I suppose noone is really interested, but I will post it anyway since it's relevant for this thread: neither the Imperial Shuttle nor the Jedi Starfighter will be available in Italy, even for the biggest LEGO shops. It seems that TLG won't make them available here, and people will have to order them directly at S@H with their horrible shipping fees (30+ euros for the most expensive packages when 100% of the shops will send the box for free if you've spent more than 230-250 euros? What the hell? I thought it would have been the contrary!!).

The shuttles nearly here :sweet: . Im going to the lego store on September the 2nd to get it for 20% off with the V.I.P voucher in the September calender :grin:

I don't recall seeing this voucher in the calendar.

However I rather spend the money on the dropship set.

Hmm I just checked the calender and its there. Yea I already got the drop ship maybe I should get another before its discontinued and get the UCS Shuttle for more money off :wink:

My 1st post so please be gentle.

My Son is going on and on for this set for Xmas.

I understand Lego stopped selling it in the UK in april.

Do Lego ever start making sets that were once obsolete?

I don't really fancy paying ebay prices, to be honest I probabley cant afford to.

That's why I'm around :grin:

The Death Star is a cool set indeed.

It's actually got a lot more playability and figs than the MIllenium Falcon, eventhough that's a waaay more iconic set.

I'd expect to see it disappear by the Summer 2011 release, as it was a 2008 release. Or they might go the MF route, and discontinue it after a final sale during the May the Fourth be with You event. Of course, the X-wing's been around for 4+ years, now.

No; TLG don't do that, and even if they did it would be in about 10 years. Your best bet is Bricklink.

Holy Cow! I did not realise the price of this set had gone up so fast! Really wishing I had bought a second one to sell like I was going to do at the time!

Well I should just be happy that I bought it in the first production run. :sweet:

... in Legoland Günzburg (Germany) ... but only this weekend (cause there is a great StarWars-Event, the "German Garrison" as a SW-Reenectment-Group take part)

When you buy Lego-staff for 75 EUR or more you'll get one (white boba) for free :wink:

Yea but lego keep the X-Wing in production so they dont have to design a new one every 2+ years lazy TLG :tongue:

Boots is running it's usual Xmas Mix and Match offer again in the UK and has several of the Star Wars lego included. Of the new wave there are Slave 1, Grievous' Starfighter and Plo Koons starfighter so if you buy Slave 1 and Grievous' you'd get Plo Koons FREE! Shame not every set in this wave is available else I'd have a field day!

I rarely visit the BSTF-Forum and thus a topic as this is kinda welcome in the Star Wars Forum along with the eBay listings by Zorro.
