reason they wouldn't be in demand. I just stopped by my TRU today, and they have no starwars sets except for the Mon-Cal. It's not like I live in a fare-away please either, southern British Columbia. Has anyone elses TRU not gotten the starwars sets yet, or is it just mine. I feel left out My TRU got in the new sets yesterday. Only the Echo Base, Battle of Endor and Clone Wars Y-Wing. The manager said that they have another shipment coming in soon though. All different places have different release dates. The new sets will most likely come out very soon to you. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Anybody know if the mini sets will be coming to U.S. ever? Quote
Skipper 24 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Anybody know if the mini sets will be coming to U.S. ever? I think they probably will. After all you had the GG fighter mini and V-19 before us in the UK and we still got them.So it would just be the other way round really. Perhaps TLG wants to spread things out a little. Quote

I feel left out I know I'm in a different Country but my Toys R Us has literally every Star Wars set that is in production today, I was actually amazed. They even had X-Wings still. Quote
Mission Commander Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Has anyone bought the Tantive IV yet! Quote
ben506 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Has anyone bought the Tantive IV yet! I ordered mine on Friday morning, and it was shipped this morning. Knowing how the post works, it should get here (UK) Wednesday or Thursday, so if no-one else has done anything by then, I'll see what I can do. Quote

JimBee Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but it looks like 7979 Republic Attack Tank is back! It's still exclusive to Target stores (in the U.S.). You can find it in the regular Lego aisle, unlike last year when it was in a separate aisle with other exclusives. I was trying to get this set around Christmas last year, but they were removed from stock after the holidays. I was glad to see it again, and I snapped it up right away. Has anyone else noticed this in their Target? Quote

thespurs200708 Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Oh boy, I've been searching for this for ages! Do you think that Target will ship to the UK? Quote
JimBee Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 We already found out about this in July 20 (see this FBTB.net post). I've seen it in my local Target (see this blurry picture), and it's also available at LEGO S@H here. Ah, thanks. Did it ever go away? Around my area, it did. Right after Christmas Target took them off of shelves, at least that's what a store manager told me back in January. I haven't seen one until now. Oh boy, I've been searching for this for ages!Do you think that Target will ship to the UK? No idea, but if you have Targets there, probably. Or do you mean this specific Target? Probably not, if you order online I think the products are shipped from a Target close to you, or a storehouse. I'm sure more than just the Target I went to has them. Quote
Skipper 24 Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Oh boy, I've been searching for this for ages!Do you think that Target will ship to the UK? Nope no Target stores in the UK as far as I know. At least none any where near me. A store like that I don't think will ship abroad. Quote
-JD- Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 There are no Targets in the UK. I recommend visiting Tesco next time you go shopping, because I originally got my one from there. Also, I think it was an exclusive to Tesco too. Quote
BlueDragonZ Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Hi i'm wondering if anyone know where the Republic Fighter Tank & Pirate tank is exclusive to in Canada? LEGO STAR WARS Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Sorry if this is in the wrong topic but should I buy a UCS ISD or MF? Thanks Quote
Star_Wars_Rules Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 This is more a question in regards to the new tantive 4 set that has been released. My friends and myself have not seen it yet here in australia. Has anyone here in australia spotted it yet? Quote
