CommanderFox Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I think it was available. Well here on the New Zealand S@H it was and I did see it was while I was comparing the prices. I think it will be the most popular set of this wave. Yes I think your right about that. The price to parts ratio isn't great, but its the figs that are in it that will make it popular. KimT Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 8091 & 8092 will be available in BR (Denmark) from the 11th of January 2010. I guess this'll mean Sweden as well. So no need to pay S@H handling and shipping just yet. Quote
RepublicForces Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Dous anybody know when the 2010 sets are available in Holland? Quote
Future74 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 (edited) Dous anybody know when the 2010 sets are available in Holland? They are available through S&H. You can also order them on various dutch webshops. I havent seen them in the regular stores yet. Edit: added "dutch" Edited January 5, 2010 by Future74 Quote

Hey 'roncanator' being in Kiwi land have you checked out The Warehouse website - it lists Lukes Landspeeder for $54.99nz, of course - out of stock it reads ! (they must not have the stocks yet !) (they must not have the stocks yet !) Yes but their website is highly unreliable for seeing if they have a product or not. The inventory also varies between stores Quote
CJBERRY Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 some pricing is just weird with the new sets the freeco speeder 8085 - 2 figs, 177 pieces £19.99 lukes landspeeder 8092 - 5 figs, 163 pieces £24.99 both of these make sense but swamp speeder 8091 176 pieces, 5 figs (although 3 are the 'droid' type) £29.99 I was going to get one, but doing so just endorses daft rpices (unless its a mistake but you would think it would have been corrected, it doesnt take long to alter a digit on a website) Might go for the pirate tank instead 7753 - always liked the look of that, and at £31.99 seems better value Looking forward to seeing if the rumours of a summer AT-AT are true, never got round to picking one up, and didnt fancy the motorised one /back to lurk Quote
kenny3011 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Has anyone from Australia seen any of the new sets in stores yet? Quote
RoryoCox Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I don't know if this belongs here or not but the instructions for the 2010 sets are now available on TLCs customer services Customer Services Quote

roxio Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Are the rebel and imperial battle packs from 08 discontuned? Yes, and already starting to fetch silly prices on epay in the same way 7654 / 7655 do Quote
sok117 Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Does anyone know where the Swampspeeder with Barris is exclusive too? Quote
KimT Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 In Denmark it seems like they're exclusive to BR and TRU. Which normally means TRU and Target outside Denmark. Quote

commdr_neyo Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Here are the prices of the summer wave in euro. They also have the prices of other theme's Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 (edited) Thank you very much for this information, commdr_neyo! The price for the Hoth Wampa Cave is imo ok. But 91 Euros for the Slave I - which this time even includes only three minifigs - is usury! Klaus-Dieter Edited January 9, 2010 by Klaus-Dieter Quote
sok117 Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 obviously TLC wants to stop us from buying lego, those prices are simply outrageous, 47.99 euros for hoth wampa cave, 91 euros for a slave 1. Do I dare calculate it to the canadian dollar? No, this is horrible Quote
Penitent Tangent Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Prices there don't seem too bad.. nothing on the level of the swampseeder at least. The Slave 1, Turbo Tank and Shuttle where always going to be pretty expensive sets. Wampa Cave, Greivous and Plo Koon's Starfighter seem reasonable. Quote
BlueDragonZ Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 After the price conversion, the rough estimate is these prices. $50 for Grievous fighter is more than 2X what we pay 2 years ago. Slave 1 and hoth wampa cave is pretty ridiclous too. I don't think we get the same amount from what we get in the hoth wampa cave vs hoth rebel base. Lego is getting really expensive now. LEGO 8093 Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter (~$24.99 USD / $34.99 CAD) LEGO 8095 General Grievous' Starfighter (~$49.99 USD / $69.99 CAD) LEGO 8096 Palpatine’s Shuttle (~$59.99 USD / $79.99 CAD) LEGO 8097 Slave I (~$89.99 USD / $119.99 CAD) LEGO 8098 Clone Turbo Tank (~$109.99-$119.99 USD / $139.99 CAD) LEGO 8089 Hoth Wampa Cave (~$49.99 USD / $69.99 CAD) Quote

It's a mid-size ship like the Republic Attack Shuttle and Y-Wing, so I could see it pricing at $65-$70 US. But $90? There's just no way. Quote
Lt. Veers Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 A few weeks ago, I went to Toys R' Us. I was glad to see that they had most of the 2010 sets, but then I saw that their prices were inflated. The battle packs costed $16.99, the Freeco and Tri-fighter were $34.99, the TIE Defender was $59.99, and the ARC-170 was $74.99. Did anyone else experience this? Is it just a pre-Christmas price hike, or something permanent? Quote
Millacol88 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 My local Wal-mart had the Freeco speeder and the Tri-Fighter, unfortunately no battle packs, though. Quote
